About us

Hi, I’m Marin of Marin Design Co. - founder and principal designer. My deep love for design began when my husband and I purchased our first home in a historic neighborhood of Sacramento in 2012.    I have a  Master’s in Social Work from USC and am working towards adding a formal degree in Interior Design. I believe interior design is an art and process that needs to be personalized and developed individually for each client and space. The unique combination of my degrees and experience gives me a distinct advantage in allowing me to be an excellent communicator and listener. These skills are used to guide clients to their ideal style, creating a home they are equal parts proud of and comfortable living in.   I am passionate about creating spaces that make people happy. A home is a reflection of the people who live in it. I want my clients to sit down in their living space and have a sense of completion. The spaces I design are light and airy with a combination of textures and layered elements to lend interest to the space.
