They were fabulous and did a great job. He was very professional and prompt. I was kinda surprised that he had someone else come to do the installation, it looked like a subcontractor but he did a great job. Everything worked out great and I don't have any complaints about it.

Paul was easy to work with, provided us with lots of options for doors and hardware. The installation was excellent, no detail was overlooked. It took awhile for Paul to get the new correct lock from the hardware supplier. Paul wrote numerous emails, placed several orders and phone calls, his persistence paid off, got lock installed has been working well ever since.

Randy came out with the doors and did the actual install. Real nice guy. Towards the end of the project, I noticed the hinges were a different color than I had asked for. Randy reacted just the way a pro should - he said not to worry and he would call Paul to verify. Paul agreed the hinge color was wrong, and Randy went back to HQ and got the right hinges. Never a word of complaint and certainly no mention of additional cost. We all know there are some businesses that would have tried to force me to accept the wrong materials - or worse yet, to pay extra to get what I had originally ordered. But that's not how these guys roll. The quality of Randy's work was outstanding, and next time I need door help, I know exactly who to call...

During the holidays we were able to schedule a quick appt to select the proper door and provide a cost estimate. Quickly scheduled the materials and arrived punctually to install the door. Very professional owner and crew. We were very satisfied with the work.

In April of last year I had my house broken into. The intruder kicked in my front door, causing no damage to the sturdy door, only the door frame. I contacted OMG per AL recommendations and was extremely pleased with the responsiveness and sensitivity to help me in this upsetting situation. The quote was reasonable, parts ordered and the repairs were scheduled within a couple days. In the process I learned that door frames are often not installed to code; and, therefore, cannot withstand a good kick, making this a not uncommon mode of entry for burglars. And I was SO impressed with the craftsmanship of the door repair. I cant say enough about this. I am very pleased!

The bottom of a front entry door was damaged and a reasonable estimate was given a few hours after calling. The next day, the door was taken to their facility, glued and returned in five hours. Not only was the door repaired and replaced on its hinges, but about an hour was spent adjusting both doors. If you have problems with doors, OMG is highly recommended.

Paul Nuzman, owner of OMG Diversified Doors & Locks, saved the day for us. We live in a 103-year old home with all the usual problems associated with an older home. We had previously hired another contractor to install weather stripping around our front door--what a mess!! Couldn't open or close the door unless you had the strength of Superman. Then searching through Angie's List (which we should have done in the first place) we found OMG Door. We called Paul and explained the situation to him. He was working in the area so he came over the same day to give us an estimate. Paul's knowledge of older doors was amazing. He explained to us what needed to be done to correct the problem. Although we thought the price was a tad high, we realized any work done on an older home requires a person with much more skill so we set up a date for the work to be done. Randy, Paul's associate, who also was very knowledgeable about older doors, was very pleasant to work with. He arrived on time and proceeded to fix the door right away. Before he could begin to install the weather stripping, he had to remove all the other weather stripping. The job took approxiately three hours to complete. While he was at our home he gave us a great "education" on older doors, including the anticipated life span remaining on our door! We were very satisfied with OMG Doors and would definitely hire them again as well as recommend them to anyone with any type of door/lock problem.

We initially contacted OMG for information only and Paul was of great help getting us booklets and other materials to help us decide what type of door and door system we wanted. We made a number of selections over a period of about two weeks and Paul provided us estimates each time. He was very patient and helpful throughout the entire process. We had looked at many doors/systems from a number of service providers and OMG was among the least expensive while still providing a good quality product so my wife and I decided what we wanted and moved ahead with OMG. We are very glad we did. The day of the install, Randy came out and was very careful to make sure everything was perfect or as close to perfect as conditions would allow. He took his time and was very thorough throughout the entire install and the door looks great! Our home is new to us and we will need to eventually replace all our doors: we will definitely be using OMG again.

