It looks great. it seems to be holding up. They did a professional job, including the details that others may have overlooked. The crew was efficient, courteous and cleaned up the job site upon completion. I would recommend them.

Jay, Josh, and Antoine are a well honed team together. They worked quickly and skillfully. Jay continued to find more and more rotted wood that needed replacement, and he showed each section to me and explained it, or the options. He insisted on replacing bad wood, to do a quality job. He also gave us good advice on colors. Their work is excellent, and all the neighbors like the results too!

Jay did a wonderful job painting the exterior of our stucco house. He works himself with a crew of two excellent, reliable employees who have worked with him for several years - no unknown subcontractors. They are meticulous and very skilled, and worked non-stop every day they were here. Every little detail is attended to, and the quality of their work was perfect. We had to leave town the last couple of days of their work, and they completed it totally professionally, leaving our property 100% clean and picked up. Jay was also very easy to reach via his cell phone, either picking up calls and texts immediately or returning them very quickly. Jay and his crew are real pros, and they made this job painless for us.

Jay got back to me quickly, we set a date for the estimate. He confirmed earlier in the day he was coming and showed up when he said he would. He looked at the chimney, went back to his truck and patched the spot at no charge! I had mentioned my frustration that none of the three people I had called even had the courtesy to call me back...so he just took care of it.

Great quality work performed. Thorough and detailed. Jay was responsive and prompt to return phone calls and text messages. Punctual for the work days and completed on time as estimated. He also performed some repair work of exterior trim and siding and did a great job.

Bets experience I've ever had with a contractor. Care was taken to remove exterior light fixtures and carefully mask before painting the house. It turned out beautiful. Plus Jay was problem solver. He installed a new side fence,removed a difficult-to-remove door lockset, and installed new exterior door locksets. Jay as well as his two employees were punctual and had a friendly, positive attitude throughout the entire project.

Jay and his crew were wonderful. We received multiple estimates and went with Jay because: 1) he used better quality paint then some of the other companies, 2) he had extensive knowledge about older houses and what would look best, and; 3) he was very kind and professional. The house looks spectacular and I only wish we did it sooner. After searching high and low for a paint color, Jay had us drive by another house he recently completed and the color was perfect. Jay was very patient and professional when I was indecisive with colors and helped select the trim color, etc. He really knows what he is doing. Jay and his crew arrived on time or early every day and worked hard to complete the job in a few days. When you can hear everything happening through your 1920's windows, I must say it is really nice listening to a positive and upbeat crew. They actually sounded like they were having fun out there despite the heat. No negativity, cussing, etc., from these guys....they came to get the job done and did excellent work. We couldn't be happier with their services and hope to hire them for our interior as well.

It went very well. They were able to start the job a day earlier than scheduled and had it done in 2 days just as he stated it would be. I had him repair some dry rot in some areas that I was aware of and he even repaired an area of dry rot that I wasn't aware of. Very good at his craft!

Fantastic! Jay showed up on time to set appointments, communicated clearly about expectations and services to be performed, then followed through with what was planned. He and his crew were very polite and wonderful to work with. They took time and care to carefully pressure wash the outside, mask properly, and made sure they got full coverage without over-sprays or streaks. They completed the work BEYOND our expectations, and threw in a few extras too. He even agreed to complete extra work without gouging the price for the extended time and materials. We are very happy we found Jay's Painting Service.

Jay and his crew did an outstanding job! My wife and I were extremely pleased with the outcome of the job. First, they were very punctual, showing up early every day. They cleaned up daily, and their final clean up was excellent. They were very attentive to details, such as the painting of all of the trim around our new windows, and Jay's painting of our front door. Jay did extensive dry rot repair on my chimney and did an excellent job. Upon completion of the job, his lead painter did a complete detailed walk through with me to ensure we were satisfied. If I saw anything, no matter how small, he happily touched it up. Jay also hung 6 outdoor light fixtures. We strongly recommend him and his crew (Josh & Antoine)! We will be using them for the interior of our home in the future. PS. Our total cost included materials and labor for dry rot work.

I called (916) 541-0960 and left a vm message on Saturday, July 8, 2017, requesting a call back for a painting project. I quoted my call back number, with area code included, twice. It is now Thursday, July 13, 2017 and no reply from Jay's Painting Service Inc.

Went very well. They were very cleaning during painting.

Jay was a great help in helping me narrow down a color scheme. Our project started on schedule. They were on site everyday, except for the day it unexpectedly rained! But they were back the next. They arrived daily when they said they would. Jay was either reachable or got back to me in a couple hours. The whole crew was very pleasant to work with. They did a great job! Jay was good with communication before and during job. They were a little rushed but did a good job. Very helpful with moving of furniture I couldn't. Two men did the work and were very friendly. I appreciated them asking questions when needed of what I wanted done. Over all very pleased and the best cost bid I had received.

It went really well. They did a great job, and had good preparation. They did more than agreed upon, and really went out of their way.

Job was consistent with the other excellent reviews I read. If you are kicking around hiring a paint contractor like I was, this company can be hired without reservation; they will do an excellent job for you as they EXPERIENCED. This crew has been painting together for a long time and it shows. I found them to be detail oriented and I am very satisfied with the job. Absolutely no problems, no regrets and in retrospect I am glad I did not hire another contractor.

We had Jay and his crew paint the exterior of our house. It turned out fantastic! Their attention to detail was great! Jay power washed the house one day, we discussed colors and the next day he came back with the color samples and helped us choose the final ones. Jay and crew came out the next morning to prep and paint. They took two days to complete the painting. We are very happy with the job they did and would recommend them to everyone.

As a design professional with more than 40 years experience myself, and a perfectionist, John was patient with me all the way, and totally came through. I recommend him and his team without reservation - Jay's Painting gets an A+, where the firm owner/painter is in charge and fully engaged on every job. Moreover, some of the pre-painting prep required associated general contracting, and Jay's Painting provided the right individuals with equal talent and skill (they work together as needed).

Absolutely a wonderful experience. The owner Jay is an honest and strait forward guy. He and his crew not only did a marvelous job, but also went extra miles to make sure their customers have positive experiences. I was remodeling my house to get it ready for sale, therefore I hired Jay’s painting to paint entire exterior and interior of the house. Jay was monitoring my remodeling progress by coming to my house 3-4 times during the period. When the house is ready for paint, he and his crew showed up early and move fast. They were attended to every detail. Jay personally checked the work after the job is completed. I am very happy of the house’s new look. It is just like a new house. Many thanks to Jay and his crew.

Jay arrived a few minutes early every day. He prepped the work spaces efficiently to protect areas from paint and also prepping the areas to paint. End of day clean up was thoughtfully appropriate for a job underway. It was clear that Jay is a professional in his field. I wish that I had known some of the tricks of trade that Jay utilized over the years I painted on my own. The finished product was outstanding and I'm enjoying my 'new home' look immensely.
