Description of Work: They tried for days to fix my microwave, even though it exploded, and the likelihood of repair was remote. When they could not fix it, they did NOT charge me, in spite of all the time they put into it. They also called around to find me a microwave that fit my need, which wasn't easy because it was a built-in and required an older model.

Description of Work: Repaired Dacor cook-top faulty igniters. Technician was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. I have used them in the past the repaired an in-oven micro wave, and another time recommended an other service which specialized in my issue. I think of Microwave and Appliance Repair first when I have an appliance problem and recommend them to my neighbors.

Description of Work: Called this company becuase they were an authorized dealer by "Insinkerator". My brand new disposal was leaking water from the bottom. I called this company to have it fixed and/or a new one. The woman on the phone took my info and said we will call you in a week with a new disposal for install. NO MENTION OF PRICE! Tech showed up (without calling ahead of time like I asked) and proceeded to tighten disposal a 1/4 of a inch and said "ok, its fixed, just wasn't on tight enough". He then casually says that'll be $68, Im not charging for labor. He was in my home for a total of 12 minutes. 11 minutes was talking. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

+ 0 moreThe repair person spent 15 minutes from the time he walked in the front door until he walked out having finished the job. I was charged $58 in labor plus a $68 service charge. I understand labor and service costs, but these charges seem excessive for the amount of work actually performed. I will not use this company agian and will not recommend them to my friends.

+ -1 moreWe were very pleased that they would come out and also that they ordered the part first and brought it with them so there was only one service call. He said they always do that so they can see immediately if that is indeed the problem. They ordered the part and then called to let us know they would be out between 9 and 1. He was here shortly after 9.
Description of Work: This work was performed under warranty so it only cost us $50.00 but the total bill was $255.24. They made a service call to us since the microwave was built in. Part - 131.99, service call 65.00, labor (flat rate) 48.00. He replaced the defective part and it works perfectly.