In retrospect , this is actually the third time since the late 90's that we have used OMG. Each time for different purposes (new locks or door repairs), relatively small jobs. However, the lock issues were critically important as they involved home security. And each time the job was done well and very fairly priced. This time we actually were thinking of replacing the front doors. Besides a malfunctioning deadbolt we had a very poorly sealed door as a result of work done by a handyman who replaced old hinges that had been painted over and when he re-hung the door (using different screws), the seals all came apart and the frame was all distorted. We got other handymen to try to repair the problem several times. I tried also. Each time without success. When the owner of OMG (Paul) evaluated the job he gave me a price for the repair. He did caution us about the sealing process of our old doors which sometimes proves difficult to remove all cracks of light (and heat loss) on a set of double doors that had been "repaired" numerous times by others. But we still wanted to consider replacing the doors rather than trying to fix them again after so many others had failed. So at our request he left us manufacturer books for new doors and hardware. After careful consideration we decided to go with the repair, instead of the big expense of new double doors, and could not be happier. After the residential door & lock tech (Randy) worked on the front doors, they appeared perfect. However, that evening the outside chandelier, which was blocking the sunlight during the day, shone its light through at night. It was an imperfection in the frame that allowed the light through. It was a small detail. So I was a bit reluctant to ask them to return to work on something I didn't discover till later. Nevertheless, I called Paul and told him that neither I nor Randy could have possibly seen this during the day and asked him to just come back whenever it was convenient the next time they were working in my neighborhood to see if this also could be sealed. Paul said, "No". He indicated that if we don't schedule a specific date, he could easily forget about it and it may never be done. Randy came back as scheduled a few days later and completely sealed the aging double front doors. The detail work he did in correcting the mess created by other workers was perfect. The same for the security enhancement on the side garage door where the frame was so distorted that the tongues of the locks were barely engaging the frame. My only regret is that I didn't use OMG as part of our interior remodel where we replaced almost all the interior doors simply for cosmetic updating. That was my oversight at the time. I simply forgot about him when I was searching for "door remodels" on the internet. I re-discovered him again when I recently joined Angie's List and am glad I did.

OUTSTANDING! This was a large project that spread periodically between July and September 2013 because the merchandise was ordered through various vendors. Initially, I met with the company owner, Paul Nuzman, a gentleman and expert in his trade of installling and repairing doors and locks. I told him I was interested in a high quality wood, front door and doorknobs. My house was built in 1949, and the front door and most of the door knobs are original pieces. Paul made excellent suggestions yet was never overbearing in his recommendations. His major goal was to give me a high quality door, front and back door lock sets, and door knobs that complemented the age and style of my house. I was very pleased with the choices made. Once the selections were made and delievered, Paul's associate, Randy Moser, single-handedly did the installation work. Randy is exceptionally detailed, precise, and takes great pride in his work. He is a perfectionist and artist in his trade. I am so incredibly pleased with Paul and Randy's work. My house sparkles with the new door and door knobs, and these high end materials and craftsmanship certainly give it a touch of class. I recommend OMG without reservation!

I contacted OMG doors at the end of June regarding a broken handle on my slider through their website. At first I was quite pleased as I had a call shortly after and he was able to go to the residence to look at the problem. He told me I needed a new handle and that it was a "unique" one. He said he would look around for a replacement and asked that I text him pictures of the old handle. On July 3rd I sent pictures, but had no response. On July 15th I texted him again, no response. I emailed him through his website again, no response. I left a message the week of August 25th, no response. I finally gave up and called someone else on Angie's list. Within 24 hours not only did the new person I tried diagnose the problem, they had a replacement handle installed and done the next day (See review for Any Kind of Door). Seems not to have been that hard to find and replace. I am extremely disappoint with OMG doors and will not use or recommend them. The lack of response and follow up for what was good reviews in Angie's list is very disappointing and Paul was unable or not interested in fixing my problem, it only takes a quick text or phone call back to let a customer know.

All was excellent and would definitely use again.

Mr. Nuzman called me and said, "He was in my area and would drop by to evaluate my problem. He came and told me my door was repairable and told me the cost and agreed. He was very polite and courteous. He fixed my door better than before it fell off it's hinges. I will uses his services again in the future.

First, overall impression is good. I'll let you know as the projects move forward.

Came out a little late but did explain why and wasn't an issue for me at all, just saying. Extremely nice and professional. Had one of his crew members come out a few hrs later and install the door. Looks good and appreciate the work. I would use them again in a heartbeat. If your looking for a quick good job definitely consider these guys

I called 3 places to give me bids on the work. Paul was the only one to respond. When we met with him and listened to him talk about "craftmanship" and pride in his work, we new he was the man for the job. We have 3 houses in the neighborhood that were all built in the 1970's. They are tract homes and thrown up pretty fast. Doorways are not level and other problems. Paul had his worker rebuild our door frames, hang all the doors, install doorknobs and locks and clean up after completion. The work was well done and we are extremely pleased. They did such a wonderful job and it was an absolute pleasure doing business with them. If you ever need a new door, call Paul and give him a chance to show you what pride in workmanship is all about. We plan to have him back out to replace our front door and screen.

