We were assigned this company after contacting our home warranty company. They didn't complete the work the first time as they were suppose to evaluate both hot water heaters. After 3 separate appointments the problem was worse. Initially you could light the pilot, but it wouldn't stay lit. At the end of 3 appointments, now the pilot won't light at all. The tech kept saying, "if that doesn't fix it, it has to be the other thing". Apparently they don't diagnose, they just keep replacing parts until it starts working. Well, they replaced parts until it was un-repairable. Then they said the warranty company didn't want to replace the unit. I called the manager and he was hostile and rude. He couldn't have cared less that taking off work on 3 occasions to have the situation get worse was irritating to me. After this experience I checked the reviews and find we are not alone. Bad reviews on Angie's list and terrible reviews on Yelp. Note to self....next time the home warranty company wants to send someone, delay until you can check the competence of that company.

He hooked the cold water up to the hot water and vise versa in the shower, he also left a leak under the house. He was not very respectful, and charged a lot of money. The water lines are still switched as of today. Tried to get other plumbers to fix it but have encountered problems.

Home warranty company selected MSE to install new water heater. MSE came out to assess situation and didn't seem thrilled that water heater was still under manufacturer warranty, saying it requires a lot of extra work for which they don't get paid. The next day, home warranty assigned me to another plumbing company. They'd been told MSE couldn't handle manufacturer warranty situations. Second plumber came out and said it made no sense for MSE to have said that, they were likely trying to avoid taking the job. Next I knew, MSE was reassigned the case. MSE said manufacturer didn't have a current model narrow enough for my closet, I would have to have a framer expand the closet. When I asked about getting payout to buy another brand that would fit, I was told to call manufacturer myself. Manufacturer said there IS a model that would fit, but MSE insisted it did not meet requirements. I played go-between for a week until MSE realized the model would work. Ultimately, what should have been two weeks without hot water (because of damage caused by the leak) became four weeks because of MSE's poor communication with manufacturer and MSE's delays in getting back to me to answer my questions. The work, once actually done, seems to have been done satisfactorily. Perhaps someone whose water heater is not under manufacturer warranty would have a positive experience with MSE, I can only report on my experience.

Scheduling was great, they came out the day after I called. I was very pleased with their service.
