+ 0 moreBoth jobs went extemely well. He arrived promptly both days. He first had to see the damage for the floor repair job, then buy the necesary materials to complete the repair. No problems arose --which sometimes can with an old house--and he finished the job in the afternoon. The painting job took longer because painting interior walls is tedious, and an extra coat of paint was needed to cover the walls completely. He had to shuffle the furniture that was left in the room to get at all the walls and the celing. The room is beautiful with its fresh coat of pain. I couldn't ask for more.
Description of Work: This is actually two projects. I have an extra room that was built in the garage. The floor beneath the carpet had given way in two places and needed repair. Martin Corona pulled back the carpet and assessed the damage. The floor is pressed wood and it failed from moisture and wear over time. He repaired the two holes by installing pieces of plywood and reinforcing it with a 2 x 4. It is stronger that the original floor. He than put the carpet back with new tack strips. I am very pleased with the work. Also, i decided that since half of the furniture and other items were out of the room, it would be a good time to paint it. He came back the next day and painted the room which took the better part of a day since the walls needed two coats. Again I am very pleased with his work.. The room looks better than it has in years.

+ -1 moreMartin was very polite, personable and professional while easily approachable. I assisted him in the work, and he was happy to explain what he was doing and teach me a few tricks. I was very pleased with him and the work he did looks better than I had hoped for! I highly recommend him for this type of work!
Description of Work: Martin removed an existing exterior door in an concrete block wall and installed a new door. He then did significant finish work around the door to blend it in with the existing wall. The work he did with stucco and the drywall compound was very good! The price I paid was higher than the bid because I choose to raise it significantly.
