It was a small job, and it was exactly what she had estimated it would be. She did a good job. She is honest and will do smaller jobs. I would rate her highly and would use her again in the future if necessary.

I live in a remote area where it is often difficult to get contractors or qualified repair people to even come out and provide an estimate. The owner came out (at the agreed date and time!) and provided me with an estimate. I elected to go with SheCan because the estimate was reasonably competitive (and less than the contractors suggested by my insurance company) and because of the reliability of the company when coming out. The actual work occurred at the agreed upon date and time. The work was excellent--no one could tell the corner of the garage had been damaged either from inside or outside. They matched the exterior paint perfectly. The work involved carpentry, painting, metal work with the garage door framing, and a small amount of sheetrock repair. I would recommend SheCan without hesitation and I will use their services again if the need arises.

The boss of SheCan2 was impressive, but she promised much more than she and her workers were able to do. She said they could fix the mortar between the bricks, but clearly they lacked the experience and knowledge to do a satisfactory job. They did a satisfactory job on repairing and repainting the dry rot on the first floor, but they seemed to lack the proper equipment to do the harder to reach places on the second floor. They even had to borrow tools from me and someone who was doing work on a neighbor's house. They could have done a better job of cleaning up debris after they were done. They threw garbage into my recycling bin even though the garbage can was right next to it and clearly marked. The boss said she was going to get back to me about doing some follow-up work that we had discussed, but she failed to do so even after I reminded her. To the boss' credit, she did give me a $200 discount without me having to ask because she recognized that the work that was done was unsatisfactory.

It was a free quote they provided me with. Their bid was outrageous. Their responsiveness was responsive. I would not consider getting another bid from them in the future.

This company is overcharging and does unsatisfactory work. I do not recommend them. This is a house I own in El Dorado Hills and needed Shecan2 to clean and do some repairs before I rented it out to new tenants.. I gave them a list which consisted of minor repairs below: They were to remove listed curtain rods/brackets/repair rods from all rooms in the house and fill/paint nail holes. Install all smoke alarms that were previously removed when I lived there since we had ADT service. To remove items from yard, house, garage (I gave them a list) Dispose of box of used batteries Install cabinet door. They agreed and sent me an estimate stating they charge total $500 per day (with would include supplies) and that it would only take one day for repairs. They sent an invoice for the repairs which consisted of a much higher amount than the estimate stated. I did not expect the cost to be that much higher and when I called and questioned why, I was told it was for an addition worker. It was never mentioned I needed to pay for how many workers were sent to do the work. But I promptly paid the invoice and assumed the work was done. They told me they would contact a cleaning service and then sent us an invoice for that in which we promptly paid. Total costs for repairs for one days work: $885.78 (because of 2 workers) Total costs for the cleaning: $752.00 Now the problems: I have a property manager and he went to inspect the work done and reported that the nails holes that were painted did not match the wall color and was very obvious. He said the entire family room needed to be repainted. He also stated that the cleaning was unsatisfactory and needed additional cleaning. I therefore contacted Shecan2 again and forwarded them my property manager's report. I had no response for several days and when they did respond they said they would take care of it and then sent me an email confirming the rework was completed. I had my property manager re-inspect and still it was unsatisfactory. I had to hire a painter to paint the entire room due to the botched up paint spots. That cost me another $250. Also a cleaning service now needs to do the re-cleaning at an additional charge to me. Since then I have repeatedly send emails and left phones messages for Terri (the owner) to send back the house keys and gate remote so I can give to the property manager for new tenants. I have had no response from them at all for 2 months.

