They did a really good job. They were very prompt and reasonable. They made good recommendation. We were very happy with their work.

I watched them put in my neighbors fence, they were organized and did a great job. Reasonable pricing given what my neighbor paid, I had Freedom Fence over to look at work that I wanted done, was told I would get a quote sent over by email the following week. After several weeks of hearing nothing, I contacted them and was told the quote had been emailed over several weeks earlier. Waited a few more days for it to be resent, called them again, and finally got the quote. The quote was reasonable, so I went ahead and requested to move forward with the agreement, installation etc. Another month passed, never heard from them on moving forward with the agreement. I moved on to another fencing company ... thank you for wasting my time. My neighbors swears by Freedom Fence, second time he's used them. I watched them put in my neighbor's fence, it was well done, the crew was focused and put up a well constructed fence in a short amount of time. Although they wasted my time with not following through on the quote, I'm not giving them just 'F' across the board because I saw them do good work for my neighbor.

From obtaining a bid to completion of the job, they were great. They worked with me when I encountered issues regarding the fence project, even extending the contract date expiration. Once the date was set to move forward, they arrived and completed the job. James and Elias did a great job. They informed me of what they were going to do each day and did just that. They provided a netting around the yard to cover the open spaces so my dog would not wander into the neighbors yards. They were efficient and cleaned up afterwards. I found nothing to complain about. The finished fence and gate look great.

After 3rd contact, they gave a bid of 5 times the lowest and 3 times the mid bid. I have owned my own business and have used this tact to stop a customer from returning calls. This was my first ever contact from an Angie's listing.

I was especially grateful that they came back to make further improvements so that what I received was what I needed. In general I would say that they are a very responsive and dependable company. Everything that others I have talked with have had to say about them has also been very positive. I will gladly recommend them to others in the future.

Showed up promptly to examine putting in a fence along my driveway. Promised he would follow up with a quote. Never heard from him again.

The estimate process went well with Mr. McCrrary. Absolutely no complaints about Mr. McCrrary. He was punctual and the price was competitive. I was going to hire them but then something happened. I called on 9/16, in the morning, to schedule the work but no answer. I left a msg but no one called back. I called back at 1:30 pm and a man answered. I explained I wanted to schedule an appt. for actual WORK TO BE DONE. I explained I left a msg earlier today (9/16). His retort was with whom did I leave the msg (as though I was less than truthful), and that he could schedule an estimate. I explained I already had an estimate and wanted to schedule a time for work to be done. It would be at least 4 weeks out due to their schedules and mine. He stated that I must sign the estimate and send it in and then they would schedule an appt. for the work to be done. I explained that I was leaving town on 9/20 and would not return till 10/5 and that they have a 3-4 week wait to get work done. I wanted the work to start in mid October which is why I wanted to schedule it now. He was not concerned. He wanted the estimate signed and then they would schedule a day to perform the work. He said they would schedule the work to be done in October in any case. Well, I did not get good feeling from this employee on the phone. He did not want to schedule until the estimate was signed and in their office. I can understand that but given my situation he provided no solutions to expedite the process. By the time the estimate gets there with my signature and they call back I will be gone. I also had questions about the estimate but this person was clearly, in my opinion, not interested so I did not ask. This don't work for me and he did not seem interested in any options (Fax, email). It seemed like he had something better to do than deal with a customer trying to schedule actual work. I did not believe him when he said they would schedule me in October upon my return on 10/5. Unfortunately I will not be hiring Freedom Fence. I was not impressed by this person. It is unfortunate given the number of good reviews they have. Just not for me.

We have wood fence all the way around so we had a couple of slabs that were breaking and the wood gate to the backyard were not well balanced so they redid them. They worked every time and they did a nice job. Their pricing was pretty fair. We had several estimates before we chose them and they were pretty fair. They were in a bargain and certainly reasonable. They showed up when they were supposed to.

I was very happy with their service. The office staff was very nice on the phone, and both the person giving the estimate and the work crew were punctual and very helpful. I especially appreciated that the work crew arrived very early in the scheduled window. The work was completed in only a few hours, and the fence itself looks generally nice and well-constructed. My only (very minor) complaint would be that a few of the fence boards aren't the best looking (they have some black streaks through the wood), but they are toward the back and it was only one or two boards, so it wasn't really worth asking them to redo. Overall, I'd recommend Freedom Fence, and I'd use them again.

Worker arrived at the time scheduled, worked quickly and fence was done by noon. Well- constructed.

