As I stated on April 6th i took time off from my job to meet Mr Jim Freeman at the property. Jim came out and took several measurements of the roof and pointed out how it had been repaired in the past and was well beyond the life cycle (20 -25 years) of a shake shingle roof. These things I already knew, but was pleased with his discription. I indicated that I was interested in adding a few solar tubes and skylights to the house. He stated that he would not have a problem doing that work. He asked me to text him my email address so he could email me a quote for three different roof types. He stated that he could fit my property in within the next 3-4 weeks. Not bad? WRONG! I figured it would take him a week to get back to me. NO REPLY. I called and left a message with him on April 16th - ten days after we met to inquire about the status of quote. NO REPLY. I called and left him a message the next day again on Friday April 17th - NO REPLY. I texted him on Monday, April 20th as maybe he was busy and could write me back quickly - NO REPLY. Finally on Tuesday, April 21st he called and left a VERY BRIEF message saying he was too busy to take on the project. I called him back immediately and asked why he would even come out to the property, tell me he was available to complete the project, and email me the quote when he was too busy to complete it. He stated that he was sorry, but offered no explanation why he couldn't help. I explained that not only did I take time off work to meet him, but that he wasted over 2 weeks of my time when he could have just immediately told me he was too busy. Furthermore, he didn't even send me a quote to compare with other vendors. WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. THIS IS WHERE HIS TOTAL LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM WAS DISCOVERED: After the conversation, I sent him a text - exact quote: "I understand you have to make decisions based on available resources, but wasting two weeks of someone's time with a shallow excuse is not the way you should treat people. I took time away from my work to meet you. At the very least you could have done something to help me out (quote). I'm very disappointed in this situation." and signed my name. HE CALLED ME UP DURING THE MIDDLE OF MY FAMILY DINNER AND STARTED CUSSING AND LECTURING ME ABOUT HOW I WASNT HIS DAD AND I SHOULDN'T HAVE CONTINUED TO CONTACT HIM ABOUT THE SITUATION. I was taken back by his lack of professionalism and couldn't believe he had the time to call and swear at me and carry on when HE WAS THE ONE WHO DIDNT COMPLETE HIS JOB! All I was trying to do was give a local contractor approximately $30,000 to install a roof. Was I supposed to apologize for trying to put food on the mans table? If this is how he acts before he takes the job, I'm extremely happy I didn't have to work with him through any challenges associated with the project. STRONGLY ENCOURAGE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO STAY AWAY!!!

The service I paid for was a great value.

Roof had just been pressure washed which is a must if you want a good inspection and for any tile repairs (caulking) to be their best. A through inspection was done. I saw him moving the ladder to various access points to the roof. Had him give me an estimate to replace roof jacks with larger size due to the installation of larger bathroom ventilation fans. Will have him come back to do install.

It went well, except there was no nailing of tiles or anything of the sort as was mentioned in the deal. The sealing was done with a weather proof sealant.

.I had Jim come out to do a tune up on my tile roof. There are too many tiles to really fix the roof, but he glued down many of them and checked to make sure he got the ones that might lead to future problems. Only real cure for my roof is a full replacement and I will call him when I am ready for that step

It turned out fine. I had him do some repairs so it was a little extra. He was businesslike, he was on time and made the repairs that I had asked him too.

Freeman showed up and refastened the gutter prior to the next storm.

I was satisfied. I was happy with service even though it didn't work out quite the way I thought it would. He was going to patch some holes in my attic, however he did not come back.

He did a great job. Calked many areas and noted all cracked tiles.

It went fine. They were professional and I didn’t have any issues with communication. The cleanup went great.

One thing that I expected him to do because I had one tile that I thought he was going to replace and he said, no he doesn't replace any tile, so I had to go and buy a new tile. That really surprised me because that's really bought it and I thought he would take care of the one tile that was missing on the roof and he did not do that. He said it didn't cover that. He was very professional and he was well mannered. It is just surprised that he couldn't replace one tile that had been broken. I felt like I had paid a bit too much money for the fact that I didn't get. He didn't really do what I had expected he would complete. I felt it was kind of ridiculous that he couldn't replace one tile.

He was great. Professional, prompt, helpful, thorough. I recommend him to anyone looking for roof repair.

If you read the Angie's List deal, it said that they would like fix so many different issues with your roof. I can't really say he did or he did not do that because I wasn't on the roof with him but my understanding was he just gave me an estimate which most people would do for free. The reason why I didn't do any feedback is because I don't know, I wasn't on the roof with him. Then, I asked for an estimate which he said he would have to come back to do. Then he said he came back and I was at work and he said he couldn't provide a whole estimate because there is probably going to be some dry rot and he know until he took the roof off what the extent of that would be so he wasn't comfortable in putting that in the estimate and he could provide the estimate without that, which I did understand from a professional standpoint. However, I had a roofer who was willing to give me all of that so I ended up going with them. He came out when he said he was going to come out. He was very easy to speak with. He came out when he said he was going to come out. I wouldn't use him because he couldn't give me the complete estimate that I needed. There was a little bit of cleanup afterwards.

He did a thorough job, found a few possible trouble spots, and later gave an estimate for fixing them. Will probably use him. Very nice man.

He arrived as promised and replaced the shingles. He was professional and courteous, and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

It was hard to pin down a time. When he finally did arrive he was on the roof for less than 30 minutes No work was actually performed

Jim was a nice guy. I recommend him.

No services were performed. Jim Freeman and I met for inspection on Oct. 21, 2014, 5:00 pm. After inspection he said he will provide a quote and left. On Oct 26, 2014, I received quote in email. On Oct 28, 2014, I asked why the $99 Angie's List deal was not part of his quote. Nov 5, 2014, he answered that I've already received the "$99 service for insepction/tune up". I reply that an inspection was done, but what the about the tune up? On Nov 6, 2014, he said I got the "tune up work done per Angies List agreement, sealing pipes and sheet metal". We never saw each other again after Oct 21, 2014 and we never talked about or scheduled a date/time for sealing pipes and sheet metal or any other work. He changed his story from I received the service to work has already been done. If work was done, it was not scheduled or approved by me. I received no records of what actual work done and where. I checked the roof and did not find any changes when I compared to pictures I taken in early Oct 2014. I will never use Freeman roofing. I will also never sign up for another Angie's List "deal". The only deal I got is I paid $99 for a repair cost estimate that many roofers offer for free. I signed up for Angie's List believing there will be reputable businesses. Instead, I got cheated by both Freeman Roofing and Angie's List.

This company was prompt, professional, and did quality work. They left our garage and yards much cleaner than before they arrived! Loved working with this company, no sales, hassles, just a clean estimate and superior work.

Very well. Jim was prompt and very professional. He inspected the roof and nailed down tiles. I asked him to look at the fascia and recommend someone to call for an estimate and potential work. He provided me with a contractor's contact information that same day. Should I need to have the roof & gutters replaced, I would not hesitate to call Mr. Freeman.

This was an Angie's List coupon deal. It went very well.
