This is my first experience using Angie's list. There are so many pest control companies out there, I wanted to choose a company that was local but had references or reviews. Chose Ecotech because one review said she had dogs/animals (and I have dogs) and she felt this company was environmentally friendly and conscious of her animals welfare. Also reading thru the many reviews, it seemed to have mostly positives. Called the phone number, within 10 minutes I received a call back and scheduled an appt. Ryan came out, explained his services, I gave him a tour of my house and property (and dogs/dog area), he explained how his company and services worked, I agreed to the price and terms and he got started. ($85 initial service, $65 ongoing service every 2 months with Angie's List discount). My concern was wasps/ wasp nests/ and the regular spiders and ants. Ryan took his time and treated all areas, including inside and exterior of house, underneath my house, outdoor patios from the inside of house, two garages and doggie area. As I was working outside, I noticed he also took a brush and brushed down any and all cobwebs and wasp or mud nests. I was very pleased with the thoroughness of his initial treatment. Waited for the 1 month follow up appt to write this review. As promised, he made an appt, and arrived on time one month from the initial appt and allowed me to review how things went from his last treatment and go over any areas of concern before he treated again. I feel EcoTech spends the time to do a thorough job and ensure any problem areas are addressed. Compared to other pest control companies I have used before, EcoTech is much more thorough, service oriented and I feel is a great value for the price. I am happy I found them thru Angie's list and look forward to being pest free in the years to come.

They arrived on time or if they were running late they always called. They repaired the hole in the side of my house that the birds had made and covered all the eves so they could not land there anymore. I no longer wake up to birds peeking on the side my house any more.

Was on time, was knowledgable, and did a thorough job. Excellent.

I thought the price was over the top, but quality service and professional.

EcoTech Pest Management Inc have been coming out regularly since I hired them. They take care of all the cobwebs and we haven't had any ant problem since they started coming. He calls and lets me know when he's going to be here. I'm usually home so I see him when he arrives and when he is leaving and I pay him before he leaves. He's a nice guy. I think he's excellent. Their pricing is average when I talk to other people with regard to payment for their pest services. They come out and spray every 2 months.

After the initial attempt, still heard noises in the attic. Called Ryan and he came out that day to further inspect possible attic entrances and set traps. I also switched post control companies for Apex to Ecotech because of the expanded services and lower price.

They were fine but I won't say that we don't have ants again, but I guess it is because of the weather. They had worked more than three days and I was happy with them. They were fine.

This house is rental property; I live in a nearby state. I contacted Eco Tech to take care of a spider and ant problem. Because I wasn't sure when to schedule the appointment that would work with the tenants, they took down the tenants phone number to arrange a time. They immediately got to work to arrange a time, having to try a couple of times because the tenant wasn't home at first. They were there to work within a day and were very prompt and took care of the problem within 30 minutes. The tech then phoned me and took my card info over the phone, quickly followed by a confirmation email. My ant and spider problem was solved quickly and easily! Months later, the ants and spider have yet to return! Both the tenants and I are very pleased with their service.

We had some issues with ants getting into the house and called this company. There was no problem scheduling the visit and the gentleman showed up promptly on time. He was done in about 40-45 minutes. I think that fixed the problem because we no longer had problems with ants.

I called EchoTech and left a message. I received a prompt return call. I explained I was looking for a new service, as I was not happy with my current service prices. They explained their service and prices. I told them I was not due for another service for a month. The following month I was contacted, and they came and performed pest control service. Each and every contact I have had has been professional. I would highly recommend EchoTech!

We woke up one morning to find a highly coordinated, mobile army of ants trailing from the bottom of one living room wall, up to the ceiling, all along the dining room ceiling, living room ceiling and then down along the fireplace. Needless to say, we were alarmed and knew that we needed more than a store bought bug killer. We contacted EcoTech Pest Management based on solid Angie's List reviews and our desire for a safer alternative as we have cats, one of which is chronically ill. Over the phone Ryan gave us helpful explanations regarding possible options and when he came to our home and saw where they were coming from, suggested first spraying underneath the house (as he had taken the time to look at our foundation before come in to the house) to rid us of the nests and then spraying in the house if we still saw evidence of ants. He not only sprayed underneath the house, he also sprayed the exterior eaves. We have not see an ant since and signed up for the quarterly service option. Ryan was very pleasant, polite and efficient and we were very happy with his work.

Technicians called several days before they were arriving. They arrived on time and were very polite and professional. I had questions and they answered them about the possible source of the roaches I've been seeing around the perimeter of the house. They asked me about specific problem areas and focused the treatment on them.

He called back the same day I left a message. I had bees in my wall and he came out a couple of days later and took care of the problem.

Rats had taken up residence in my garage and were getting under my house. I hired a contractor to make sure all the entrance points were eliminated, and Kyle from EcoTech set 6 snap traps in the garage. Caught 3 roof rats the first night. Kyle was very thorough, and came back a couple of more times over the next two weeks to check the traps before removing them. Would definitely hire them again.

