Description of Work: Empire replaced the carpeting throughout our entire house and they did a wonderful job. They even made the carpet on our staircase look better than it did before by adding cascading to the stairs and they made the suggestion. Overall we had a great experience with them and I would highly reccomend them.

+ 0 moreWe called and they called us the next day and then came out the day after that. The price is in the middle, we have some lower and higher. The biggest problem is they can't match the color that I want. The first time we had something close, but not quite what I needed. They have a warehouse so they can installed quickly, but if they don't have the color you want then it doesn't matter. They don't break down the bid for how much the carpet is, installation, moving furniture, removing carpet, etc. They just give us one lump bid. A CPA told us that if the carpet is attached to the house then there is no sales tax on it. They don't give you a price per square yard, it's just one big price. You can't decide how much money you'll save if you move the furniture yourself, change the pad, etc. They don't have a large variety of colors, but the people were fine.
Description of Work: Empire Today gave us a bid to do the floors in our whole house.

+ -1 moreI was not pleased with the service provided by Empire. When the carpet arrived, they rolled it out on the street to make the cuts. They were supposed to arrive next day and did not. While they were there they were often on their cell phones and not paying attention to the job.
Description of Work: I ordered a Berber carpet from Empire Carpet. They then took out the old carpet from our living room, hallway and master bedroom and installed Berber carpeting in the rooms.