It went fine. Estimator had come out and detailed job to the number and types of boards required for each area. Workers came out 2 weeks later and did the work including removing a big weed growing between the 2 fences. All workers were prompt. and answered all my questions and the estimator suggested the most reasonable way to get the fence in shape without replacing the whole back fence which had been my original plan.

The estimate was accurate, they did the work in the manner they said they would do it. They showed up on time, completed the project in one day and cleaned up afterward. Completely pleased with the way the project was done and how it looks.

Company was punctual and took only a few hours to complete the job...very professional.

They showed up on time, took down the old fence quickly and built the replacement . Some coaching from me was required to get the outcome I wanted. It looks great and really helped us sell our house.

We used Freedom Fence and Construction Company before we were on Angie's List. I found them in the Penny Saver newspaper. They were the lowest of 3 estimates we received. These guys were quick. They came in tore down the old fence, put up the new one, and cleaned up all in about 4 hours. They were very quick and the fence was built very well. I have no complaints with it. I would recommend them. I don't even know if I could have gotten the lumber for the price I paid at Home Depot. They are an A down the line. I would use them again.

It went really well. They left the back yard neater than when they got there.

During one of the early winter storms, some fence posts on the north facing fence gave way and the fence started to fall over. I proped the fence up until repairs could be arranged. I did not want to replace the main fence but just the 3 posts (others having been replaced by me in earlier times) that either had been broken or were ready to break. Freedm Fence and Construction sent a person to who gave an estimate for replacing the 3 posts and gate that was sagging and hitting the side of the house when being opened or closed. I accepted their estimate and they called me back one business day later to set up the time for the repair. They arrived on the stated date and time and performed the repairs as expected. The 3 posts were dug out (including the concrete placed their during initial setting of the posts), new posts were added, and the fence was attached to the new posts. At the same time, the wooden gate into the back yard was replaced with a new gate. All the work was completed in about 3 hours. The gate is operating as expected (no sag and does not hit the side of the house) and the fence is as good as new. I am very happy with the whole experience with working with Freedom Fence and Construction.

I rated this company with a B. Mainly due to the price, however, they were not very responsive and very slow in returning their estimate.

Excellent, it took two days, the first day the fence was torn down and then the guys came out the second day to put up the new fence. They also helped put primer on the fence on a different weekend since the fence has to dry before applying.

Generally speaking, we saw a lack of understanding about courtesy toward a customer's property, a lack of supervision, and an overall lack of attention to the quality of the project and workmanship. Lack of courtesy toward customer's property: Workers dumped a 60+ pound pile of concrete in our yard, then tried to cover it up. It took multiple calls to get it dug out and removed, and the manager I spoke with never once said anything close to and quot;sorryand quot;. They also filled our recycling bin with cement sacks with cement in them, creating dust clouds each time we opened the bins. All trash and leftover materials should have been removed from our property. Overall lack of supervision and quality of workmanship: Here are some examples: Never had the sense that there was anyone specifically in charge. Workers seemed in a hurry, we overheard talk of being off Friday if they could finish on Thursday. At several places along the fence board lengths are uneven at the bottoms, sometimes because of roots but also for no apparent reason at all. Sloppy looking. Supervised, quality workers would have mentioned problems or worked with us to make them less noticeable. We asked that some boards be replaced because their and quot;badand quot; side was showing, and they brought replacements, showed them to us, and then proceeded to install them so that their and quot;badand quot; sides showed. By the time we saw this, it was too late to do anything about it. A large gap was left in the gate frame near the locking mechanism where rain water could be allowed to accumulate. This was later fixed using our suggested method. At the end of the project, we noticed a board that was already cracked, and when we asked about it we were told and quot;well, there's a 1-year warrantyand quot; and no attempt was made to replace it. There was some irrigation damage issues which were resolved with outside help. The wood was apparently quite wet at the time of installation. As I write this (September 2012), considerable shrinking has happened and there are now gaps between the boards, some are quite large. Finally, note that 2 neighbors also participated in this project, and they have stated similar concerns and frustrations, particularly with regard to the perceived lack of supervision and lack of attention to quality. This company is large, and I believe they have several crews. We must have gotten the worst one.

I really appreciated how well our decorative fence was rebuilt. At first we were thinking it might need to be replaced entirely, however, Freedom Fence came out and showed us that only a few areas were in need of attention. They did a great job on the decorative fence and the traditional fence as well. They were punctual, hardworking and exacting. I appreciate their attention to detail, and I would gladly use them in the future.

The workers called and informed us of their arrival. They introduced themselves and went over the work to be done so we were on the same pag. They started work and once they did yhey stayed with in until finished. They invited me out to see their work and I was totally pleased with their work ,all old fence and gate was loaded on their truck.
