Our HVAC system was 23 years old and needed replacement. The master bedroom over the garage was very hot in summer, even with the AC running full blast. We called 2 A-rated Angie's List companies and got estimates. The first company overwhelmed us with HVAC technobabble. The second company seemed to do very little analysis and badmouthed the first company. We weren't happy with either company. Next, we got a referral from a friend for RJA Heating & Air. This friend had been using them for 20 years. Jim Schilling, Service Manager, came to our house. He made an assessment of our needs and explained it in an understandable way. RJA's price was also very competitive. We were much happier with RJA than the other 2 companies, so we gave RJA the job. Their crew removed the old HVAC on day 1, installed the new HVAC on day 2 and did adjustments to make everything right on day 3. The crew was great -- friendly, efficient and cleaned up at the end of each day. The new system works great. The master bedroom is now as cool as we want on hot days. We've had the heat on for a week and that is working well, too. RJA did a great job for us and we are very happy we chose them.

It was outstanding, it was better than I could of hoped for. We got top of the line unit, it felt like they were working on there own home. They were on time and prompt. I know they did amazing because I use to work on heating and A/C units myself, and everything I saw was outstanding.

We are so happy we stumbled upon RJA Heating and Air. We called them by accident thinking they were another company. The first visit was for an AC tune-up. We have just purchased our home in "as-in" condition and the AC worked well but had a rattle. The technician was courteous and friendly. He took a lot of time explaining the unit to us and what he was doing to fine tune it. Unfortunately, the unit gave out two days later which left us with a very hot Sunday. He arrived back promptly Monday morning quite concerned and discovered it had been a fuse issue and not the unit itself. He was very thorough and even replaced a part at no charge to us. That same morning a two-man crew arrived to put two new vents in the master bedroom. Again, they were very courteous and friendly. It was a thankless job having to crawl under the house, however, they did a great job. They even checked every vent in the house and sealed them if needed. Apparently we had been cooling under our house quite nicely. All in all, we are so happy to have found a heating and air conditioning company we feel we can trust. We will definitely call them when we need work done.

They did an excellent job. We asked them to come out to figure out why we were getting virtually no heat on one side of our house. They diagnosed the problem and made the repairs. Now, not only do we get great heat on the far side of our house, but the whole house is now much better. They were easy to work with and their pricing was significantly below other estimates we had.
