He was so thorough and discussed our home with us in great detail. He was so professional, punctual and very knowledgeable.

Rob responded quickly, set up an appointment at a good time and was there as promised. He is pleasant to deal with, answered all our questions and checked everything from the foundation to the rooftop, out to the garage, and up to the chimney. We had a detailed report the next day, complete with pictures. At our request, he was also able to give us references for people to do additional work. If only everyone were this professional and easy to work with!

I did not use Harmon for the home inspection, since I had another vendor already booked.

Robert inspected a house I was planning to buy and had my heart set on. He was very thorough and unfortunately found a lot of really major problems that would have been very expensive to fix. He walked me through the house and showed and explained all the problems and provided input into the effort and cost to fix. For things like the roof he showed me pictures of problems. He had an thermal imaging camera that detected two active roof leaks that were not that visible, but were apparent to the camera as wet sheetrock. I had his report the next morning and it included detailed descriptions and pictures. Based on his report, I decided not to buy that first house since it would have been a huge money pit in the short and long term. I had him inspect the next house I decided to buy as well due to his thoroughness with the first house. He was able to fit me in quickly, again did a thorough job and discussed approximate costs for some repair items so I could make an informed decision. He walked me through the inspection items again and even showed me helpful things for the future like where the main water shut-was and the GFCI reset in the garage which was tied into the bathrooms. He even offered me a discount on the inspection as a "repeat" customer. I would highly recommend Robert as a home inspector, but I am glad I don't need his services anymore since I am proceeding with the purchase of the second home he inspected!

It was detailed. He did infrared photo scanning and moisture readers. He was a nice guy and looked at every detail. He was everything that you would want. I would highly recommend him without hesitation. The best value I've ever had for $350. It was worth more!

Appreciated a thorough evaluation of a newly constructed house and a careful and patient explanation of the results. Cost was $450 for a 3500 square foot house and a $25 Angie's List discount was kindly applied.

This was for a general inspection on a home I was considering buying. Robert arrived a good deal earlier than our appointment time and was able to do a lot of the legwork before the walkthrough. He was very comprehensive, and suggested additional inspections and / or fixes that could help with the process, and highlighted strengths and weaknesses of various systems throughout the house. Very comprehensive report and he was also able to summarize all permits requested for the property.

He was very nice and detailed. He will definitely use him again!

Mr. Harmon arrived on time and conducted a very thorough home inspection. He is very polite, professional, detail oriented and provided a post-inspection walk-through with me. He explained what he had discovered and informed me of the importance of having certain issue(s) repaired i.e. safety issue vs. cosmetic issue. He even provided some suggestions on how to repair and/or undertake preventative maintenance or upgrade work to minimizes future issues. He stated that I should expect the report within 24 hrs. It will include photos, videos and thermal imaging. I was very impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness of the inspection process and/or structure and/or features of the home and its amenities.

We needed a home inspection on a property we are selling. Rob called me back promptly after I left a message to request to schedule and inspection. He was on time, professional, personable. He spent 2 hours going through the house. At the end of his inspection, he gave me a summary of issues and suggestions for improvement. He committed to get the report to me by the following Monday. The inspection was done on Friday. I got the report on Sunday with photos and video.

Rob, the owner, was excellent from first communication to delivery of final product. His report was extremely detailed and he even came back out to the home a second time as the gas was not turned on during our initial appointment. He was thorough and professional, and I would certainly recommend his services.

He did a really good job. He did a very thorough onsite inspection and then he did a report and the report was pretty complete as well. I would highly recommend him. He was very prompt and as he promised the report was within a week and it was even quicker than that. He was very professional.

I found Mr. Harmon in Angie?s List and I couldn?t recommend him highly enough. He sent an example report for me to review beforehand. I had just had a home inspection done in Buffalo for the house I sold there and I was happy with that work. But Robert?s inspection was more complete, and, just as important, very clearly explained. He reviewed his inspection just after he completed it and sent an electronic report the following day. It included many pictures and a few videos. It even included pictures that you could see the heating and cooling temperatures for all the HVAC registers. But the one item that really set him apart was that he found a potentially large problem in my attic. The 60 year old metal vent ducts were wrapped in deteriorating asbestos. It is called friable and it?s the worst kind. So, with this knowledge, I was able to contact asbestos abatement and HVAC companies and negotiate the cost of this work being covered by the seller. My real estate agent said that she had never seen a home inspector find an asbestos problem in 17 years. (I don?t think it?s on their scope for things that need to be checked out.) A couple weeks after Robert inspected my house my realtor used him to inspect a house she bought. And my son?s best man used him a couple weeks later for his new house. Bottom line, Mr. Harmon is the best in the business.

Absolutely wonderful! Robert went over every nook and cranny in our future home. He caught several small things that others had missed. He was punctual, he was responsive, he answered every question we had. He made a suggestion based on a hunch he had to have the sewer line inspected by a professional since the house was so old and thought that the sewer lines were probably original. He was right! The $100 sewer inspection saved us over $1000 in repairs that we were able to ask the seller to repair! He gave his overall impression of the house and was able to help us figure out which things were important to have repaired immediately vs. things we could do down the road. His report was super thorough and detailed with lots of pictures to evidence his findings. Absolutely love Harmon home inspections! Not to mention how quickly he got the report to us!!! When you are making such a huge purchase you have to trust the person inspecting your home and protecting your investment! Total piece of mind! Robert is the best!

He was awesome. He was an all star. He was truly A+ across the board. He even came out and gave us a secondary appraisal at a very discounted cost. He gave us everything we needed to buy our new home. He was extremely responsive and very thorough. He was very knowledgeable in what he did. His price was extremely fair. He got out there when we needed him to get there. He hit the mark. We would absolutely use him again.

Rob is officially my go to inspector. He was professional, prompt (I got my report the very next morning!), and most of all I felt like I could trust him. He gave me insight as to possible costs to fix and recommendations of who can do it that so far have been right on. On top of that I felt his prices were very reasonable.

Rob may be a bit expensive, but he does his job thoroughly. He inspected every aspect of the property and took pictures throughout his inspection. I was there through his walk-through and he kindly answered and explained all the questions I had for him. He prioritized the items that needed immediate attention and what could likely wait a month or two. Lastly, he was honest if he was not licensed to do something (termite/pest inspection). He did notice some issues, which I had another company come out and take care of though. Thanks Rob!
