I called on a Friday night for a small sewage overflow from my "clean out" onto my front yard. I was instructed to leave a message with the problem and that the technician on duty would call me back within 30 minutes. I received a call 20 minutes later and we scheduled the service call for first thing the next morning. He arrived promptly, was outside my house prior to the appointed time. He was courteous, friendly and professional. He gave an accurate estimate and encouraged me to use their coupon in the phone book. He worked quickly and left everything clean. As a bonus, he also took a quick look at a problem with the cold water output in my kitchen sink and fixed a minor problem I was having (with no charge.) Admittedly, it took him about 45 seconds to diagnose and treat the problem, but still great!

He did a nice job overall and I was very pleased.

Very clean, professional, completed the job on time, over all a very good experience for the extra dollars.

The work they did for me was done very well and they were able to put the connection without any difficulty. I think they know a lot about the plumbing business and they were good about asking me question before they started the job. The people are very easy to work with and the staff is very accommodating.

The work was done correctly but I felt like it could have been done in a more timely manner. I had to negotiate the price because it was too high. I went that entire weekend without any heat because they had to order the part.

I had asked someone else to do the job and they had told me that I had to do major replacements for a huge amount of money. So after that I called them and they were very honest about what had to be done and also very professional. They are not the cheapest ones but they definitely do a good job.

Didn't charge me a second service call to replace a correct part that I had to order explained the service that he was doing.

I just wanted to write this review about McDonald Plumbing because I'm very happy with my new tankless water heater. When I was first given the estimate for $4250.00 from Mcdonald, I was quite surprised by the price. Then their plumber explained to me that this included running a separate gas line to the new tankless unit that requires more gas in order to operate (BTU's). He went on to explain that they also require permits on water heater jobs because they want to make sure that everything installed is up to plumbing codes. Most importantly, I have the piece of mind knowing that McDonald has been around since 1957 and they back up their work. As for the water heater, I can't say enough about the new Rinnai tankless. It's great and we never run out of hot water....

The plumber made three visits. The first time he determined that he would need to remove the toilet and that the seal was broken. The second time he resealed the toilet, but said that the pipes that were contained under the bathroom floor and in the ceiling needed to be replaced. A hole had to be cut into the ceiling. He returned and fixed the pipe, which was fairly difficult. He told us to wait a few days before fixing the ceiling hole to make sure that the repair was good. It was.

A representative from Mc Donald's Heating and Plumbing came to my house to give me an estimate to replace a water heater. I had thoroughly researched the costs and had several estimates prior to his arrival. The estimate was severely inflated (from approx $1,200 Home Depot to $2,200 Mc Donald's). He then started talking about pulling out the wall to access the vent pipe to put a larger one in for additional costs. I got the feeling that he felt he could take advantage of a female who appeared unknowledgeable. Home Depot installed my water heater, a good quality one, and it was done well and works fine without tearing up any walls. To be fair, the McDonald ballpark estimate I got in their office was on target, so I am not sure if it was just the one salesman. However, I will never use them again. This was over a year ago.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON MY BATHROOM. I THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE WAS VERY AFFORDABLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK THAT THEY HAD TO DO. THEY GOT EVERYTHING DONE IN ONE DAY.

THEY CAME RIGHT OUT TO MY HOUSE AFTER I CALLED THEM. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY TOOK MY OLD WATER HEATER OUT AND TOOK IT AWAY FOR FREE. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB AND I WOULD USE THEM IF I EVER NEED TO HAVE ANY PLUMBING OR HEATING DONE AGAIN.
