R & S Doors & Gates

I've used them several times before, they were good, so I called them again to repair a metal driveway gate of our apartments. They came out, stayed about 20 minutes, installed their sign on the gate, and billed me $320 (about $15 a MINUTE), left and emailed me an estimate of $3800. I got another fellow to do it, $180. I'll NEVER call R&S again!

An estimate was given at the site and the part ordered. The installer called me to indicate the part had arrived and scheduled an appointment for the following day to replace. The installer arrived as scheduled and replaced the part satisfactory and operates well.

We had a great experience with R&S. They were on time and the price ended up being a bit cheaper than the estimate. The original guy scheduled to come out was sick, so the manager filled in for him. The work went quickly. He did an inspection and minor maintenance on our garage door at no extra cost.

The service technician was on time; quickly asses the situation and resolved the problem. He also oiled the hinges and secured a loose cable at no extra charge.

Called them late afternoon; they gave me a firm quote over the phone explaining how much of the quote was the increase was for out of hours service. Turned up within 30 minutes. Fixed the door: No mess, No problems, working door.

I had a very good experience with this company. The first thing that comes to my mind is integrity, something they had in abundance. Also, they were very energetic when going about the work, being sure to cover all minor details (very thorough) with us before he even started the work. I definitely would not have thought of everything he mentioned, and it was extremely helpful. They were a breath of fresh air, and we were extremely satisfied with the result of their work.
