Josh and his crew were absolute professionals. Josh is an honest man who does exactly what he says he will do and does phenomenal work. I have referred him to everyone I know looking for painting. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

The job went very well, the paint is beautiful and there were no troublesome issues. The crew is comprised of accomplished painters who are respectful of property and personal needs. They went far above and beyond in helping us and carefully taping off areas they were working on to reduce any possible airborne chemicals in consideration of our health issues. They even gave us a time break in the job to attend an out-of-state funeral for a family member. At the walk-through we could only find a few small areas that needed a little slap of paint. Josh and his people are thoughtful and easy to work with and do an excellent job.

Josh and his crew were amazing to work with. Each and everyone of them were a pleasure to work with. We hired them for a fairly big job of painting the interior of our home which turned into an even bigger job once we got started. In addition to painting our entire house floor to ceiling, we ended up replacing all of the interior doors which required sanding, painting and hanging. We also decided to remodel our kitchen which required redoing a lot of what they had already done. Through it all they were extremely professional, always on time and maintained an excellent attitude even when we threw them a few curve balls. Our house looks beautiful and I am beyond thrilled with the results. I would highly recommend Josh and his team to anyone who needs a great painter. Not only was it a good value, the quality of work is excellent.

When I met Josh of Joshua’s Painting Service I knew immediately he was the one to hire for my job. He was so easy to talk to & very informative throughout his bid process. I never hire anyone without getting several bids but, Josh was my one & only for this job because it just felt right from the beginning. I couldn’t be happier either with the end result. Hire these guys!! It is so refreshing to find a contractor who will actually do what they say they will do. Joshua's presentation and bid was complete and completely engaging. He laid out what they will do from beginning to end; as it turns out, it was not sales hype but rather an accurate description of the detail and effort they put into their work. To a man, the crew was friendly, helpful,informative and just nice to have around. This crew, including Joshua, worked from the minute they arrived (on time each day) til day's end. The work they did was more than first rate - from the pressure washing, to surface prep, to taping off trim, to replacing damaged trim, to the finish paint work. It is said the quality of a paint job is only as good as the prep work before any paint can is opened. Joshua's crew did an amazing and thorough job of preparing every surface (stucco, wood and wrought iron) using taping "tricks of the trade" I'd never seen before - but they really worked. They cleaned and prepared our wrought iron gate and side fencing and then used a gloss heavy-duty oil paint. We'd never considered a gloss paint before, but Joshua was right, it looks amazing. No question was left unanswered or did they ever make you feel like your question was too unimportant. Joshua's team takes great pride in their work and their attitude showed it every day. .And yes, they cleaned up completely after the job was done. Not a drop of paint on our concrete drive, sidewalk or back patio - that's more than I can say for my own work!! We are extremely happy we chose Joshua's Painting for our house painting. No, they are not the least expensive - as this will be our last paint job, we were concerned with what it was worth and not just the cost. We got more than we wanted or expected. Hire these guys!!

I contacted several painting companies and received estimates and Joshua’s estimate was neither the highest nor lowest. What convinced me to hire Joshua was his thoroughness for detail and the way he explained everything he was going to do. I could tell from talking with him that he takes pride in his work. He and his co-workers worked very hard in painting my house and fixing the dry rot. The house looks great and I highly recommend his work and I will definitely use him again.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the work done by Josh and his crew! We would hire them again in a nanosecond and we are homeowners that care about detail and quality. This company actually does everything they tell you they are going to do when they sell you the job. They pressure washed the house thoroughly a week before the prep work was done. Prep took several days, which made us happy since it makes all the difference in the final outcome of the job. They covered everything with plastic or other coverings including our neighbors cars and truck before starting their work. They scraped flaky paint where they found it, primed all bare wood surfaces, caulked all lap siding where it met the trim boards, caulked the space between the stucco and wood under the soffit, as well as around the windows and doors. All cracks or holes in the stucco were repaired or patched, patio cover posted were scraped and caulked, roofing nail protruding through the patio cover were clipped, all rusty nails were primed, replaced all rotted trim boards around the fireplace chimney. All of the stucco and lap board areas were sprayed twice and backrolled to help the paint penetrate and cover all sides of the stucco, all of the trim boards and gutters were brushed and rolled twice. Josh used Sherwin Williams Resilence premium paint which covered beautifully. After the work was done, they cleaned everything up, replaced potted plants and anything else they had moved to their rightful spots. Josh was ALWAYS responsive to whatever we requested or needed, ALWAYS friendly and positive. These guys worked hard, were always on time, dependable. Can’t say enough about them. If you are seriously thinking of having exterior work done, get on their schedule soon! They are popular (for good reason) and their calendar fills up soon! You will b glad u did! We got lucky because the weather stayed warm and dry longer than normal.

