 + -1 moreUpon completion, it was absolutely beautiful! They completely restored the sofa and refinished the dresser. I am extremely happy with the work Evco Custom Upholstery performed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is in need of any restoration of furniture.
Description of Work: I had a sofa to reupholster and an antique dresser to refinish. They came out in a mobile showroom with over 1,000 fabrics to choose from! I chose a fabric with the help of the interior designer.

Description of Work: In August 2012, EVCO took a $1000 deposit to recover 4 dining chair seat cushions, stabilize/glue 3 of the dining chairs, and recover a leather sofa. Our dining chairs were returned at the end of 3/2013, 7 months later, ONLY after notifying them we had filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The sofa has not been completed. The company told us in January that they had equipment malfunction and were working on a solution. As of this date, 4/15/13, the sofa has yet to be returned. I would not recommend this unprofessional company to anyone.

 + -1 moreI don't need to be told by a service provider that I have champagne taste on beer money. While I was on vacation, they kept calling me and calling me. I asked if it could wait until I was back, and the receptionist was rude and could not communicate well. We kept calling to find out when the delivery will be and they would never call me back. My mistake was that I paid them in full up front. When they finally delivered the furniture, they could not give me a time or date for when to expect it. They charged me $800 for a scotch guard that I do not believe they did. I do not recommend this company.
Description of Work: He came in and inspected the furniture. We discussed what we wanted and I told him I wanted to use silk and restore it to its original condition. He told me it was "champagne taste on beer money." He gave us a quote which I approved. We signed the contract. In the middle of the project he called and told me it would cost more. I thought that was not right, but I went along with that because he had my furniture.

 + -1 moreI was satisfied with the work but not happy that the actual price was nearly double the estimate and that I had not been prepared for that possibility---was also called at work to OK the increase after fabric had been ordered and work started.
Description of Work: Recovered 6 dining room chairs---called half way through to say that the webbing would need to be replaced at a cost of $60 per chair.

 + -1 moreTHEY DID A GREAT JOB. EVERYTHING WAS DONE VERY NEATLY. THEY EVEN CLEANED IT FOR US. I GOT THE COUCH BACK IN GREAT CONDITION. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND THEIR PRICES.
