 + -1 moreI called them and explained that I wanted to find someone who would do "deep cleaning" behind furniture and under beds, in bookcases and display cabinets. Over the phone they said they could do that, but it felt as if the person with whom I spoke was more interested in explaining what "green" products they use rather than in what I was saying. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I agreed to the appointment. They arrived promptly and gave the house a general cleaning. They did not move the furniture, nor did they clean inside bookcases and display cabinets. They did an adequate job, but it was not the job I requested. Nor was it the job I was promised.
Description of Work: Hired them with Angie's List special-price coupon to clean house. They came out and cleaned the house.

Description of Work: California green clean is very professional with great service. The owner is very at tentative. If for any reason there was a change in my service date she is always proactive and very eager to please her clients. On my first service date she personally came with the housekeeper to ensure that she knew exactly what to do and my house looked beautiful. I still use her service and will continue to do so.

 + -1 moreThe young couple borrowed our vacuum to complete the work. They did bring a tray of supplies, but used our paper towels to finish the work. The work itself was Okey. We were just didn't understand why they had come to clean but didn't bring the necessary equipment and supplies.

 + -1 moreThe day after the cleaning my wife and inspected the property and were very disappointed . The cleaning was not very good and several items were not cleaned. I called the office and Martha said that they would send another person out the next day. Also I received a call from the owner , Angela who was upset at the service that we were provided. She assured me that they would make it right. Another person was sent out and did the job to our satisfaction . We will use them again since they backed their work and word .

 + -1 moreThe folks at California Green Cleaners were professional and helpful from my first phone call. My schedule was very tight and they accommodated my special needs. Very easy to work with. The gal that cleaned the house in preparation for our move in did a very good job. A couple of minor areas were missed, thus the "B" for quality, but I would use them again. Also loved that they use environmentally friendly products.

The lady who cleaned our house did an excellent job. The kitchen was spotless. She dusted, cleaned the blinds, and guest bath. It was nice to come home to a clean house. I would definitely use them again

 + -1 moreI phoned to schedule cleaning times and dates, California Green Clean was very patient since I wanted every other week cleaning. The cleaner always asked about any addition areas I wanted cleaned. Her work ethic was great and was always punctual. The steam cleaning in the bathroom and kitchen counters kept them as germ and bacteria free as possible. She always finished cleaning an area before leaving rather than stop right at the end of two hours.

 + -1 moreI needed help getting my house thoroughly cleaned. I researched companies on Angie's List and after reading the reviews I chose Ca. Green Clean. Angela came to my home to discuss her services and approach to cleaning, how she screens her staff, and surpervises the work. She made me feel very comfortable, which mattered a lot - I have never hired anyone to come into my home and help me with cleaning and I was nervous and uncertain. In our first meeting I could tell Angela is a person of integrity. She understood my concerns and immediately started to address them. I have now had three of her employees into my home over the last couple of months, and I can honestly say, each has been better than the last! I have made it challenging with my scheduling requests, but Angela has gone out of her way to make it work for me! She tries hard to match the client with the right staff member and in my case, she has done a wonderful job each time. I have thoroughly enjoyed each one of them and I felt they repected my home and me while they were here. The women that have come to my home are so good at cleaning! They are teaching me many 'tricks of the trade" that I am able to easily use in between their visits to maintain my home. I especially appreciate the use of "green" cleaning products vs. harsh chemicals. I had long known about the many amazing properties of vinegar, but I had not ever put it to work like this before. Who knew it could do so much and dot it so well? I am enjoying coming home each day to a sparkling clean house and knowing that every two weeks it will get another full cleaning by these amazing ladies. I highly recommend this company. They have made me completely comfortable with my decision and the result.

Description of Work: I tried CGC out because they had a best deal out coupon and needed some assistance getting my house ready for some out-of-twon guests. I called to schedule the first appointment and unfortunately the cleaning staff didn't arrive that day. After calling to inquire, I was told there was something wrong with their scheduling "software" or something like that. No big deal, I'm an early planner and always make room in my schedule for things like this. After rescheduling, the assigned staff showed up within the designated arrival time frame. My "deal" was for 4 hours of housecleaning. When I was initially scheduling a time for someone to clean, they asked me about the size of my house. Evidently, my house was bigger than the max that would be required to take 4 hours to clean. So the customer service lady asked if I wanted to purchase more hours to accomodate the larger square footage. Um, no. Since I have no idea on the quality of their work why would I pay more money for it? Would have considered it if it was an option when I was purchasing. The fact they were offering this after the fact didn't appeal to me. Unfortunately, I don't remember the young woman's name who cleaned my house. To her credit, she worked very hard. I certainly did not expect her to clean the entire house in four hours - 2 bathrooms, tidy up a bedroom, sweep the back patio, wipe down our patio table top, vacuum, and tidy up the kitchen is what I asked. My advice to her was to just do what you can and prioritize - for example, leave the stove/oven dirty if you run out of time so start it last. I still appreciated that it's a lot of work. Again, she worked hard and it turned out that she was actually "interviewing" for a position within the CGC - the supervisor (owner?) came over and looked over her work afterward. I would have preferred that she would be supervised the entire time. Not that she wasn't doing a good job, but that she be guided on how to manage her time and not kill herself.

 + -1 moreI called to set up a 4 hour housecleaning from a coupon I found on Angie's List. The service was set up for the following Wednesday. About an hour before the Housecleaner was supposed to arrive I got a call from Luba (manager of the Roseville office) telling me the Housecleaner had to go home sick but she would send 2 other Housecleaners to get the job done quickly since they were going to be late. The two ladies that came did a good job, worked quickly and were professional. I called Luba to set up regular service and I have a Housecleaner come every 4 weeks for 105.00. It is very reasonable and well worth the money.

 + -1 moreMoving out cleaning was done for us by Erica Fernandez. I was so happy that she came and did what was expected from her. Highly recommended. I will definitely ask for her again. She came on time and asked me what my expectations where and she said she will try her best and she did over and beyond expectations. I asked her to clean the two bathrooms, kitchen, the three bedrooms and all ceiling fans (4) and last but not the least dash boards. I also asked to clean the window sills. After 4 hours the house was immaculate !!! I am so glad I called and asked for their service as they did meet my expectations. For those who are thinking about getting help for their house cleaning needs. I suggest you go with this company. They are reliable and goes beyond expectations.  + -1 moreThey were great people, very nice, punctual, friendly. I liked everyone I interacted with from the company, so that aspect was nice. The quality of the work, however, was so-so. Not bad. Did some good, but not great. Hired them to help clean a rental I own, ended up going back in myself to finish up. That said, I've actually found a maid service one of the hardest slots to fill in terms of finding someone really good. At this point, I'm mainly cleaning the rentals myself and hiring people to do painting and construction, even though some of that stuff I know how to do myself. Maybe my standards are high, but find it easiest just to do most of the cleaning myself.
Description of Work: Hired them to help clean a rental unit I purchased which had been empty and not cared for for months.

A woman (sorry, I don't remember her name right now) showed up on time with all the necessary equipment and started in the master bathroom.? It needed a lot more work than was obvious since the beige shower pan turned white when she started scrubbing it!? She methodically worked her way through the master bath, hall bath, and downstairs guest bath, giving me hints for dealing with hard water stains and other cleaning issues along the way.? The three bathrooms took over 3 hours so she spent the balance of the time cleaning out the worst of the kitchen cabinets and appliances.? I would not have been able to do everything she did as well as she did it in that time.? I was able to move into the house shortly after that knowing that the most important rooms were clean.