First we were given a detailed description and estimate of the work to be done, so no surprises to anyone. We had a quote in August and the work done in October. Josh came by the Saturday before work started to Powerwash all areas to be painted. Started work on house on Thursday. Always on time and the team worked well together, completed on time. They were very respectful of our needs and privacy. In fact we enjoyed having them around. They worked solidly! The cost was a little more than estimated but this was because the chimney exterior fram had rotted as well as the siding. Josh did a fabulous job .. looked far bette4 than before. He made suggestions on paint colors for trim and deck. Love the trim. Gray deck I am still getting used to.

I was very frustrated trying to find a painter. Some companies try to skirt the rules around carrying workers compensation insurance. This is important because home-owners have been bankrupted when an accident occurs and the contractor does not have the proper insurances, INCLUDING workers compensation insurance. Some companies will over-quote and then hire another outfit which probably does not have the correct insurances. Some companies come out, look around, and then you never hear from them again. Another company gave us a quote based on google maps with no details as to what they would actually do. Would they fill cracks, would they caulk, would they double coat or single coat? Who knows... And then we went to Angie's List and found Josh. What a breath of fresh air. He came to our house, spent a lot of timing going around the house telling us what he would do, and then, he actually wrote out a detailed quote by hand, taking up nearly an entire page, telling us exactly what he was going to do. He was going to fill in the stucco cracks. Caulk around the windows where needed, fix stucco that was missing on the chimney, double coat the paint, and so forth. He quoted a very, very, competitive price and we signed the quote on the spot. He and his team finished the job in three days, this was after he came out on a Saturday to pressure wash. During the painting he took the time to get the right luster of paint that he thought would "pop". As example, he bought a separate can for the front door, because he knew that a higher gloss would work better, even though it was the same color as other trim. We did not ask him to do this. He just knows what looks good and he aims to please and he does quality work. I asked him to attach something to the house way up high, it had nothing to do with painting, but he would not take extra money for this. They were very neat. They put tarps everywhere before they painted. They moved everything around and then moved it back. The paint job itself turned out fantastic. But just as important they filled in stucco cracks, caulked, and made sure the house was tightened up against the elements. Needless to say I highly recommend Josh and his excellent team of professionals. It is clear they love doing the right thing for their customers and we could not be happier with the results.

We bought our house as a model home 15 years ago so this was our first major maintenance and Josh was the best guy for it! I was very meticulous in my choice of contractor and after receiving estimates from four other painters, I connected most with Josh's positive demeanor and professionalism. He's an awesome guy that is passionate about his job and I couldn't have asked for anything more! He came out to check out our house (2700 sq feet), wrote a detailed estimate, and gave us an a timeline of the project. Great with communication. He and his partners went above and beyond what was even asked. Josh noticed that our house had multiple light bulbs in high areas that were out and exchanged them for us. We have a few cracks on the interior of our home that we plan on calling him back for. 10/10 would recommend!

Josh and his crew were thorough in their preparation work with power washing, scraping, sanding and base coating. They applied multiple coats of high-quality paint to protect the wood from sun damage. The work was completed in a timely manner and they were careful to protect the area from spills and overspray. I will have them back to paint the rest of the house.
