Description of Work: Installed a new air conditioner and furnace. Felt they did not do a complete job. After installing, I had to have them come back out, no air to upstairs. Went under house and discovered a duct with large hole in it, they fixed it at another charge. They never checked the ducts under the house that I know of. I won at the fair a new furnace from them, but I still had to pay for a furnace. They said the furnace I got for free was worth $1,800 and the one installed was more. Free furnace is a free furnace. Won another free service on my air conditioner but it ended up costing me. I would not do business with them again.

Description of Work: I had a recurrent problem with my heater starting but not firing up the gas, to which a competent supervisor and 2 persons were assigned to diagnose and resolve. It was accomplished quickly, carefully and happily. Great service by very good guys.

Description of Work: I have had mostly good experiences with McDonald over several years, including having them install a new HVAC unit. However, I had a significant negative experience. I have an extended parts & labor warranty. When I needed a major A/C repair in April 2013, they tried to charge me for labor. I had to have two phone calls with the owner to get them to agree to honor my warranty and provide parts AND labor for no charge. I have continued to use them for routine maintenance but will likely not continue to use them when my warranty runs out.

Description of Work: They took out a broken range and then they had to redo my gas line into a larger new range. It has to be cut and resized. They did a little bit of extra which was to put an electrical connection on the end of the electrical wire.
