We, my sister in law, and I, thought it began very well. Terri Harris and Kim were both very nice to work with and Terri was very flexible and accomodated us on the budget we had for this project. We covered the scope of work and agreed on what would take place and when the project would begin. The major concerns we had were that the items we agreed upon were not communicated to the workers. I had to personnally inform the workers on what was to be done. Regarding the workers, other than the tile setter, they did not seem to have Journeyman level skills. Our biggest concern with the workers was their lack of attention to detail, that they always seemed rushed, and that they didn't have customer focus in mind. Housekeeping wasn't a priority with the first crew of workers and they made a mess in the house, in the patio, and didn't bother to vacuum when they were done. From the beginning, there didn't seem to be a commitment to our project as workers were being pulled away for another project. The tile setter was a professional, but again, some of his work had to be redone. Overall we were happy with the finished product but there again we could have all had a lot less aggravation if there would have been a lot more communication to the workers about the work to be done, if the workers had a lot more attention to detail and housekeeping, and if there would have been daily follow up from Terri with the home owner or myself, on the work being done.

We loved their quality. The prices are very reasonable. They are available quite often too.

Terri was great! We are over the road truckers and closed on a house that had horrible carpeting in the living room. She recommended a guy who could refinish the hardwood floors that were under the carpeting. He couldn't schedule the job in before we moved in and so Terri arranged to at least have the carpet pulled up and disposed of before the move....no trace that they had even been there when we moved in. We haven't even received a bill yet. We are anxious to get on w/ more house projects and we will definitely use Terri again.

I was extremely pleased and asked the company to do some more work on my wooden deck (ongoing). We had earlier been in a discussion on a lighting problem, but She recommended that I find another company to do it, since it was not part of a remodeling project. She is very honest and trustworthy, has very moderate fees, works to find the most cost-effective and environmentally sensitive solutions, communicates both by phone and email for any updates in scheduling the work and I thoroughly enjoy working with them!

I called SHECAN2 in approx. May 2010 to request an estimate for a 2-story garage, approx. price range $50,000. I spoke to someone who said she was very busy for the next few days, but would call me back to come out and look at the project and get a copy of the plans. I never got a call back.

They were in charge of the job, but they subcontracted it out. I used them because I actually got to meet the person who was going to do the job. They spent a lot of time explaining things to me. Most of the contractors who come out get very frustrated because I don?t know enough about construction to speak about it intelligently. I also have a lot of questions and so I can be a knowledgeable consumer. However, the people who came out from Shecan2 were really patient and I thought that they were wonderful.

The man showed up right on time; very professional, courteous and efficient. did all the work quickly and well and in good spirits. Superlatives are all I can use to describe this company. I will use them again in a heart beat. They are wonderful!

They do really beautiful work. Their tile guy is an artist. In one area, we had glass tile put in our master bathroom. He realized that the tile would be rough in places if he installed it a certain way, so he let us know and had parts reordered. Their prices were a little bit more than the competition, but it wasn't as much as you would expect. They may take a little time, but they were very meticulous.

I was impressed by the promptness and professional manner of the company from the first call to get an estimate to the final repairs. The gentleman who did the work was meticulous, tidy, and pleasant showing me exactly the work to be done including measures to get an exact match on the final paint. It is impossible to see where any damage was done. Many thanks to SheCan! I will definitely use this company for any needs in the future.

They were great with out timeline. The guy who came out was very nice and got the work done quickly.

The work went smoothly. The workers were efficient and professional. As one worked to remove the gutter from the fascia, the other replaced the siding with the dry rot. By the time Terri came, much of the job had been completed. I have spoken to her several times and she is always cordial and knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with the final result. It was worth the price I paid.

Terri was very accommodating. We went shopping for bathroom fixtures together and brought new fixtures to house. Keith was her reconstruction guy and he was polite, pleasant and incredibly good at clean up at the end of each day. I had to travel through his work area as I was working on another room with my son. He was always willing to stop and let me by. Terri would also come buy everyday at least and do her part of the work. they were a great team and I only wish they did work in my primary home area of Oxnard. They had been working in Sacramento rental property. Great job.

