They were extremely professional. The work is beautiful and we are looking forward to hiring them again to install a wood floor in our bedroom.

Excellent service and job was performed fast.

I had some hardwood flooring added adjacent to some existing flooring, which was 60 years old. They blended it together beautifully. They tore up part of the old flooring and mixed it with the new. You can't tell where the old ends and the new begins. They were quick, efficient, and very polite. I was very impressed. I would recommend him to anyone. The price was very competitive as well. He wasn't the cheapest, but the quality and the value of the job was worth it.

This job exceeded our expectations. The floors are beautiful. We had him use Bona Amberseal and Bona water based finish in semi gloss. The work team was hardworking and very pleasant and considerate throughout the job. The job took a total of 3 days and each day they showed up when expected and left things totally tidy and with instructions for us about when we could walk (gently) through the rooms. My husband said "this is the best contractor we have ever used". I agree.

We went with them because they had a lot of good feedback. They were very professional and courteous. They came on time and they cleaned up. They had to come back and fix something, which they did.

John came to provide an onsite estimate, answered my questions. On the day of install, he came with his team to do about 1100 sq ft of job. They were prompt and very professional. On top of that, they got it done all in one day (tear out, debris removal, remove and re-install molding, and of course, install hardwood flooring). I was very impressed by them. I am going to use them again on putting down ceramic tiles next time!

Beware. I'm guess he does good work if you can get him to keep his commitments. That was my issue. He twice set up contact dates and did not follow through. Glad I found that out before any cash was exchanged.

The guys did the floor and did a great job. Okay. They came in. They did a good job. The floor was great. When there was few airs they came back immediately and corrected them. They did the job last summer. It's in the end of July. They were great and look absolutely marvelous.

John was very punctual and professional. He brought in several people and finished putting down floating wood flooring all in one day!! They did an awesome job and was so much faster than other installers who came and provided the estimates; they all said that they needed 4 days; 3 days minimum. John was on the job site all the time. He only gone out momentarily to get more people and tools but was there to oversee and do work. I was able to ask him questions as they put down the flooring. His price is very competitive. I am not sure if he does tiles or carpet but I would definitely hire him again!

John and his team were stellar beyond measure. We invited 3 floor installation contractors to our home to provide a quote,and John's estimate for services was, by far, the most competitive. He was a bit late for our appt.,though through the process, I learned that the reason why is primarily because he's so busy! While there was some inconvenience, it was easy to let it go because of how thorough he was. Of all the contractors that provided a quote, he was the only one who took the time to ask about the bamboo flooring that we had in the kitchen/dining area, which we planned on keeping until he clarified how much of the work would likely have to be redone if we decided to change that flooring in the future. This was because of the floating/locking cork panels we chose. So we decided to add those rooms to the project, and we're so happy we did!! It looks amazing...so much larger and wide open, with less transition. His team showed up right on time on the day of installation and got right to work. They were done by midday the following day, even though John said it would take 3--4 days!! We had run into some challenges with the retailer we purchased the flooring from because they had provided bamboo trim that didn't match the flooring. They suggested a local furniture restoration business that could stain oak trim to match the cork. They were not able to get the trim to us for staining in time for the the installation, thus John wasn't able to finish the job. He was VERY flexible and professional about it. We told him we would contact him when the staining was finished. It took much longer than expected and when John didn't hear from us after a few days, he checked in. When the trim arrived, he showed up on his own to begin the installation. He immediately surmised that the company who sold us the trim didn't send what was ordered, resulting in us having too much of T-trim and none of the quarter rounds that were needed to go around the base of the cupboards in the kitchen. At first he said he would make the t-trim work, then he quickly changed his mind, saying that it wouldn't look as good as he'd prefer. He then offered to purchase the quarter rounds we needed, in the right color to match the cupboards and only asked me to add $30 to the total for doing so! I was so thankful, that I added $40, still thinking perhaps that wasn't enough. He refused to take any more, because we ended up spending $200 on staining the trim and didn't end up using a good portion of it. We have plans to install some tile in other rooms throughout our home and there is no question that we will use John!! We are also going to be replacing carpeting in the bedrooms and were disappointed that he doesn't do carpet installation! John and his team are amazing, kind, professional, flexible and patient. Their quality of work and clean up after the project were top notch. I simply cannot recommend Hardwood Floors Plus More enough!

The job will be completed today. We are very happy with his work. He is incredibly responsive, hard working and honest. From what we have seen the job looks really good.

They did a great job, worked fast and were professional. They didn't show up right on time, but they weren't so late that it caused any concern. They arrived within the hour. They were fine with letting us watch them do the work. They also let us buy our own materials and then did the installation for us. Some of the places we contacted prior to them required that we use their flooring.

Jon came by several times prior to start of work. He wanted to be sure there were no surprises under the old carpet. He had to repair three areas where an old furnace had been vented, and where a wall had partially been removed. He had to use the wood from a closet in order to have enough for the repairs. He identified the wood as Tasmanian Oak from New Zealand, very rare. The floor was quite uniformly dark prior to work, and very beautiful light and varied with after Jon finished. You have to look really hard to find the new patches! He gave us a good discount, which was super - Partly because we removed the carpet, pads, tack strips, and all the staples, but also for being an Angie's List member. He had it finished in 3 days. The oak he put in the closet almost looked like the original, and he made a special wood threshold into the kitchen. It looks perfect. He also hauled away the old carpet and pads, put plastic up to limit dust into areas without hardwood, and wrapped up the lighting fixtures, too.

From the estimate to the finished product, John was friendly and professional. Everything was done on time and we are very happy with the results. I would definitely use this company again. This is a 100 year old home, so I knew there might be challenges. The experience of the company showed as they were able to get the job done and work around any obstacles easily. Very impressed.

My floors now look brand new and I couldn't be more pleased. Provider and his team worked hard to minimize dust although it's impossible not to have some, cleaned up after themselves every day and kept me informed on each process. I lost my garage remote and had to purchase a new one and John even programmed it for me! Not sure how long I will stay in my present home but I have no doubt the hardwood refinishing added value.

John was excellent to work with! We would highly recommend his services! He provided great prices and even threw in the demolition work for free. The biggest thing for us with John was his availability and his patience in answering our questions.

John did a fantastic job on my rental unit. My home is a 100-year-old craftsman home, which was ruined by tenants who thought it was normal to walk around in stripper heels. Their stomping around make my floor look like post-game polo field. The floors needed to be sanded, not just revarnished. I was initially worried because the floors are old, and I was concerned that sanding would result in the exposure of nailheads - and ultimately require me to replace the floors sooner than I expected. John assured me that he could fix the floors, keeping in mind their age. the dents he could not sand away he said he would fill with wood filler - extra work for which he did not charge me. He also made some other repairs at no additional charge. John even came back later to personally apply a bit of sealant to a patch of floor that looked dull. Thanks John!

John was great to work with. Punctual and finished on time. The floors are absolutely as beautiful as I hoped they would be. John was very helpful with a few extras that I needed, (transisions and baseboards).
