Prompt return of my message. Courteous and explanation of service was very detailed. He showed up on time, was very thorough of his home inspection. After his inspection he walked me thru all his findings and explained everything that needed attention in our home. It gave me a huge piece of mind. He showed up on time, started working before I arrived, greeted with a smile, I left he did his thing, I returned with a friend for the room by room walk through. He impressed my friend enough to as for his business card.

Robert returned my call quickly, and accommodated my schedule. He was polite, professional and accommodating. The home I had inspected was a home I was inheriting, and had not been taken care of for awhile, so he was very honest and told me the things that needed attention immediately, and what I could wait on. He even recommended people to call, when I was ready.

We are purchasing a home built in1965. Our realtor had many home inspectors to refer but I wanted to choose one from Angie's List. We were very satisfied with Robert of Harmon Home Inspections. when first contacting robert, I left a message and he responded the next day. then I made an appointment for a saturday, then I needed to change to a sunday (he was totally willing to come on a sunday! which made me feel like a I picked the right home inspector!) then something came up and I had to change the appointment again to the next day and robert was very understanding and willing to work with me. My realtor told me he showed up on time and when I showed up to the property he was working away on the inspection. At the end of the inspection, he walked myself and my group of people through his entire process! (my realtor even said he was better than people he knew). When all said and done, he was affordable, very personable and since I found him on Angie's List he gave me a discount! I would use him again and recommend him to my friends! Thank you robert!

I can not even express how much I highly recommend Harmon Home Inspections. Harmon Home Inspections does more for less (literally, such as inspecting our pool and machinery as well as using thermal imaging throughout the house for less money than all of the rest of the estimates to do a visual inspection without thermal imaging and not inspecting the pool!)! Robert is extremely professional, but even more importantly is extremely thorough in his inspection. This is one situation that you do not want done on the fly or for the person to do it speedily! Robert not only took pictures of every detail and item in his thorough inspection and checklist, but he also took video which is included in his online report so that you can see everything he describes in detail in even more detail and through his eyes. Not all of his news was good, but he advised us on our purchase on our new home and what needed immediate attention, what we could do at our convenience, and what we might even be able to accomplish ourselves, saving ourselves a ton of money. Well worth the investment. If you are thinking about having a person home inspection performed, don't skip it! Highly worth every dollar!

I cannot say enough about what a pleasure it was to use Robert to inspect our future home. He is a true professional, who is so knowledgable about just about every facet of home inspection. He was prompt in returning my e-mails as well as showing up at the house ready for the inspection. He thoroughly inspected the home in more detail than I could have imagined. What a pro. I'm a realtor and my home inspector left town so I had to come here and find someone. You can find cheaper home inspectors elsewhere but he really is worth every penny.

Robert was very prompt in returning phone calls and was at the job site on time. His work is of high quality and he is very professional in explaining all his findings to me. I like the fact that he uses infrared imaging to check for invisible problems although more infrared photo on the report will be even better. In addition to the interior of the house, the attic and exterior (including the backyard) were also thoroughly inspected. He was able to reveal couple of code violation items which I will never discover myself. The whole job took around 2.5 hours. A detail and easy to read report with photos and videos was sent to me before the end of the date. I will definitely use his service again. Suggestion: It would be great if photos of higher resolution are included in the report such that customer can zoom it to see the detail.

I called Harmon around 4pm the day before and asked if he could do a home inspection the next day as we were getting into contract and wanted to close quickly. Harmon told us he could be at the home sight at 8am the next day. To our surprise I got there at 7:50 and he was already checking stuff out. He was really nice, easy to talk to and also very professional. He went into the house and started his inspection. I continued to ask questions and he didn't seem to mind and was very helpful and having me understand the process he was going through and the technology he was using ie infared gun to check the temperatures of the heating system. He then walked us through every little crack and section of the home finishing 3 hours later. He also had a full report with pictures videos and suggestions listed on everything in the house. It was amazing! I would recommend Harmon and use him again as he was great to work with, honest, and professional.

Every aspect of my experience with Robert Harmon was exceptional. He was prompt with both phone and e-mail responses. He showed up on time, clearly explained the 2-3 hour home inspection process and walked me through the results one-by-one. He was extremely professional and clearly an expert. He was honest about what areas needed urgent attention and what areas could wait a bit. It should be noted that we had this home inspection performed not as part of a home sale. We've been in the house about 2 years and just wanted someone to come give us an un-biased assessment of what areas needed attention. I don't trust contractors to tell me what needs to be done on my home; Robert doesn't make any money on any repairs I have performed since he's just doing the inspection so that provides additional confidence that you'll get honest feedback. I'd recommend that everyone who's not extraordinarily handy themselves to have a home inspection like this done every few years. The fee was reasonable, the service was impeccable and I will use Harmon again in the future. Highly recommended.

This is the second home inspection Robert Harmon performed for me. He makes himself available for easy contact, and was very flexible with my time frame. Robert conducted himself professionally, efficiently, and skillfully at each inspection. He was very thorough in walking me through his findings after the inspection, but made the language very easy to understand for someone who is not in his field of work. His findings at the first house he inspected showed me it was not the home for me; his inspection findings at the second house let me feel secure buying the house for my first home. I would recommend his services to anyone wanting a great service for a fair price.

Robert was on time, did a complete check of the home we are interested in. Showed me all items individually, explained what/why etc. You can tell he has a huge amount of experience in this field. His report was ready the next day (Sunday) and detalied everything we spoke about. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future, and if this purchase falls through, he will be our #1 go to inspector.

The home was purchased new by the seller from a reputable local builder less than one year ago, therefore, all of the items are being repaired or replaced as part of the builder's one year fit and finish warranty. I really liked his report that he sent to me via email. It was not only comprehensive but also easy to understand. I also liked the attached videos on his report. I would definitely recommend Robert to anyone needing a home inspection.

He was great. On time, thourough and provided a report same day with details and pictures. He seemed very knowledgable and I was very happy with the service and the report.

I contacted Robert after hours about performing and inspection on a property that we are looking at purchasing. He answered the phone and took the time to explain his services and provide me with a number of options for an appointment. His inspection was very thorough and the report detailed and easy to follow. We had some concerns about a leak in the shower and in the roof and Robert brought out an IR camera and multiple moisture meters to a**** the mositure level in the surrpounding materials. Overall his inspection was complete and as detailed as any I have read. He took the time to walk me through the home afterward and point out a number of details that I had not noticed myself in previous walk-throughs. His calm demeanor and professionalism are what really set's him apart from the other inspectors that I have dealt with.

Robert arrived in time (on very short notice) and spent at least 3 hours doing inspection. After that we went around house together and he explained all his finding. The report was ready next day. This is my first time dealing with home inspection so I didn't know what to expect, but I was impressed by thoroughness of the report, which included, among other things, images taken by IR camera and videos of some hard-to-access spaces.

I wasn't physically at the address when he conducted the inspection, as this is an investment property and I live out of state. But, from his report and photographs it seemed he did a thorough job. He was prompt in returning my phone calls, courteous in answering my questions and was able to make a quick appointment with my renters to complete the inspection. After the entire inspection was complete he spent some time showing me areas of concern even though this would be covered in his written report. I found him to be courteous and informative.
