Matt James Plastering

In 2014 I hired Matt to lathe and stucco a room addition I built onto a house I owned. He and his crew got the job finished on time and as scheduled with no problems. I had tenants renting the house during construction, so schedule and consideration were important to me in order to minimize inconvenience to them. Matt and his on-time and professional.

Him and his 2 man crew spent half a day repairing stucco that was removed during a reroof, and patching numerous spots around the house. He applied a weep screed where the stucco wall meets the garage roof, correcting a problem that the original builders created when they stuccoed right down to the original shake roof. The work looks fabulous. I'll contact him again when we need stucco work for new doors and windows.

Walter is a highly experienced journeyman plasterer. He does small repairs expertly, matching adjacent plaster to near perfection. For older homes with lath and plaster interiors needing a patch or repair, Walter is your man. He was not the cheapest, but absolutely the right man for the job.

this work went very well thanks to mr.james.. this work had to be done expediciously as we had scheduled our house to be painted the fololowing week and did not realize this work was beyond the scope of our painter's job.mr james did a superb job of patching our stucco ,which when painted looked like a flawless finish.estimate to finish was done in a few days time and the quality of work and pricing was tremendous.we would definately use mr james services again and recommend him to friends.

He returned my initial call on the next business day. He came out to take a look at the job later that same day. The following business day he made the repair as promised. It was a neatly done job. He came out a couple of days later to paint the repair the same color as the surrounding wall. Our agreement did not include painting. He did that on his own. He was completely professional from start to finish.

He was polite, responsive and professional. He showed up when he said he would, stayed as long as he estimated (about two days) and charged us exactly what he estimated. The work he did is excellent. The walls are smooth, as are the outlets.
