It was just one of those things where you are driving down the highway and one of those trucks or something drives a pebble and it leaves a little dot on your windshield and everyday you see it grow into a crack. I can say they have been able to fix it without replacing the windshield and another time they replaced the windshield. My wife has used them a couple of times and I have used them once or twice . Sometimes I would have to go to a location here in Sacramento and a couple of times they have come and done the whole thing in our driveway. I think everything is overpriced these days. I could not knock them on price usually it is usually like $200. It was a while ago, I can not think of a reason to ding them at all.

It took about a week before an appointment was possible. The work on the windshield was excellent. On time and professional. I would give them an A except I opted to have them replace my wipers. The wiper blades they installed were useless. I have never experienced so much skipping, scraping and shuddering. The blades were very poor quality and/or very old. I needed to replace them. They also removed the factory windshield wiper frame, so if in the future, I wanted dealer installed wiper blades, I will have an added expense. "A" for the windshield and "F" for the wiper blades.

Looked okay from the outside but you can still clearly see the star pattern left by the rock from the inside of the car. This was an insurance claim so I had no out of pocket expense.

I've used them numerous times. They've always been really good. It went through the insurance company, so I paid a $100 deductible on it. They did a great job, they were very professional. It's an excellent company. They left the vehicle as clean as they found it. They didn't leave any junk around.

Great, no problems. Explained everything and did the replacement very quickly.

All work was completed in a timely manner with a technican who was very nice.

Great. Very accomodating, professional and punctual.

The windshield had to be redone, the first installer did not completely seal the area. The re-install was competed without and issues

I took the vehicle to the dealership for the repair and they contracted the work out to Safelite.

The window does not go up and down like it used to...it works slowly. Also, all of the glass wasn?t cleaned out. It took a while for me to get a hold of someone to come back to do the work. I thought I would get a returned phone call when I called the associated number back 4 times. I did not get a call back and I actually had to call the main number to get another technician.

The technician was friendly and on time.

I made an appointment but they ended up cancelling without telling me. They rescheduled me for a different day and I had to take the car in instead of them coming to me. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

They ordered all the wrong parts and could not fix the car. They did not hook up the rain sensor correctly.

They said they did the repair, but there were still 2 small cracks. They said they would not come back to repair that either.

Safelite Auto glass did my auto glass claim for my windshield. The reason I would give them an F instead of an A is very bad customer service. They did not respond to an email that I had sent. I emailed them a question and that it had failed but there wasn't next steps and they never responded to my email.

I arrived for a scheduled appointment. They did an excellent job, very professional. Will have all my auto glass done by them in the future.

The new window was perfect. Installed perfectly. Done in our driveway in about an hour and a half. responded same day. great jog.

In December 2011, I noticed a crack in my wind shield of my 2006 Mazda 3 and reported this crack to my auto insurance company. They in turn dispatched a Safelite service technician to replace the cracked in the windshield, as it was too damaged to be repaired. Prior to getting started on the job, the Safelite technician invited me to do a walk around my vehicle for a pre-service inspection of my vehicle. We both agreed that other than a small ding on my driver side door, my car was undamaged -- and we both signed a document of testament to this fact. A week later, while driving my vehicle on a rainy day, I discovered that the intermittent wipers did not work and called Safelite to fix the wipers. In January, 2012, a second Safelite technician was dispatched to fix the wipers. Upon completion of that service, the technician called my attention to the wipers he had just repaired, and I noticed, for the first time a large crack in the dashboard. Because that second technician had only made a small adjustment to fix the wipers, I doubted the crack had occurred in the course of his service, and not wanting to jump to conclusions (I was frankly a bit shocked at the discovery), I didn't even mention it to that second technician. But the more I thought about it, the more I was certain it had to be caused by the first Safelite service -- because 1.) it's a fairly significant process removing one windshield and replacing it with another and 2.) as noted, there was NO DAMAGE to my dashboard before the first service. Thereafter, I called Safelite to report my conclusion that the initial technician had damaged the dashboard. From this first report, I would be entangled in a frustrating litany of being referred to this department, that person, one after another. When I finally got a Safelite employee who would engage me and my complaint, rather than acknowledge their technician caused the damage, they instructed me to contact my Mazda dealer to have my car inspected by them. Though I found it ridiculous to involve my dealer, I went along with it, accepting it as a necessary hassle to get Safelite to step up and be responsible. So once I got that written testimony from my dealer that my dashboard damage had nothing to do with documented issues with 2006 Mazda 3 dashboards, I shared that, along with pictures of my damage with Safelite customer support. Weeks passed. And then, finally, I got a call from Safelite in which they informed me that they came to the conclusion that they were in no way responsible for the damage and that they would in no way compensate me for that damage. Over this months-long process, I acquired an estimate for repairing the damage to my dashboard and learned it would cost about $1,500. As of this writing, I'm pretty much at my wits end, and (obviously) no fan of Safelite.

I've been here twice - both times to replace windshields broken by flying rocks on the freeway. They are good to work with - when you call the 800 number, keep asking if there are any other discounts, they'll keep looking. They may have to call the local store, but after doing so they were able to get the price down to about $50 below estimates from other companies. Both times the service was good and job was done in well under the time they estimated. Never fun to need to go see them, but they make an annoying necessity reasonably painless.

The man who worked on my car was kind of shady. It seemed like he did a pretty good job. He was really trying to get me to fill up some forms so he could get high marks and I would get an extra bonus. I did not really like that. That was the day before I went on a road trip. The next day it was raining and water leaked inside the car. I was not too impressed with the service.

The job went very well. They did the work quickly and efficiently. I would recommend them, but they are a little bit more expensive than some of the other places.

I arrived at the scheduled time, but had to wait 20 - 30 minutes. They told me that the repair to a chip (from rock), may or may not stop the chip from expanding to a crack over time. They told me that the chip would most likely be visible after the repair. And it is. I can only assume that it is repaired. This is August in Sacramento. I do not see any changes so far from heat and sun, but I have had chips windshields that took years (without repair) to crack. I am assuming that because my insurance company uses Safelite and I have read other positives that this is a satisfactory job. I thought the crack would go away completely and that would be an A.

I was impressed by my daughter's experience with this company and if I ever get a crack in my windshield, I will call them.
