Complete confidence in gutter cleaning and assurance the downspouts are all clear and draining properly. I was a little skeptical about having someone on my tile roof and had originally contracted with Sparkling Window & Gutter Cleaning to clean my gutters using a ladder from off the roof. After meeting with the technician (Rafael) and discussing his past experiences working on a tile roof, I was convinced that he could do the job properly and better working on the roof in lieu of the ladder. I was not disappointed! I scheduled next yearâ s cleaning for the same day next December.

Although the phone quote was $150, that blew me away to start with, as soon as the guy got here, he said it would be an additional $40 to blow off the roof. I paid for it because I needed it done right then, the weather was calling for a big storm coming in. I also thought while he was cleaning the gutters, I could go about my business to take the dogs for a 10-minute walk and do some housecleaning, but he said if I wanted to make sure it was done right, I needed to stand out there and watch him. What the hell? I will definitely keep looking for someone to hire next year. I did not know until days later, the mess I would have to clean up in my back yard and leaves still built up on the front porch joint. Theres no doubt in my mind that I will be able to find someone much less expensive that will probably even do a much better job. Also when I asked online, what I could expect to pay to have my gutters cleaned for my small 1000 sq ft house, it quoted $40-$80. I am a 67-year-old woman and have climbed up on my roof and cleaned my gutters myself until this year. Hiring someone was a very challenging experience for me.

Our technician Bill did a fantastic job. He immediately let us know he had arrived and was ready to go to work. He took complete charge of cleaning my gutters (and keeping me off the two story roof, IAW my wifeâ  s instructions). After our walk around review, he set up two ladders that were perfect for getting on our 1st and 2d story roofs. He explained everything he was going to do and how he was going to perform the work and what he expected us to see when the job was done. He wanted me to watch his work (safely from ground level). He completed his work safely without any difficulty. The charge for work was exactly as was stated. If I needed to rate him on a 1 to 10 (highest) rating he would receive a 10 ++ from me. I was very glad to have such a highly personable, qualified and happy person to do (work my wife did not want me to do and which I was dreading). Thanks Bill snd the Millerâ  s Sparkling Company.
