Sam arrived promptly and got to work immediately. Sam is sharp and very easy to work with. He understood the scope of the work right away. Note that I had already purchased the door and had it on-site. I also installed new trim once the door was in and I did the required painting. Sam's important work was to remove the old door and hardware and set the new (framed) door in place, level and secure it, and reinstall door hardware. Sam charges by the hour. Having a handyman quote by the job is OK but in my experience their equivalent hourly rate usually turns out to be much more than Sam charged me. I try to do most of the work around my home but for those jobs that I just don't feel confident in I will be perfectly comfortable calling on Sam.

Sam arrived a little early. He worked on everything. He did a great job. I plan to hire him for more jobs. Thank you Sam!!!

He was great. He was very good. We were not allowed to do over $500 of work and we ended up getting another quote to do the whole fence. Sam the Handyman quoted us about $450. I didn’t talk to him but my husband did and he was very happy with him. We would definitely call him again to do small jobs. I don’t have anything to compare him to.

He was here at 9:00 a.m. as scheduled. He started right away. He worked for 2 hours with no breaks. Thank you Sam!!!

My experience was excellent. He really helped me. He is very reasonable in price. He charges by the hour, so whatever he does is by the hour. He was able to fix something that needed to be fixed from a long time and he was able to do it very quickly. I was very pleased.

He was very friendly and helpful, even though he wasn't able to do a larger job for us. He brought his own vaccum to clean out the fan and gave us advice on how to proceed. The fan is working much better now.

Both jobs went very well. Seems to possess an excellent, overall knowledge of many different areas which will be helpful for use in the future. Big jobs or small jobs, you can count on an honest person who wants to fix things the right way. He was on time, and reasonable. He even loaned me a couple of small tools to finish up my small job the next day. I would definitely recommend this service for ANY work you might have around the house that just needs some "extra" help. I will hang on to his contact information for years to come.

Sam determined the problem we were having with the door bell, purchased a new one, installed it, adjusted settings, etc. He also repaired two toilets. His service was prompt, friendly, and professional. We have found our new handyman! We are both retired and not very handy around the house. Sam the Handyman has helped me to install screen doors. He has helped me repair fences and the gate. Sam the Handyman has helped me with figuring out how to winterize the storage area. Sam the Handyman did a lot. The last time we used his services was about a month ago. He has a senior rate, I'm a senior and I appreciate that. Sam the Handyman was recommended by the local hardware store. As far as his professionalism is concerned, I live alone as a woman and I find it very comfortable with him. He makes you feel safe. Sam the Handyman also has good ideas, when I try to solve a problem, like sometimes I know the problem that I want to solve but I don't know how to solve it. If it's not very straight forward, It's not like just the doors screwed onto the wall, it's like, I'm trying to do this with my thing and blah, blah, blah, and how about should I do that? Sam the Handyman has good ideas and he's done better than if I had tried to figure out myself.

He's always the first person I call when I need something done around the house. He's really honest too. He will tell you right away if he doesn't feel like he will be able to competently complete a particular job. I've used him at several properties too. He's very trustworthy and does not try to take advantage of you at all.
