They were very good. They called back immediately. They came out the next day and looked all around and gave me recommendations for keeping the mice and rats out. They called me before they came out to pick up the bait stations. I have not seen any vermin since.

They got rid of some rats for us. I did not check with other providers for pricing, but they did give a discount for Angie's List users. I will be using them again if needed.

I called Ryan, off of list's recommendation and he was at house within 2 hrs...He checked the entire house, found the infestation only in master bedroom and went into action, spraying and moving things....He told me that his process would take 2 more visits to make sure all the bugs and their eggs were dead and he returned when promised..He made a suggestion that I buy special covers for my mattresses and I did....But, after the 3 treatments, we were still finding a few bugs....I called Ryan, he returned promptly, and with out addl charge, gave my bedroom one more treatment...It has been 4 months and we are free of those nasty bugs.... We had a wasp infestation within the structure (the walls) of our sun room. Ryan Abramhamson sprayed into the nests through a tube and then caulked the openings (old screw holes left over from a remodel) to prevent future infestations. He also checked the outside of the house and garage, found two old nests and destroyed them. He was pleasant, professional, and informative. He used a safer spray, not toxic to humans and pets. We received an Angie's List discount from the regular flat rate for wasp removal.

After finally giving up with all of the store-bought ant sprays, etc., we sought professional help. We like EcoTech because they use an environmentally-friendly chemical that is non-toxic to pets. We bought the service as a special deal on Angie's List, which also saved us some money. The technician was friendly and efficient. He had our entire 3,500 square foot house sprayed on the inside and out in about an hour. The service was performed four months ago and we have not seen an ant in the house since. We have had ants on the outside of the house, but they haven't come in yet.

It all went well, from the beginning when Ryan (one of the owners) introduced himself. I had many questions of concerns and he answered them all both honestly and professionally. He explained the cost of service with different options available. As I am highly sensitive to certain chemicals and smells, he put me at ease in describing the materials that he used. I am happy to report that the product used for the inside was hardly noticeable. They do not have you sign a contract and the agreement is on a month to month basis. I was so satisfied that I am having them come every other month and you only pay them when they complete the service.

The gentleman was workman like and professional at the same time.

The work turned out great. They are fabulous, wonderful and they are very thorough. They were very personable, knowledgeable, and informative.

My person was very late, I took vacation time off to meet him. He did call to say he was running late, but then was REALLY late from his estimate. In fairness it rained a couple of days later, but I still have a spider problem. On the plus side, he was very polite and pleasant and the product he used didn't mess with my very sensitive allergies.

They arrived on time, and I felt very comfortable with the gentleman. He started by cleaning all overhead nooks and spaces, where I had seen spiders, and was helpful answering all my questions and concerns. I was impressed with him and comfortable with him in my home.

A foul odor around the back corner of our house made us think that a rat might have died up in the wall. We had been getting one or two rats in the crawlspace every year, and usually trapped them, or put out poison bait. I called one of the big services, to see what they would reccommend, but they just offered me a monthly trap service plan. I called EcoTech since they were in the "animal removal" category. They don't have "free estimates", but I really wanted someone who would get under the house and look around, so I was willing to pay for him to get dirty like that. Ryan, the owner, came out himself and appraised the situation. He wasn't able to find the carcass--he showed me how it was up in the wall in an essentially inaccessable area--but he explained that the odor woould probably only last a couple more days. He was right. He made a very thorough survey of the property, advised me about some steps I needed to take myself about trimming some trees back and requesting a rodent barrier from SMUD for my power lines, and gave me some insight into rat psychology and behaviour. He sent me an estimate the next day for an "exclusion" job--essentially fencing up all the gaps in the foundation where the rats had been getting in. He offered two options--fencing inside or outside the foundation. I didn't really get a second estimate on the job, because I felt like his professionalism and thouroughness during the estimate had earned my business. This is the reson I marked N/A on "price" above: I really don't know how much other companies would have bid. I will say that when he did the job, he was here for almost 6 hours, and definately checked and fenced every vulnerable point of the foundation. I feel the price was very reasonable for the time and materiels. He took the time again to show my wife all of the work he had done, and offered to come back and repair the fencing if it failed--there was a "one year" guarantee noted on the contract, but I think he'd probably come back beyond that time. The rats usually start harassing us in the winter, when it begins raining, and I guess that you can't really judge something by it's absence, but for the last five years, I have had that dread in the back of my mind: "when is that skritichy noise in the wall going to wake up my dog and keep us up all night again?". I'm still going to keep a couple traps under the house, but I feel a whole lot better now that EcoTech came out and did this job.

Ryan arrived exactly on time, a good start. He was very professional and friendly. Even though this was one of the Deals offered by Angie's List he went above and beyond what I expected. He was very thorough and didn't cut corners. I would not use anyone but this company in the future. He is that nice and good at what he does....Other than the special deal from Angie's his prices are very competitive.

I have been struggling with skunks under my house for several months and have hired two other contractors. The industry standard seems to be that there is a (rather hefty) initial charge, then an additional fee for each skunk removed. This gets expensive if you have a recurring problem, which is not uncommon. So I really appreciated that Ecotech was willing to not charge the initial fee, but only to charge for skunks actually trapped. Kyle Abrahamson and his assistant were friendly, prompt, knowledgable and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a skunk problem.
