I made a mistake and didn't read the fine print of the big deal. Company was very polite and professional.

Jim was responsive, on time, and very helpful in providing diagnosis and suggestions. He gave me a great estimate for my roof that came in well below other estimates. I have no complaints about the process once I decided to have my roof replaced. The were in and out in just a few days?started on a Wednesday with the tear off and were done by Monday. The roof is beautiful and guaranteed for several years. All workers were very respectful and friendly.

He thoroughly checked the roofs for cracked or missing tiles. He found one that was cracked and He glued it. All of the other tiles were fine and he checked all of the roof vents. He recommended that I have the roof vents painted after about 3-4 years. I was impressed by his thoroughness. He kept me informed as to when he would arrive to begin the job. Very impressed with what he did and the quality of all his work.

We are very pleased with the work. They performed the work within a few days of receiving the estimate and finished in 2 days, doing an excellent job. Final cost was the same as the estimate, even though they did work in addition to what was included in the estimate. Cleaned everything up perfectly. Salesperson and workers were very courteous. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.

The appointment was easy to make. He arrived a little early. He was pleasant and professional.This was a long time rental which I was selling and I knew needed a new roof done at least within the next 5 years, by my judgment. He looked it over, did the caulking (I did not actually go up there and look), nailed down a few loose pieces. He noticed the several areas at the eves that needed repair. I had had a Pest Inspection done and was aware of these and he certainly did not overstate the issue. He talked to us about the roof. He informed us that putting 2nd and 3rd layers of roofing on is not generally done anymore. He took the initiative to write up a bid for a new roof which was quite fairly priced, confirmed by a later bid I saw which was obtained by a potential buyer. He also was kind enough to send a email stating that one of the expensive repair issues recommended by the Pest Company was not worth doing until the roof was re-roofed, as well as a statement that the roof should last another 3 years. (carefully worded as this was not a warranty, completely reasonable.) This was useful in talking to prospective buyers. So, all in all this was good service, specific to my needs, and I am very satisfied. I would like to have been able to give them the business of re-roofing the house.

It turned fine. They were on time. They checked out what I needed checked out. There was nothing wrong with my roof. I just needed a tune up so I don’t plan to use the credit, but I am quite happy with the price and he was a nice guy. I am happy customer.

The roof removal crew showed up on time and had the old roof striped in about 2 to 3 hours and then Jim Freeman's roofing crew showed up and did an outstanding job. Very professional and high quality work. They were very conscientious about cleaning up and leaving the whole area clean and free of debris. I would definitely use them again.

Jim was suppose to be here at 10:00. By 10:30, I called him, to find out if he was even coming. He said he was running late and didn't have our phone number, with him. He spent a few minutes, on our roof. He spent the majority of his time, in his truck, on his phone. Very disappointing!

Jim came out on schedule and did a thorough roof inspection. He was able to repair a roof leak even though it would not normally be included in the Angie's List inspection deal. He was very professional and has obviously been in the business for a long time. I would not hesitate to use him for any further work needed.

Unfortunately, the news wasn't good. Looks like I will need to have my roof replaced. Jim immediately noticed I had a Hardie Shake roof which is no longer made. So he took pictures of my roof and recommended that I file a warranty claim with the manufacturer. I followed his advice, filed the claim, and have already hear from the manufacturer that they received my claim and it is under review. Jim was very easy to work with and I will definitely call on him again.

We had an appointment scheduled the first time, but they didn't show up. It was on a day that I had to specially leave work to be there. I was a little upset and called Angie's List customer service to complain, and they were very understanding and were willing to work things out, by either finding an equivalent deal in the area, or refunding the money I paid on this deal. However, couple of days later, a person from the roofing company calls me telling that he's at my house for the inspection, when I told him that this was not our scheduled appointment, he was apologetic and claimed that there was a mix-up and that they were supposed to call me up ahead of time to reschedule for today, but it looks like they screwed up with that. So I decided to give them a second chance. We rescheduled the appointment and they were on time. He went on the roof and basically did what the deal said they would do, and nailed down a lot of loose tiles. Overall I'm happy with the service provided for the price, I still have to perform those roof repairs, but at least now I'm less concerned of having tiles falling down.

The inspector arrived on time and was very pleasant. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. What I liked the most is that he was honest. He informed us that we didn't have any significant roofing issues, although he recommended that our roof be replaced within the next two years or so. He also gave us told us that we had several, more pressing issues with our solar panels, although he urged us to consult a pro in this area, as this was not his speciality area. Finally, he re-caulked our skylights, ensuring that they wouldn't leak. Very happy with the service he provided. We will call him after we're finished having the solar panels updated.

Wow, what great service! I was contacted by them immediately after purchasing their $99 special. Jim scheduled the work just two days after contacting him. He fixed a leak we had and then told me about another (worse) problem we had--and showed me pictures he had taken while on the roof. So, we scheduled him to come back to make the repair. Besides doing a professional job, Jim is VERY good about calling back and keeping appointment times. I recommend him highly!

It went well. Jim Freeman came early. He was very courteous. He promptly went to work and when he was finished, he showed me pictures of the problems with the roof. Mr. Freeman answered all of my numerous questions. I could tell by his answers that he was quite knowledgeable about roofing. Since the roof materials are still under warranty, Jim suggested that I contact the manufacturer to find out what they will cover. I did call the manufacturer, and they will be sending me some forms to complete. I was told by the manufacturer that it would take 6-8 weeks before I would know if the materialswould be covered under the warranty. Once I hear from the manufacturer then I can proceed to having the repair done.

Did some other minor repairs to the roof.

Roof repair replaced large section do to solar water system leaking.

Had several discussions before work began, explained issues thoroughly, work performed in a timely manner.

I was not home, my husband was quite pleased with the customer service, and pricing. Don't know much about roofing, so I believe its good.

They were excellent. I have referred them to other people and they have said that they did a really good job for them. The owner was very involved. They came out and did a very professional job on the bid. They got up on the roof and did a very thorough job. Then when they did the work they inspected it afterwards. I think that they did an excellent job for the price. The owner was physically involved which was a huge thing. I would use them again.

They are great and did a great job. They were timely and got it all done and cleaned up afterwards. The cost was fair and we would use them again if needed.

The roof was done on a rental property we have in North Highlands. It had a urethane foam roof that didn't hold up well at all. Most roofers didn't even want to mess with the foam roof. The one quote we were able to get to repair it (including dry rot repair) was almost as high as Dean Miller with Freeman and Young charged us for a new 50 year comp shingle roof including all dry rot repair and full gutters and downspouts. They started the roof within a few days of our acceptance of their bid and finished ahead of schedule. The dry rot was more extensive than they originally expected but they stuck with their bid. I hardily recommend them and will use them again in the future.
