Very well. After a delay of first appt, the work was done quickly and efficiently.

They winterized my house, and then when they valley backed up they cleaned that one valley out and then I had them come back and clear all the valleys out clean them out and put them back so that I wouldn't have any future leaks.

Another Angie's List rip-off -- where an unsuspecting homeowner gets charged for some contractor to come out, do nothing, except look for some big job that can be thrust upon the unsuspecting homeowner, that they probably don't need.

Freeman roofing did an excellent job. I have done some roofing work myself and the work they did was top quality.

Still waiting for a quote to replace a few tiles

Couldn't do much, glued some broken tiles and said many needed to be replaced . Worked 45 minutes, cost $149. Not a good deal.

Via an Angie's List offer, Freeman Roofing did a roof inspection for $149.00. Jim, the technician, showed up on time, did the inspection, and made some minor repairs. He found 5 tiles that needed replacement and gave me an estimate of $425.00. He replaced the tiles at a later date.

Roofer showed up as arranged and fixed the tiles. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and pleasant.

I think that giving a provider a full week (from Sunday September 10, 2016 to Monday September 19, 2016) is more than ample time to respond to my call and/or emails. i don't care to do business with anyone that cannot even provide a courtesy reply. I have requested a full refund.

It didn't. Provider never returns repeated calls and emails

Great communication. He found nothing wrong; which either means the others were lying or that he missed things. However, he seems trustworthy. Even did some caulking and putting some tiles back in place.

He was on time, good communication on his part and YES he did a great job! Well done!

I received an email from Angie's List offering a "Tile Roof Tune-Up" for a fixed price of $149. It sounded like a good deal, so I looked at what the service included and was happy that it represented good value. I also knew that one small area of my roof did actually need a little attention, so I signed up for the service. Jim contacted me promptly and we discussed the service to be performed. I was up front with him about the small repair that I knew needed to be done and said that I would pay extra for that if necessary. We agreed on a date and time a few days later. Jim called me to tell me he was on his way, arrived perfectly on time, and went to work. He completed the small repair (and no, he didn't charge me extra for it), applied some additional sealant around a couple of bathroom vents that penetrate the roof, and told me that otherwise things were in good shape. He showed me various photos that he had taken while up on the roof. He also pointed out some rotten wood trim around the chimney and recommended that, as I was planning on having some stucco work done on my house anyway, I have the stucco contractor remove the rotten trim and apply stucco to the chimney also. Great idea, I'd never even considered that! All in all I am very happy with the service that I received, and have placed a copy of Jim's business card on file incase I ever need the roof worked on; I would call him without hesitation.

He showed up on time and did exactly what he said he was going to do.

He was at my house for 15 minutes. He said since I didn't have any leaks I should let sleeping dogs lie. Actually he said this twice. He also said it was clear in the contract that he couldn't do anything with a 8/12 pitch roof. He was a fast talker--not the kind of person I like to do work with. I did not get a receipt.

He called back. He was knowledgeable. He was professional and he did the repairs that he said he would.

Did the repair-remove tiles, fix flashing ,install new tiles, clean up. Done one time and well.

Contacted Freeman Roofing, got an estimate and a detailed information sheet containing everything that was included in that estimate. I did inform Mr. Freeman that I was strongly leaning to using Solar City for solar power panels. Upon receiving information from Solar City, I decided to go ahead and have the solar panels installed. When the roof was inspected, a new roof was strongly suggested. Part of that suggestion was that Solar City would cover $4,000 and I would pay the rest of it. Because of the savings, I decided NOT to use Freeman Roofing. I was impressed with Freeman Roofing and would recommend them to anyone, but the savings for me is too much to ignore.

It could not have gone smoother.

I purchased a 149.00 roof inspection special, but no work was done other than some photos of the roof that the provider showed me on his smart phone. He was here and gone within 15 minutes. I could have received an estimate for free. Also, it was a hassle to get the inspection scheduled (I had to call more than once to get a call back and that is too many times)! This provider gave me his estimate on the back of his business card rather than a more professional detailed estimate. Although I indicated in the check box that I would not use this provider in the future, the real answer is "maybe." Under different circumstances, this situation may have gone smoother. Perhaps if I had just contacted the provider directly without the Angie's List Tune up special as a go-between.

Jim showed up on time and took care of the leak.

I had two broken roof tiles. Fortunately, the pieces were still there, so he glued them. He also pounded some loose nails and did an overall inspection of the roof. I was very happy with his service & the price was more economical than a mega roofing company (who wanted my "1st born" just to come out & survey the damage (of which I already had photos- they didn't care; it's like the Doctor who wants to take more x-rays, even though you have recent ones on hand). I will definitely use his services again, as needed.

Let me say, that when economy tanked, I felt bad for people like roofers. Now that economy is back, they basically are disrespectful and/or take advantage. This is one of several roofers who would simply not call back once they heard I needed a repair (rather than a 30K new roof). Multiple messages left. No response. You know it's common courtesy to CALL BACK and say: "gee, I would love your business, but I'm simply too busy right now and thanks for thinking of me'. That is it... that is all it would take! Next time economy tanks, I won't feel bad anymore.