I had OMG install doors before, for which I rated them A. So I called again to replace the remaining doors in my house. They installed 6 solid core bedroom and bathroom doors and 10 hollow core bypass closet doors. Paul was consistently 20 minutes to a half-hour late for each appointment. That does not bother me because it is typical of the average contractor, misjudging traffic, misjudging prep time at the shop, etc. I mention it in case it does bother any reader of this review. They did the install in one day, a very long day. The result was good. Better than the average contractor I think. This is a tough rating for me to give because on the one hand they had to do extra work straightening existing frames enough to make the doors work, which they not charge extra for. I think the average contractor takes every opportunity to run up the price once the job has started. OMG did not, which is great. On the other hand the final result was not as good as the first time they installed doors for me. The hinge side of 4 doors was touching the frame in places, probably due to out of square frames in my older home. The doors worked so it was not a big deal. The two doors that were clear of the frame had been shimmed at the hinge to make a separation from the frame. I think they just ran out of time to shim them all because they tried to do too much in one day. I am sure that if I called they would have come back and shimmed the other doors. It was not that big a deal so I shimmed them myself. It only took about 45 minutes. I think they did a better than average job, but not as good as the first time I had them install doors, so I rated them a B rather than an A.

I attempted to call this company to request pricing on screen door replacement after seeing another users review saying they fixed one recently. The first response I received was "Your trying to get a screen door replaced on Sunday a couple days before Christmas huh?" Uhm I'm trying to find someone that can do this and not act like me trying to give him my business is bothering him by calling the business phone listed here in the middle of the day to ask if they perform a service... Merry Christmas to you to buddy!

They did a good job. Getting things organized with him was difficult at first but everything worked.

Paul was willing to help me seal my front door until I have the opportunity to have the entire door replaced. Original installation was not done properly and it will eventually need to be redone. The door was installed so poorly that there were gaps all over where someone can see daylight! It was also sagging to one side. They were able to work within my budget to get the door completely rehung and sealed. It is quiet and not one ounce of air comes through!

My daughter's townhouse was broken into last Spring while she was at work 30 miles away and unable to respond immediately. I browsed Angie's list and found OMG. She was quite surprised at how responsive the proprietor was. By 10:00 PM he had made temporary repairs to secure that entrance, and the next day replaced both the door and the damaged jamb. He even arranged for a painter at a reduced rate. To a young, single, working girl, his services were a God-send. To a worried father whose kid lives in a downtown neighborhood, OMG's exemplary response, reasonable costs, and thorough work restored peace of mind. I might add that Mr. Nuzman is a most personable and professional craftsman.

My experience just in getting advice and the estimate was wonderful. And I could tell his knowledge of the door business and feel confident that he will do a good job.

I called OMG because I was looking to install a custom-sized security door in a tough location, and I've had a tough time getting someone who knew how to do it. I explained the problem I had, and he went over the different options with me on the phone. It was clear to me that he knew what he was talking about, but he explained that he didn't want to do the job because although he could do it, he thought it would ultimately be better and cheaper for me to go with companies that specialize in custom work of that type (and he gave me a couple of recommendations). He was very helpful, and I was really impressed that he turned down the work and referred me to other people who he thought would be a better fit for the job -- wouldn't it be great if all contractors did that!! I was impressed by that kind of professionalism, and would definitely hire him in the future if I needed door work of a more standard nature.

We was prompt, professional, and hard working. He did a great job to remove existing door, including splitting wood frame and did not disturb the stucco surrounding the door. He worked very hard to make the door fit well for the opening and reinforce the door. In addition, they replaced two boards that had dry rot around the motorized garage door opening. He was pleasant to work with, very polite and a pleasure to meet. He was very receptive to my questions, and even gave me good advise about the primer and paint to do on the door. I would highly recommend them again, and expect we will be using them in the future as our house needs some additional doors in the future.