Initially I spoke to Kyle on the phone to set up an appointment to investigate rats that were eating my tomato plants. We were concerned that the rats were getting in the house. They were able to see me immediately (2 days following my initial phone call). Kyle gave me an hour window (3:30-4:30pm) and showed up 10 minutes early which worked out great for my schedule. On the day of the visit, both Kyle and Ryan came out and inspected the attic and outside the house for possible entry points into the house. When inside, they happily took their shoes off so they didn't track any dirt on to my nice carpet. I would describe them both as very knowledgeable, respectful and professional. They found no evidence of rat activity in the attic and showed possible entry points outside. They also gave me advice for keeping the rats away from my tomatoes! Because there was no evidence of rats in the house and they found nothing, they didn't charge me a cent for coming out!!! It was such a nice surprise I seriously almost cried of happiness and shock. They left their business card and I will be sure to call them back if the rats ever make it into the house!!! Thanks Ryan and Kyle! More business people should be like you guys!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent! We heard of Ecotech via the BIg Deal program through Angie's List. They did an excellent job so we signed up for the bi-monthly service.

I found EcoTech on Angie's List and I emailed EcoTech this morning about our problem with Yellow Jackets Wasps, and I received a telephone call from them within an hour or two. We agreed on price and they were here within two hours of that. Ryan and Kyle were both completely professional, very nice, listened to my story about the Yellow Jackets Wasps in our stove's vent, and went to work. They were both dressed very nicely in uniforms. They located the nest which Ryan said was a good sized one, removed it, and vacuumed the interior of the light cover over our stove's light to remove the dead bodies. They checked around our whole house under the eaves for any more nests, found none, and were done! They said that I might see one to three more Yellow Jacket Wasps inside my light cover, but they would be dead. And if any problems arise, to give them a call and they'll be right out. Ryan gave to me the AngiesList discount too! I so much appreciate their help and excellent attitude. I wholly recommend this company to anyone who has problems with any kind of yellow jacket invasion.

Ryan and Kyle are the owners (I believe) and also seem to do the actual work. Kyle visits once every two months and does the typical pest control stuff. When we first contacted eco tech, we had just moved into the house and had an ant problem. Kyle came out three times in three weeks (at no additional cost) nd eventually the ants were gone. Kyle has been very responsive and came to the house another time in response to a wasp issue. Kyle is very professional and is serious about providing value.

I signed up for a Big Deal Angie's List last year. They came out exactly on time and did a very professional job. I called them again this year and Ryan and Kyle came out and did an incredible job inside and out. I just signed up for a quarertly plan where they will come out every 3 months. These guys are really excellent! The spray they use has no odor and they do not skimp on spraying. You will not be sorry you hired them, they are also very nice and courteous to work with.

Like I said above, they came for rats and spiders and thoroughly solved our problem with both. They explained everything they did and used humane treatment, which I was very happy with. I would and will use them again!

Ryan found the problem entry point under the house. He really knows rat behavior (strangely enough!) but he was right because they were entering in a hard to see area around the PG & E gas meter which was overgrown with bushes, not easy to reach or even to see, but which had clear indications of rat entry (only an expert would know these signs). From there Ryan suggested I get PG& E to come out and move the meter so that we could seal up the hole. They did that, then Ryan came BACK and stuffed some anti-rodent material into the opening so that no more rats would come in. I also cleared up the brush around there. A funny thing is that Ryan found the rats had dragged some of the plums from my tree into the bait box after finishing off the bait. That way they'd have some stored and plus have a safe "dining spot" whenever they wanted to enjoy my plums. ARG-G-G-G-HHH. Anyway, Ecotech is the best. I'm going to use them for whatever services I need that they provide. Oh, and I didn't mention that they caught something like 4 rats this time around with the traps they set under the house.

I called EcoTech out to come and assess my rat situation in the attic. Ryan and his co-worker checked the parameter of the home as well as the attic and placed traps in the attic. They arrived on time and were professional. Upon returning to clear the traps; Ryan gave me a basic diagram of my home showing potential access points to my attic that the rats could be gaining access from. They came back a week later and removed the 4-5 rats that were caught on the traps and they will be back again the next week to remove anymore. So far I am very pleased with the service and the results: no more rats running around the attic.

I placed a call and, like, three hours later they were here and working. In and out within a half hour. Or so. It was awesome. Only had the exterior done as there was minimal ant issues inside and we have parrots. And cats. Ryan mentioned that, despite it being a green product, the smell can still sometimes be an issue for birds. Knowing that avian folk have hyper-sensitive respiratory systems, coupled with the fact that we weren't keen on an interior treatment anyway, we passed on doing anything inside the home. Oh, forgot to mention that the primary reason we originally called Eco Tech was the "Eco". We wanted to avoid the toxin factor and we're happy to see services out there that can make that happen. Now we just wait to see what happens. And here's hoping that nothing happens, as that will be the sign it worked. BTW, we contracted for bi-monthly service. This ant issue has been growing for a few years now and it was time to literally throw down the gauntlet. Albeit an eco-friendly gauntlet.

They did a good job. There was no problem. They were on time.

Their service has turned out well. They were prompt, professional, and polite. They made sure that I was completely satisfied before they left. They even gave me advice to keep the problem from coming back.
