+ 2 moreOn the 11th I sent him an email asking if he had my estimate for the bathroom work I needed done. He replied on the 12th of March that he did not, but would have it later that day. He sent me an email later that day stating that there were too many obstacles preventing his estimate from being completed and that he would work on the estimate later that night and get back with me. On the 13th I received another email giving me more excuses and apologizing for not finishing my estimate and once again stating he would have it completed and sent later that day. On the 20th, I recieved another email again apologizing for not getting my estimate to me. He stated that he had been too busy and away from the office in order to complete the estimate and inquired as to whether or not I was still interested in receiving the estimate. I did not reply.
Description of Work: I called him out to give me an estimate for some bathroom remodeling job.

+ 2 moreI bought a rental property in Sacramento in and quot;as-isand quot; condition. Going into the deal I knew I would need a bathroom remodel. Allard came out and gave a very competitive estimate. I decided to go with him for the job and the bathroom came out looking gorgeous. This is a guy who really pays attention to detail and takes pride in his work. He's not interested in cutting corners, and that's exactly the type of contractor I need. During the bathroom remodel my tenants had some unrelated AC issues. Allard managed to install a window unit and through-the-wall AC unit while all the bathroom stuff was going on. What a lifesaver - seriously. I will definitely be using him in the future.
Description of Work: Allard did a bathroom remodel for me at a rental property in Sacramento. It involved replacing some rotted out flooring and subflooring, plumbing, putting in a new bathtub, toilet, vanity, vinyl, baseboard, and accessories.

+ -1 moreAllard arrived on time for the estimate appointment and provided a thorough estimate within 48 hours of the initial visit to our house. His estimate was very reasonable compared to other estimates we received and he gave a detailed timeline of when each portion of the project would be finished and the amount due at each step. He worked well with our renters and they felt comfortable with him in the house doing the work. Excellent quality work and even finished slightly ahead of schedule. Would definitely use him again in the future.
Description of Work: Bathroom had an electrical fire and was gutted by a different company prior to work being started. Job included installation of vent fan/light, fiberglass ceiling insulation installation, replacing ceiling and wall drywall including taping, texturing, and paining, intstallation of new vanity, replacement of bathroom sink faucets and drain and hook-up of water, resetting toilet, replacing medicine cabinet, installation of light fixture, cutting mirror to new size, installation of linoleum, patching of crack in shower
