OVERHEAD DOOR CO OF SACRAMENTO INC

My garage door and opener were almost 40 years old and in need of replacement. My initial contact with Overhead Door of Sacramento was at the home and garden show in early 2023. They offered me the home show price even though the estimate I got was in July. Zach came out and took all measurements, discussed options, and stayed in touch as I asked questions. The installation went very smoothly overall, and the unit runs very quietly. I'm glad I chose Overhead Door based on their experience, reputation, and customer service and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

A week after installation, the door came down on my car without any action on my part. The result was damage to car spoiler and two panels of garage door. My efforts to contact the appropriate person at the company to discuss the problem, but only resulted in the run around. After several attempts, I contacted owner, David Leesha to seek compensation for damages. Owner came out corrected wires that were dangling, and tested the door opener. He could not identify source of problem and refused responsibility for damages. Following additional discussion, Mr. Leesha offered to compensate me for the garage door, but not to my car. Although he stated that the offer was one of goodwill, I felt that his offer was acknowledgement of fault. I accepted his offer, filed a claim with my auto insurance and paid my deductible. Because I did nothing to cause the door to close, I feel that the damages were due to either improper installation or malfunction of the opener. Good luck if you hire this company.

I highly recommend the Sac Overhead Door Co. When we bought our house, it came with the door they had installed when new and we have used them for service calls over the years. They have proven to be TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL AND RELIABLE AND TOTALLY TRUSTWORTHY. They work with you to see if the job might be covered by warranty. If not, they don't take advantage but their charge is reasonable. I highly recommend.

There are other companies that play on their name but this is the original overhead company. I paid a little extra to get a special door. There was a mistake on the national organization side. Zach went above and beyond to have it fix e d and worked with the factory to have a custom panel made for us. I cannot say enough about them, the employees, and the quality of the work. You get what you pay for. Dont be fooled by others. I am an average customer. I just feel strongly about the work these people did for me. They are great

Quote process was efficient. Doors took a little time to get in to the dealer. Install went smooth. New doors/openers are very nice quiet.

They were skillful when they straightened the track. I think another company would want to replace the track, not just fix it. They did a really good job, and I liked the people they sent out. They were very reasonable. I remember it was a good experience. They didn't overcharge, or replace unnecessary parts. I have not had any trouble with my garage doors since. I would use them again if I needed to. However, that are sort of far away from me. I'm not sure if they will come all the way out here. The insurance paid for a big portion of the repair.

We had a certain kind of garage door and they were the only place that would do it. They were great and they did everything they promised. They gave us a good deal. We have a 3-car garage and they put a new part on the unaffected garage door. Everything they did was excellent.

I thought the whole unit would have to be replaced because I had previously had the belt tightened. After checking over the system thoroughly, they advised there was no need to replace the unit (saving me $$). They made some adjustments and I requested new remotes. The individual was professional and extremely helpful.

The company representative met me for measuring and estimating at our scheduled time. I reviewed and selected all of the products needed and agreed to a price. No contract, just pay them when the work is done. It took a couple of weeks to get the door I wanted because they didn't have the color I wanted in stock. When the door arrived, they scheduled the installation with me. On the day the work was done, they arrived on time and were gone in less than 2.5 hours. The work was excellent. Everything fits and works great. I'm very happy with the product and the service.

The process was very smooth and professional. I called on a Saturday and was able to make an appt. at my convenience. They said they'd call between 6:30am and 7:30am the day of the appt to give me a 2 hour window. They called at 7:00am and said the technician would be there between 11 and 1. He showed up at 11:15am. He installed the garage door opener and left me written instructions on how to program my car to open the door (I didn't have the car at home). He was professional and neat and his written instructions were clear. It was a good experience.

I called for a price. The estimator met me at the site as scheduled. The bid arrived in the mail as agreed 3 days later. The proposal included copies of their workman's comp coverage I had requested. I signed the proposal, and the door was ordered. It arrived within the time estimated. The installation was scheduled immediately thereafter. Two employees of the company (not subs) came out and completed the installation in three hours or so. Both were pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. The door works as desired, and I am pleased.

Called on a Wednesday afternoon to schedule an installation and they were able to send someone the very next day. Very punctual. Said they'd call between 6:30 and 7:30 am to schedule the exact time. Called at 7 and scheduled work to be done between noon and 3. Came at 12:15. Very pleased with the service. A new unit was installed in a little over an hour!! Very fast and no mess leftover. I'm a pleased customer.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB INSTALLING MY DOOR AND OPENER. THEY DID IT IN A VERY SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. THEY ALSO GAVE ME A DISCOUNT BECAUSE I WAS HAVING BOTH THINGS INSTALLED.

IT TURNED OUT THAT WE NEEDED A NEW GARGAGE DOOR OPENER AND SPRING MECHANISM. THEY ORDERED THE PARTS AND HAD THE GARAGE UP AND RUNNING WITHIN 24 HOURS.
