Very happy with work done by SHEcan2. Owners and carpenters listened to our wishes with consideration and answered our questions candidly. All the work was done with attention to both strength and decorative detail.

They are the best. Very good coming out, estimating was professional, took down what I wanted and knew what was needed. Don't hesitate to use them.

Steve built new steps with a handrail. The old steps were so small and steep we had to turn sideways to go from kitchen to garage. Now the new steps are per required specs, very solid, with easy access.

Went very well, from the first call to the actual project. Everyone we spoke to or had contact with was very kind & very professional. They came in the morning, got right to the job & cleaned up after the work.

Experience with this contractor was above average from those who did the estimate to those who did the work. Cost was reasonable.

My God you could not ask for better craftsmanship or crew. They did a smaller job for us four years ago and we were so impressed we called them Terri when it we were ready for our very big job. She was book almost a year out. Reluctantly we researched other companies but just didn't feel like anyone could meet our standards like SheCan2. We waited and it was worth it. They transformed our tiny third story loft and powder room into an unbelievable master suite nestled in the trees. They created a bathroom to die for, a bedroom and private space with fireplace and built a dream closet 12x14 over the 2nd story dinning room. They also made changes to the floor below to compliment the addition, gave design ideas and included us in the process every step of the way. We also had to remove exterior walls from the third story including glass block which was a lot of fun. It was a harsh winter with extreme cold temperatures and endless rain but that did not hold them up. They showed up every morning at 7am. They are considerate, clean and as quiet as possible.

We are a woman-owned small business so always appreciate an opportunity to support another such business. Everyone was very professional and friendly and the work was done beautifully! We will definitely hire these SHEcan2 again!

Very well, except for the work the concrete sub contractor did. He used my personal property items without my permission. The mixture he used cracked within a couple of days.

Unfortunately, they never took the time to call me back. I am disappointed because I really liked the idea of hiring and supporting woman, but not even a call back saying I will contact you in a few days/weeks. Mari Davis, CA

The pricing was fine, we were happy with it. The responsiveness was very good, they were very responsive. It was very well designed and very efficiently installed. The workers were very good and very professional. It was not an unconscionable amount of time, it was very reasonable.

Terri and Kim were right on time for the initial appointment to give me a quote, and were very helpful and professional. They assessed the issue and then provided two options for repair - a very thorough one that would require major construction and quicker, cheaper version that was less involved but would produce similar results. I was very impressed that they took the time to walk me through how they would do the repair and how I could do it myself if I wanted. There was zero sales pressure and they even gave me some insights on other parts of the house. The only issues I had was that it took a week longer to get the quote than originally stated and the price was a bit higher than I expected, $800. I expected closer to $500-$600, but don't have other quotes for comparison. I'm holding off on the repair until the spring and will consider doing it myself thanks to their input. But I will definitely be calling them again for other repair jobs. I was very happy with the experience.

Was a higher bid, but others seemed reluctant about the job. The work performed was EXCELLENT. Have glass tile and we are very pleased with the result.

Exceptional. This is a very tedious job and it was the first time Terri's workers had ever worked on one of these units before. They performed exceptionally well when they were under pressure.

Nightmare. Couldn't have gone worse. I really don't understand how this company has an A rating. I think Angie's list hides bad reviews for companies that pay them. We'll see if this one is hidden. Terri, one of the owners of the company, came out to look at the project & asked what my budget was. I told her it didn't make financial sense to do it for more than $50k. She didn't seem to think the job was overly complicated & came back with an estimate of just under $50k, including labor & matrials. I replied it sounded good & that I'd like to meet to discuss the types of materials. She replied that they could start the next morning. Wanting to take advantage I agreed. She came over & asked for a $5k check, which I gave her. Then a couple weeks later I gave her another $5k, then another $5k, until I became concerned that the budget was a third gone & the project was not a third done. I asked for a timeline per usual with construction projects, of when payments are due. She came back with a revised estimate $20k higher & stripped of many tasks & materials in the original bid! I was astounded. I told her that would not work at all. She gave me all sorts of excuses like her foreman underbid the job, her rates went up, etc. She said the only way they could stay on budget is if I could pay her cash. I paid her guys to finish some stuff on the first phase so I could move on cleanly with someone else. She also demanded I pay her material suppliers, which I shouldn't have but I did because I have integrity. In all, I paid $30k for less than half of the total job. Six months into it, their part still hasn't passed inspection. They broke my sprinkler system & landscape lighting in the process. I cannot understand why this company has an A rating, much less is still even in business! I'm considering going after Angie's List for damages. One of the more poorly run companies I've seen in my life.

The work was marvelous, and my Mother-in-Law was positively giddy about the personal service and the beautiful results. SHEcan2 has my highest recommendation.

Excellent. They were prompt with appointments and quick to respond to any questions I had. The workers were professional and the work was done on time. My bathroom looks great. There were no surprises on price. They were able to accommodate my very tight schedule. I would use them again.

I did not use because she returned my call and said they were booked till mid January. I appreciated the call back and would call for future jobs realizing I need to call further in advance if possible

Loved Terri and Skyler. Both extremely professional and knowledgable. We would have gone with them but as another contractor was taking measurements to give us a bid, we discovered more work needed to be done and rather than call her back to look at it to incorporate into her estimate, we decided just to go with this other contractor. She seemed very busy and we were exhausted by that point. We will definitely consider using her company in the future as we have more work to be done.

It went very well. I met with Terri and we toured the project area and discussed what I wanted done. The crew showed up on time and went right to work. It took them about three days to frame the structure, create frames for, build and hang two doors (the deck has two entrances), put the roof in place and secure screening to the entire thing. They then installed a "cat door" in the wall of the house so the space could be accessed by the cats at any time. It is particularly important the area be "escape proof" so that not even kittens could find a way out nor could a determined skunk or raccoon find its way in. Toward this end they carefully wove extra wire in the seams where the screening met and put extra screws along the edges of the roof panels. The very last thing was the installation of locksets on both doors to secure the area. The crew checked with me several times during the building to be sure all was done as I wanted. After the job was done, Terri gave it a careful final inspection to be sure I was happy. The result is great! Not only is it a great space for cats to get an "outdoor experience" but the deck is now shaded from the afternoon sun and a pleasant place for humans to sit and enjoy the breezes. As a bonus, the room on the west side of the house is also cooler. This is the second enclosed "catio" Terri and her crew have built for me - the first one many years ago which is still going strong and providing secure recreational space for several resident cats. In addition she built a flight cage where wild birds who had been cared for by a rehabilitator could strengthen their wings before being released back into the wild. I realize these projects are a bit out of the ordinary and not your standard kitchen or bathroom remodel but this just shows the many talents these folks can display. I cannot recommend SheCan2 too highly. They are efficient, professional, and they do very good work.

Terri viewed the attic where some structural beams were bowing, and one had cracked/broken. She proposed a repair that involved reinforcing several beams, and adding additional supports. Her crew arrived in a timely fashion, finished the work in one day, and cleaned up. Very good work.

It is all in the details. May I say that again. It is all in the details. Today I went outside to see if SHECan2 had finished the project. They had. Not only had they finished the project, they placed all the patio furniture, and fixed a metal gate that was forever sticking. There work ethic was excellent. Each day they cleaned up after themselves. Terri, Scott and Kim were absolute professionals. Clear communications, attentive to detail, did not try and up sell the job. Would and will be using them again when I am ready to do both bathrooms. Will recommend to friends and family. Thank you all for enhancing my home.
