+ -1 moreDid I mention the roof was virtually inaccessible? They did great, patching, hammering, sliding metal sheets in place of worn slate, and replacing some sections with temporary tar paper. I hope when funding happens to actually replace the roof, they will be available to do the job.
Description of Work: It was a hard ask. These guys are master slate roofers, and I was asking them to make ugly and inexpensive patches to a run down building, to keep the slate roof in service for two to five years.

+ -1 moreFantastic. These guys know slate. I expected they'd look at the roof with binoculars, but instead they said 'hold on while we get our toolbelts'. And 'we just want to get to know the roof'. And they did. We're not at the bid stage even, but I'm comfortable they are the ones that know slate in and out.