Our bathroom was in the process of 'deconstruction' (toilets & sinks removed) in preparation for new tile and remodel when our tile setter withdrew from the job. We needed immediate action and response from a new contractor. We contacted Terri who came out the next day to evaluate the scope of the job and provide an estimate. 5 days later we received a call from her stating that she was going to begin working on the estimate and that she'd been very busy with other projects. By then we had already found someone else more responsive. Unfortunately, this is an echo of another person's experience.

Fantastic experience. I met Terri at the house for an initial walk-through and estimate, and then we negotiated terms over email. She came back for final measurements and signing of the contract. Work began that same afternoon and was completed in about two weeks.

This was an excellent experience. They arrived on time, two carpenters, as promised. Just as they were arriving, we had a veterinary emergency. We gave them instructions for the installation and left them home alone, with neighbors aware that they were working. They were extremely professional, did excellent work in our absence and were very understanding after we returned from the emergency, which had a sad ending. The flooring job was completed on time with excellent workmanship. They did a great job cleaning up, too. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Very well. We've used this contractor before and they continue to do good work, on budget, and are good to work with.

When Ms. Harris, owner of SheCan2 came for the estimate, she was very honest about the possibility that the sagging ceiling board might be a problem to reattach due to unseeable damage. She gave us a quote for that independent of the molding and base shoe and other work. When she came over for the start of the job, she took us to look at crown molding and base shoe, and helped us coordinate what looked good with the existing trim elsewhere. She did all the work - picked up the molding, primed it, and then came over with her crew, and in ONE DAY installed all the woodwork in both living and dining rooms. It was outstanding! Right at the start, she called to tell us that the ceiling did NOT require extensive repair, so we could drop that part of the estimate. The final result was perfect, and she had worked around two large pieces of furniture we were hoping not to have to move. She did have to return for the plaster patch, but everything else was done that first day. The finished results looked even better than we had hoped, the craftsmanship was superb, and there was no clean up - everything was immaculate, even after the patch job on the plaster. We were simply amazed at both the exceptional quality of the installation and the speed with which the job was completed. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with SheCan2 and Ms. Harris and her crew. They are amazing contractors and delightful people with whom to work. We recommend them enthusiastically!

They did what they agreed to do when they said they would and for the amount contracted. Good to deal with and they didn't "nickel and dime" us.

They were punctual and very responsive. They were really creative and gave lot of good ideas. They tried to save us money and showed what we wanted. Their estimate was very good as well.

Terri arrived right when she said she would and she was very thorough in her examination of the problem and exploring solutions.

Great, I'm very happy with the result

I contacted Terri by email and she scheduled an appointment to do an estimate. She arrived on time and made several suggestions to improve the planned work. We scheduled the work for a week or so later. She and the man who was to do the work arrived as scheduled and he did the work satisfactorily over the next few days. Terri came by a couple of times to check on work progress and came the day after the work was completed to review it with me.

The work was done in the fall of 2008. I lived an hour away and couldn't always be there when I wanted to (and without a working bathroom, not at all). Terri brought in Mark, Ed, Sylvester, and a few others to do the work. The office conversion went very quickly. The bathroom work encountered some personnel issues that delayed things somewhat. Terri herself filled in to get things done. I should say, however, that in spite of this, everyone that I dealt with was very enthusiastic, communicative, skilled, and hard-working. I never felt that things were getting out of control, and the few surprises were not their fault and did not cost much to remedy. Terri also worked with the independent flooring contractor to give him a window when he could repair and refinish my hardwood floors. Throughout all of this, she kept in mind the need to have a working toilet connected whenever possible, and to accommodate my choices and priorities. The work took longer than I had hoped so I had to delay my move a bit, but I don't know whether any other contractor would have gone any faster, and I did not want any shortcuts.