Every part of the job was excellent. Our contract was to do everything necessary for me to go in and just paint and lay down the tile floor and they did just that. Because Terri (owner, SheCAN2) is fully booked all the time it took about 2 months to finally get her in to do the work after her estimate visit. But I can tell you that it was well worth the wait. Care was taken to ensure a normally messy job didn't mess up the remainder of the house. If I hadn't gone into the bathroom to look at the work, I wouldn't have known they had been there. What was left was a fully-cleaned bathroom ready for paint and tile...just as promised. The attention to detail was astonishing. During work, they discovered a leak emanating from my other bathroom which they fixed. Estimate: $4200. Job invoiced at $3650. I paid them and immediately requested a quote on further work in my house, knowing it wouldn't be until September or so before they'd have an opening. Very highly recommended. Let's give her so much work that she needs to expand, because Terri's work ethic and what she demands from her helpers is just what we need from businesses in this area. ...brian

Terry and Steve spent considerable time measuring and thinking of various ways to do the project of demolition and rebuilding. They came up with several scenarios, some of which contained plans for saving money by saving materials from the original stairs. They seemed highly competent but their estimate was so high that although I felt it was probably quite fair it was more than the budget could bear for this project. They are incredibly nice and I would call them in the future without hesitation.

SHEcan2 turned our old dated bathrooms from bathrooms we were ashamed of to bathrooms that we don?t mind who uses them. Here?s our remodel story ... Terri came to our home to do an estimate on May 29, 2011 for new floors in both bathrooms. While doing the estimate Terri had advised us that we would need to do some additional work in the master bathroom as there was water damage in the shower stall. Terri was very patient with us as we asked her about the cost of the ?nice to do? along with the cost of the ?must do?. Terri was very thorough from taking measurements and advising us of the materials that we would need to purchase, where we could go to purchase those materials, and a rough estimate of how much the materials may cost. We had informed Terri of our budget and she had informed us that she could do all of the work including our ?nice to haves?. As we were getting the materials Terri was available via phone or email to provide guidance and answer questions that we had to ensure that what we purchased was correct and would keep us in budget. The work began on June 13, 2011 at approximately 8am. My past experience with contractors is that they do not always show up at the time they say they will. It was a pleasant surprise that Terri and her crew showed up at the promised time. The project was completed on June 28, 2011 which was a couple days over the 10 days that we originally had thought. However, that is fine as there were some extra things that we asked to have done that were not part of the original contract and by no means should be considered a negative. Each day Terri?s crew showed up on time and were courteous, professional, and kept us informed of the progress and what they would try to do the next day. Terri?s crew was so timely that on a couple of occasions they were at our home working before she showed up. Both Terri and her crew take pride in their work and were concerned that we were happy with what we saw. Terri and her crew took two tired and dated bathrooms and giving them a new modern look by replacing the floors, updating the lights, updating the sink and shower fixtures, repainting the cabinets, and updating the cabinet hardware. Both bathrooms look brand new and we can say that we are not ashamed of anyone using either one. Would we hire SHEcan2 for future projects? We can answer that we most definitely will and would recommend them whole heartedly to anyone that needs to have work done on their home.

She was polite on the phone but called after I had already hired someone for the work.

I had a wiring problem that I couldn't figure out. Terri stopped on her way home from work. She figured it out and fixed it so quickly that she didn't charge me. I have more jobs that need to be done around here, and I'll be calling SheCan2 for all of them. Very professional, very pleasant, very highly skilled.

SheCan2 was the only construction firm contacted that was willing to even come out and give a bid on this relatively unique project. Terri, owner, happily provided a short notice bid so that we could get the repair funded at a school event that was happening a few days later. They have worked with our schedule so as to cause no disruption to the school day and have finished up the repairs. We liked them so much we have already scheduled more repair work.

I contacted SheCan2 to give us a bid on a few ideas we had for reconfiguring our laundry room, which is a fairly tight space that could barely fit a new high-end washer and dryer. She was swamped with existing clients but told me she would follow up the next week, which she did. We scheduled an appointment, and she came on time. We walked through various options for our laundry room, and she ultimately recommended that we try moving some stuff around ourselves and live with it for a month or so to see if we liked it. Her Plan A required no work on her part and would save us a lot of money! We ended up taking her advice and are seeing how we like it. While we had her there we also asked her about a couple of other projects, one of which he advised against (given the high cost and the potential for little/no improvement over the current situation) and the other for which she referred us to another specialty contractor that she thought could the do the job most efficiently. We have since contacted the other contractor and have been very pleased! We really appreciated SheCan2's honest assessments and thoughtfulness about our project ideas!

