Description of Work: I contacted Michael, the sole proprietor, via email on March 10th based on the positive ratings on Angie's List and scheduled an appointment for 3pm on March 17th. Michael called at 1:15pm on March 17 to cancel.

Description of Work: Rental Repair: I had observed a leak in my front yard coming from main sprinkler line, and water leaking from the sprinkler head onto the sidewalk. I corresponded with Michael to fix the leaks and he ended up replacing a sprinkler control valve and tightening a loose pipe to fix the other leak.

Description of Work: Michael hung some new exterior shutters on my house. He was prompt, knowledgeable and went to the hardware store to get the right hardware.

Description of Work: Mike performed various handyman tasks at my rental property and my personal home. Fixed side entry door. Replace screens on windows. Repaired botched patch work on ceiling.

Description of Work: I paid him $223. not including material. First of all my deck is only 2 years old and the wood isn't dried out. It has been painted every year since I had it built ( this spring being the third painting). I have the paper work to prove it. Check out the pictures. MR Michael Feliciano was stomping around because he was mad he didn't want to do the work. The job wasn't a cake walk. The swamp cooler is up very high 10 feet and not easy to work on by yourself. He went stomping down the stairs and stepped on the very edge of the step and between his anger and his weight it broke off. Nothing was said because I didn't want him to be any angrier than he already was. I just assumed he would take care of it. When he never offered to replace it and left to pick up pump at the store. I thought I would call ( he didn't call me ) to make sure he had the measurements to get the wood to fix the step. He didn't I had to get measurements for him. He assured me in our first conversation on the 30 the of March he could fix the cooler. This unit has been cleaned with calcium deposit cleaner and sprayed down with the hose and water every year since I bought it in 2008. I never told him it was 5 years old like he says I said. Why would I say that. I have the paper work to prove it!! I haven't lived in this house for 5 years. I did clean the filter, while he was at the store it was on the ground and I could do that while he was gone. I never said I would get up on the ladder and clean the hoses. I was paying him to do the work. He didn't run the cooler. I was the one in the trailer turning it off and on for him. Do you really think he would stand there for 30 min. like he says. Really!! He said it was working and because I couldn't see that far up I had to take his word it. I did turn it on but with it being so cool out side you didn't know if it was just the cool air the fan was bring in. Our first contact was when I called him on a Sun the 29 the it was warm 84.9 degrees and the first time I had turned on the unit this year. He came out on Mon the 30 the and the weather had cooled down 60 degrees in the AM when he got there. The week it was a cool week never getting over 80 degrees so it never went on. On Saturday the 6 the it went to 87 degrees ( this weather info can all be found on the web ) and that is the first time I called him to have him come back out. Then called again Sunday then again on Mon never got an answer. A while after I called on Mon he called me back. I told him I could hear pump was running but the air was hot so it wasn't working. That is when he said he would do nothing about it, it was now my problem. That is when I got a little hostile because he could have said something about coming out to look at it. After my friend and I took it apart I knew why he didn't want to come back out. He didn't do the job right in the first place. One of my friends said he would come out and take a look. When we took off the cover the hose wasn't hooked up to the unit so it wasn't circulating water. There is no way it was hooked up and working when he left. It isn't something one person could do. It took two people, one on the side where the hose needs to be hooked and one in front holding the unit out a little so the other person could hook up the hose. being up 10 feet on a ladder. When we put it back together it was heavy and not easy for two people. When Mr. Michael Feliciano put it up it was wet and full of water from when I sprayed it down with the hose. Really he says he did it buy himself? 3' X 4' foot filter full of water.( look at the pictures ). Yes the hose was filled with debris. There was no way it was working with all the debris in it. The tray was clean. All we did was clean out the hose and connect the hose to the filter cover and put the cover back on the unit. It now runs great. I was paying him to do the work and I wasn't getting up on the ladder. I am 55 and don't need any broken bones. But in the end I had to get up on the ladder and help my friend because it took 2 people to put it back together. Look at the pictures. I am writing this review so other people don't have to go through what I had to and the $ he took from me. He thinks that because he came out here and did a bad job he should get paid. Looks like he's right. But we will see in small claims because that is where I am going to have to take this matter.

Description of Work: I was in the middle of remodeling my kitchen myself, and I needed help with some work that was beyond my capabilities. Michael helped me by taking out and reconfiguring several cabinets, cutting to fit and reinstalling cabinet doors, and constructing a counter top ready for me to apply tile to. This work was done over the course of two days.
