Description of Work: After having them install two air conditioning units for our home, we signed up with a 'twice yearly check-up' contract with them.

Description of Work: They replaced old water pipes under my house. Tested everything afterwards and it worked perfectly. I have used them for several years and would highly recommend their service. This was an all day job. They arrived promptly (8:30 am) and finished up by 4 pm.

Description of Work: Request a check of a/c unit since it was not running. Tech came out to assess problem. Unit just old (23 yrs old). Made appt with their rep. He came out and went over paperwork. Contracted with McDonald's for installation of new hvac system. Installation went smooth. But, I never saw the rep again. Not around for installation. Also, we did not compare costs with any other businesses. Just needed ac fixed.

Description of Work: Cleaned out main sewer line of roots. Sold me chemical root killer to control roots. I was pleased with the service. Called another plumber and never heard from them. Mcdonald's had someone to answer phones and schedule appointments. Called when original appointment couldn't be kept because previous job on another property turned out to be a bigger job than they expected. They rescheduled another plumber to arrive slightly later. They managed their resources well.

Description of Work: this deal on angies list is a smoke screen for fishing for a bigger job only. guy who visited was not interested in performing the service that was bought from AL. He started off with fear mongering tactics abt how my stuff at home was about to go bad. When asked about prices for a replacement heater, his estimates were so high that it is a shame to even mention that. Total rip off guys. Finally I asked for a quote for replacement of 3 bathroom faucets... that was $1200. $1200 for faucet replacement? This is outrageous. Most deals of AL are fake from my experience and they are only there to fish for a bigger ticket item whether u need it or not. I dont think I'd trust buying deals from AL anymore.

Description of Work: We have also signed up for semi-annual 'maintenance program' service with them. Jennifer from their office calls us to remind us when it's time for our semi-annual HVAC service. They are very professional and courteous.

Description of Work: Replaced 20+ yrs old a.c. and furnace with followup inspection of both units. Installation and service went as expected. They will also install necessary fire & carbon alarms in all rooms as required. Required permit was obtained and cleared by bldg inspector.

Description of Work: Checked the air filters- read temp at each register. Exterior- checked out AC Compressor and duct work under the subfloor. The tech attached his gauges to see if the unit was low on Freon- which it was. Freon was added to the system- causing the cool air to drop 10 degrees at the supply registers. Description of Work: McDonald Plumbing located the source of a water leak and repaired it. The leak was under a sidewalk, but Eduardo was able to dig under the concrete and do the repair under very awkward conditions, saving me the cost of tearing out concrete to do the repair. The job was expensive, but it would have been more expensive to remove/replace concrete.

Description of Work: McDonald's installed my heating and air system about 6 years ago and do twice a year service. They have had different servicemen, some have been better than others, the last one named Alex was great. MacDonald's also fixed a pluming problem when a water heater that was poorly installed by another company leaked. The job was well done. When the city inspector came to inspect the installation of my heating and air he said he never worries when McDonald's does the job as they always do a good job.

Description of Work: I am updating my review. I had a poor experience with the first technician that was sent to my home. However, I notified the company and they were very responsive, and sent out a new plumber and assistant to redo the water heater flush and plumbing check. I haven't received my quote for a new water heater yet. However, the only complaint I have is that they would not break down the cost of the water heater and the labor.
