The entire experience was painless. I have no reservations about recommending Freeman and Young Roofing.

About about 2 months after they completed the job one of the parts that they repaired the shingles blew off. They came out and repaired it and he said that the part that was damaged wasn't one of the parts that they had originally repaired. I had noticed that a square on the roof was considerably darker, since I had bought the shingles to match, I thought that I had bought the wrong color. When that section fell off the roof, I saw that it was the wrong roofing material and that it was the material they bought for the area that was being re-roofed and they had not used the material I purchased for the repair. The person that who came out do the repair was not one of the people who had originally done the work. They billed us to come out and repair the area that they had just repaired. I am very upset about this. Not only do they want me to pay for them to fix it but they over charged me. They charge $75.00 an hour and for less than an hours work they charged me $225.00. I am very unhappy with them because I also noticed that they nailed on top of the shingles and they told me that was normal. I told him that I knew it was not an industry standard. He ended up repairing it, but they are supposed to be the professional so I shouldn't have to ask them to do it the right way. It is a shame that they are treating me this way. I thought the original work they did on the re-roofing was very good. I just can't believe their dishonesty.

This was a good experience. They did what they said they would. They stood by what they said even after I caught them not quite doing what they were supposed to. I think that was just an oversight of the people giving the bid, not the people doing the work. I brought it up when I saw it and they corrected it which was good. They did a good job of putting our roof on. They were prompt and good to work with. They are honest people.

Not much story to tell. There were no problems, the work was promptly scheduled and completed (2 days total for tear off, re-roof comp 1200 sq. ft. plus 400 sq. ft. 4-ply hot roof). Yard was completely cleaned up. Everything looks good. No complaints.

They did a really good job. They're a very good representative for the roofing industry. They came in a very timely manner and finished in about 3 days. They cleaned up very well when they were finished. I can't say anything bad about them and I would highly recommend.

We couldn't be happier with the roof and the company's work. The project involved a number of complex shed roofs joining at challenging angles. In every respect, we received highly professional, courteous, and responsive service. The job represented a major investment, and it has paid off. Two small leaks developed after completion of the job, but the company responded and fixed them without delay or hesitation. Recently, we had our kitchen remodeled, which required a new vent in the roof. The first rains this season revealed a leak. The remodel company sent representatives out to inspect the roof area and concluded that it had no responsibility for the problem, so we called Freeman & Young to make the repair. Not only did they show up immediately but discovered that the leak had indeed resulted from the remodeler's work. Nevertheless, under absolutely no obligation to do so, they fixed the problem at no charge. You can't ask for more than that.

I was impressed with the agent that inspected my roof. It would have been easy for him to sell me a new roof that was not needed for several years. The work was done within several days to my complete satisfaction. I should also note that a daughter was in the process of a roofing job and she shifted the job to F&Y Roofing Co. Her new roof is finished, and she is very pleased with the firm.

We were very happy with the tear off crew and the install crew. The gutter crew was great, too. The workers were very neat and polite. When the final inspection was done there were a couple of minor problems, and that is where I was not happy. The inspector told the guy what he wanted fixed and how, but the guy did things his own way. It took 3 inspections and almost 2 months to correct these minor problems.

THEY WERE THE MOST REASONABLY PRICED COMPANY THAT WE COULD FIND. THE OTHER COMPANIES DID NOT INSPECT THE ROOF BEFORE THEY GAVE US A PRICE QUOTE, BUT THEY DID. THAT WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE. THEY DID AN IMPECCABLE JOB.