Terri was very clear about what she would repair for what price. She was very honest about what she could foresee and what not. There were a few area's were we needed some more work done then expected and those were easily resolved with a change order. Her price was very reasonable and it was important to her to get things done right...

Contacted SheCan2 by e-mail and the following day, received a detailed and thoughtful response. SheCan2 shared in the e-mail that they did not provide the services requested, but made a recommendation to another specialist who we ultimately worked with and were very pleased with the outcome.

They were pretty good. I was irritated because I wanted a gold or brass faucet. The plumber said they did not make them anymore. He put in an ugly nickel faucet. I found out they do make gold but you have to special order. So I had to buy another faucet and pay him to install again. The owner is really nice and was very accommodating. But I do not think I should not have had to pay for the 2nd installation for the faucet because they fibbed. Sometimes the faucet will have rusty water come out of the faucet. I am not happy about that either. She said she did not know why it was happening. She consulted others with no answers and finally said it was an annoyance I was going to have to live with. I would recommend them. She was nice and came out every time I needed them to and did good work.

I liked them. I would recommend them. If you have any problem with anything, they will fix that. They went over the time that they had estimated but they stayed on the job. I really didn?t complain about it too much. I would use them in the future again.

I had a very short timeline but the owner sent over a fellow who got it finished. They kept in touch, they were pleasant to deal with, and they were very clean. Their honesty is what stood out to me. The price was accessible.

The bid process was very professional with very clear communication -- often by email which I appreciate. The price was very fair although not the lowest bid -- but I believe you get what you pay for and their experience was worth more to me. The work quality was excellent usually and if we asked for improvements, they were done without question. For the most part workers showed up in a timely fashion and worked efficiently. Communication was pretty good throughout the process although it took multiple reminders to have some equipment picked up from my yard. I would definitely recommend them again.

The quote was $1300 to put a baseboard in my hallway, kitchen and my living room. It was high. She was responsive. I would not use her in the future.

We bought our first place - a 25 year old condo with all of the original fixtures, old carpet, and limited storage space. SHECan2 came in, had the lowest bid, and did exactly what we asked. They were punctual, professional, had a well-planned project timeline, and finished everything as promised. We love our updated bathroom, our tile, and our additional storage space. We'll definitely call them again when we're ready to remodel our kitchen!

I emailed SheCan2 from the Angie's List contact. Terri, the owner called me that day and scheduled an appointment for the following day. I asked for an estimate to build a recessed area into the family room for an entertainment center. After Terri looked at the structure, she recommended that the work not be done as it would require expensive exterior and interior work, for little benefit. She suggested we look at a built-in entertainment cabinets and referred us to a cabinet maker that she highly recommends. Terri is very personable and honest. I hope to use her in the future.

The meetings have gone fine, Terri is very practical and appears to be very honest. if she thinks we are wasting our money then she says so. it is quite refreshing. So far she has not seen any reason for her to be involved in this particular project.

Family medical emergency caused me to postpone our appointment.

The project went exactly according to the estimate with one minor exception. The exception was the firm supplying the tile and grout provided bags of grout supposedly the same color. They were not even remotely compatible. Unfortunately the closest replacement was about 200 miles away. Otherwise everything went well. The contractor estimated three weeks and the project took three weeks and one day. This is the second project we have undertaken with this contractor. The first was relatively minor. The workers were all professional and courteous. They went out of their way to ensure that we were satisfied. They even followed up on a minor issue that was not under the purview of the contract. We plan to use them for future work.
