John replaced the sink drain plug assembly and the cold water shower controller with alacrity and dispatch. Excellent service !! He has a vast amount of experience with all types of plumbing problems. He is the man!! I highly recommend JRW Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

John did come by just as he said. Together we decided that I did not have a leak (home owner error). He showed me how to tell if there is a leak in the future. He was very helpful and very professional. Even though it turned out that I did not need his services, he took the time to help me and was always very pleasant. Should I need a plumber in the future, John is the first person i will call.

I was noticing lack of water pressure in shower and eventually lost my hot water. I tried to fix the valve issue myself only to find rusting old parts and unable to get to the problem. Not knowing anything about plumbing I thought it best to contact a professional so I didn't damage any piping. I saw the special offered by JRW Plumbing and read all the reviews from prior customers who all rated as EXCELLENT. What I didn't expect was an immediate response from John and when meeting him was very much at ease with his professionalism, promptness and integrity. He took a look at my problem, got the parts and fixed it in no time. What I really appreciated was the fact that he explained everything thoroughly. The special deal was $200.00 worth of service for $95.00. Services came to a total of $135.00 and he gave me a $65.00 credit on future work needed. WHAT? Who does that?? I am a single female who is inheriting a home built in 1958 and in great need of maintenance. John was so kind to take the time to look at some of my other plumbing issues and give his professional advise. Needless to say I would not hesitate to recommend using JRW Plumbing. He is one of the "good guys" that believes in doing a good job at a fair price and I am left with the impression that he is extremely trustworthy. Now I know why this company is receiving all the excellent ratings. I think John should be named Plumber of the Year.

JRW had an offer on Angie's list for a charge of $95 for $200 worth of service. I talked to John and explained I had a leaking toilet. He suggested to go ahead and make the purchase and if I did not need the full $200 of service he would let me use the remainer at another time with no expiration. I made the purchase and we set a date for him to come on Friday(11/8) between 10:30-11:30. On 11/8 he did not call or come by 11:45 so I called and left him a detailed message. He called me back within 5 mins and apologized. He said he had written my appointment for the following week. I said for a leaky toilet? He said again he was sorry and would be happy to come as soon as he was done with the job he was currently on. Probably about 1-2 hrs. I told him that would be fine. He showed up and was very kind and professional. He checked my toilet out and said it would need the insides replace. He went to Home Depot and got the part, returned and repaired my toilet leak. He said since he had messed up the appointment he would not charge me for anything (service or parts) and I could use the $95 certificate at another time. I have already made another appointment for some additional work to be done. :-)

Purchased $95 for $200 of service Deal. JRW was prompt and efficient in setting an appointment, came and reviewed the problems at the scheduled time, in fact half an hour early! Made a trip to the hardware store for parts, returned and fixed the problems. (Badly leaking main shutoff to the house and a broken hose bib). Parts were only $12, so I was very pleased with the service. Both servicemen were polite, pleasant, and efficient. I will definitely call JRW for future plumbing needs.

Wow, I never thought I would have a reason to write a review for a plumber. Not that plumbers are bad or anything but you know the sick feeling you get when you start to look for someone that knows what they?re doing and the whole time you are worrying about what it will cost? That?s what I did as I was replacing a toilet downstairs and broke the flange. A feeling of dread came over me as I knew this was not going to be good. Not only that but things didn?t look right with the floor. We bought a foreclosure and keep finding do it yourself fixes that were never done right despite having a home inspection. This was not the place I wanted to find yet another botched do it yourself job. Someone in the past broke the flange and tried to repair it themselves from what it looked like. Under the toilet there was chiseled concrete, water staining, lots of silicone and wax not to mention some weird adaptor kind of thing. This looked nothing like the other bathroom floors. A huge wave of despair came over me as I just knew this was going to cost me a small fortune. I spent about a week trying to ?fix it myself?. I went to the home stores and watched do it yourself videos and finally decided it was time to bite the bullet and call a plumber. I got on Angie?s list. There were lots of plumbers with lots of reviews. I called a couple plumbers that had high ratings and left messages since they all stated they were 24/7 and waited. I also saw a Big Deal Coupon for JRW Plumbing but there was only a couple of reviews and I wanted more than that so I didn?t call. To me lots of reviews meant lots of experience and with this floor I needed lots of experience. After not hearing from anyone else by the next day I decided to call JRW to at least try for an estimate. I called late Sunday afternoon and he called me the next morning. I kind of told him about my problems and he gave me a rough guesstimate over the phone that I thought was cheap after what I was envisioning in my head. I asked him if he could come and look at it and he did when I got of work (very accommodating). John arrived right on time, the nicest guy you would ever meet. His guesstimate stayed the same. I thought wait a minute this has to cost way more than that, where is the upselling and trying to intimidate me by talking all that plumber language??? Not with John! He gives new meaning to honesty and trustworthiness. I felt comfortable with him right away. He gave me lots of free advice and let me know what all my options were. Instead of trying to find things to charge me for he was finding ways for me to save money. After this experience I will never be afraid to call a plumber again as long as it?s John. I don?t have enough good things to say about him. Needless to say we hired him and I?m so glad we did. He is professional, knowledgeable, experienced, honest and on time!! John scheduled us for 4:00 so I didn?t have to take any time off from work. He was on time and did a GREAT job. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. I just wished he also did electrical since I have another botched do it yourself project that needs fixing and again I get this sickening feeling in my gut when I think about having to call an electrician. Let?s hope I find someone like John.

I wanted to replace a large elongated toilet in a very small bathroom with a smaller compact round toilet. John gave me some good advice about what brand of high-efficiency toilet to purchase to ensure proper flush strength, so we were off to a good start to begin with. He and Andrew (his apprentice) showed up during the scheduled two-hour appointment window, and replaced my toilet lickety-split. They did a nice professional job, neatly caulking around the base of the toilet as the final touch. They left the jobsite in pristine condition, and the smaller toilet is a big improvement in the bathroom. John and Andrew were friendly, professional, knowledgable, and I would definitely hire them again in the future.

You will like this guy! John is prompt, personable, charges fair labor rates and does high quality work. After attempting to do the work myself (with marginal results), I needed to call in an expert. John was quick to respond to my request, worked with me on an appointment time because of my hectic schedule, and showed up right on time. He did an assessment, quoted me a price, and said he needed to get some special parts. We agreed and he spent the next day running all over town trying to find the unique parts he needed to complete the job. He showed up the next day and completed the repairs. I am totally satisfied with his professional work, and would recommend his services to anyone. I will also be bringing John back for any future plumbing requirements that I may have.

John of JRW Plumbing arrived right on the agreed time, introduced himself and co-worker. He explained what the charges were and how his $79.00 coupon for $200.00 worth of work was done. He pulled the old faucet and discovered a rusted hot water connector. He went to Home Depot got a new connector and replaced the rusted one. He explained that the connector was the additional $28.35. He did a wonderful job and explained everything in detail. He was prompt, pleasant and very professional. He cleaned up the area and even started our dishwasher when he was finished. We will definitely use his services again and recommend him to veryone. Angies List has come through again!

John was responsive to our call for help and easily completed the needed repairs. I would definitely use their services again if needed.
