Description of Work: Mowed lawn, trimmed roses and edged.

Description of Work: I used Gentle Gardening for some landscaping in my yard. They did a whole bunch of work for me. So they pretty much remodeled my lawn.

Description of Work: We have hired this service for weekly yard cleaning. Jose, the proprietor, does the work himself. Unlike many of these services you get an estimate from who you think you are working with and then you get a crew member unable to make decisions or speak English. Jose does the service and the estimates. The buck stops with him. He is very friendly and does an excellent job. We have a pretty wild yard requiring a lot of labor. He has reasonable pricing and quality work. I would highly recommend him for yard maintenance and cleaning.

Description of Work: We just hired him to do a clean up on my yard.

Description of Work: I have the "Gentle Gardener" maintain my small yard, front and back, which includes mowing and trimming the lawn, trimming the bushes, and sweeping/blowing clean-up. He also cleaned up my messy side yards for when I first hired him.

Description of Work: I needed redwood bark on all my flowerbeds, front and back.

Description of Work: Every two weeks Jose mows my lawn, trims my roses and other bushes as needed. He sprays for weeds in the beds and the driveway and sidewalks. Occasionally, I ask him to do special tree trimming, and he gives me a price for the trimming and hauling. He applies fertilizer as needed.

Description of Work: - grass clipping and weed pulling, plus removal of weeds/grass behind garage (with chemicals)- bi-weekly grass mowing

Description of Work: mowed the lawn weed whacked the edges cleaned out the borders planted 2, 6 pac of flowers............. as a lawn maintenance company he was ok but overpriced as he came 7 - 8 times in 3 months due to weather. in April we bought 10 6 pacs of flowers he refused to plant them without charging extra........so today is the last time he will mow the lawn. since we removed all debrie that he had collected ( no cost to him ) and he never spent no more than 1 hour at a time , mostly less than 30 minutes we felt he was to expensive........... and we will not use him again!

Description of Work: Primarily he removes the leaves. He also trims some of the plants.

Description of Work: Jose came over to give me an estimate the same day I called him and returned on the next day on time to start working. He cleaned the leaves and dirt out of the rain gutters and blew the leaves and dirt off the roof, which had been negelected for several years. There was a extra charge for this, $125, which was very fair. He cleaned out the leaves and dry, dead undergrowth on my plants in the back yard and in the azaleas in the front. He mowed and edged the front yard and trimmed the ivy. He truly is a "gentle gardener" as the name of his company suggests, which is important to me. He has agreed to come once a week to maintain our front and back yards. We are delighted with the quality of his work, which proved to us that his standards are very high. Throw in with all that a great sense of humor.

Description of Work: Gentle Gardening is my regular lawn / yard service provider. I've used this company ongoing since March 2009. He arrived promptly, made suggestions, and does a good job.
