Drain masters

I'm so glad I chose this company for my plumbing needs. When you have so many plumbers to choose from, you never know if you'll be happy with them in spite of the reviews. The technician was very thorough and knowledgeable and discussed a long-time plumbing issue we've had with me. I was very happy with the cost of the current service and will probably hire them to do other work.

Well. Two plumbers showed up. One was in training and the other supervised as needed. It went quickly and all questions were answered. Good Price

went well; completed in about 1 hour or so. Explained what was going on. Efficient.

Excellent! I appreciate this company's honesty, integrity and competence and would recommend it highly.

Installation went great. Although the sink was a tight fit in the available space, and installer had to modify location of dryer duct, connect to water line, etc, he did an excellent job and charged a low price. I have had no problems with the sink or connections he installed. I would not hesitate to use his company's services in the future.

They were friendly and fast. The one gentlemen explained some idiosyncratic issues with the original installation, but he worked with it. He pointed out that the controls weren't well supported, but said that the control itself didn't require a lot of pressure. He didn't pressure me to do expensive replacement work. He said that though my setup wasn't ideal it would be satisfactory. Nice guys, I would use them again.

Thomas was a professional. I called him because while having my foundation repaired we discovered water in one of the holes. He came out and looked the hole, ran water in the house and determined that he didn't think it was necessary to run the lines. When he also showed me how to fix a problem we were having with out dishwasher. When I asked how much we owed, he said nothing. That doesn't happen every day.

We had water filling up the toilets in both bathrooms plus coming from the shower and tub drains. Needless to say, we were pretty frantic to find a plumber. I pulled up Angie's List to search for one - called literally ten to fifteen of them and either they couldn't help us for several hours or not until the next day, or they didn't respond to messages. Called JRW Plumbing and left a message. He called back immediately and said he was booked solid but he recommended Drain Masters. We were so thankful for that recommendation. I called Drain Masters and Thomas said they were finishing a job but he thought he could be here within half an hour. He and his helper - Cardell (I hope I spelled it right) - were at our door within 30 minutes. Turns out the house sewer line was backed up due to a flushable wipe that had gotten caught on a rough spot in a cast iron part of the sewer clean out. They cleaned out the drain and loosened the cap on the clean out. We learned that houses have sewer clean outs - ours is in the front by the irrigation system. The rubber cap is supposed to be loose so that when the line gets clogged and backs up, it backs up into your garden instead of your house. Ours had been clamped closed by someone, who knows who. After that, they made sure everything worked inside and also replaced the wax rings on both toilets. If we ever have problems again, we will call Drain Masters. Thomas and Cardell were here when we needed them - Thomas said that they have three trucks in different areas so that there is usually someone who can respond quickly to an emergency. Thomas was professional and polite and super informative. He obviously knew what he was doing. Hopefully, we will not need them often, but Drain Masters will be our plumber from now on.

I had used this plumber (Thomas) before and had three good experiences. I just moved into an old house and one of the toilets needs a small repair. I called Thomas and he said he would come by the next day at 1:00 PM. I received a text from him at 12:55 saying he was running about 30 minutes late. An hour later I texted him and asked about timing. No response for over another hour. He didn't respond to a couple of texts and then a couple of hours later asked me to take a pic go the inside of the toilet. Never mind. It's now two and a half hours later than the appointment. I think perhaps he thought the job was too small, but I would gladly have paid for the visit to make it worth the effort. Or he should have said he couldn't do it. I wasted an afternoon waiting for him. Very disappointing service.

The service was fantastic. I called him on his cell on Sunday morning and he showed up exactly hone he promised. He was friendly, very clear with explaining what went wrong and how he was going to fix it. Thirty minutes later everything was back to normal. We had a chance to chat a bit while he was here and it was clear that this aaas a really nice man who was a very professional plumber. I wouldn't ever call another plumber after having them. It was perfect and affordable.

They call and say they will show up and then they never show. They also never call to cancel. The owner gets upset that I am calling to ask when the workers are going to show up. Owner says that he isn't a babysitter, and will not babysit the job. Tells me they are going to come and finish my job, but the length of time they stay is sporadic, even during the weekdays. One month into the job they aren't even halfway through it. There is a lot of shotty work.

I loved the communication he kept with me. His workers were all extremely professional and polite. They were punctual and very knowledgeable. They worked in the pouring rain and the heat and they went above and beyond there scope of work to satisfy my needs. I would recommend them to anyone and I would use them again in the future. I would give them an A++.

Thomas is amazing! He works hard to make sure the customer is happy and will do it right, even if it means going back to Home Depot multiple times for the right part! He is super friendly and easy going. I will be using him again in the future

It went very well! They came out right away (within 24 hours of calling) and they did a great deal of work. It was everything I expected and more! They were so nice and considerate of my home and when they came inside to work on my toilet. They were great! They did a a lot for $200 and considering it was only $79, that was great! Everything they did is still working. They were knowledgeable in their practice. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. It was certainly one of the best experience I've ever had with a company.

They got in contact with me right away after we purchased the Big Deal. Overall, It was fine. There were no additional fees associated with the Big Deal. They were an 'A' for sure.

All three that came were very professional and personable. They did great work and we plan on using them again in the future.

Thomas and his helper Eric came out on 2/4 to assess scope of job, said they would return on 2/6 to do the work. They returned as promised, on time, and spent the next 5 hours in some very difficult work that involved cutting and re-fitting pipes, recentering drains and sealing showing pans, all in the under-floor crawlspace of our house. They also re-did the leaking DIY work that had been done by the previous homeowners to connect the house water lines to the backyard irrigation system. This was originally supposed to be a discounted Big Deal price for $200 worth of work, but since the job went well beyond that in terms of parts and especially labor, they applied the $200 as a credit on the total job amount. All of this was fully discussed before they did any work. They did what they promised for the price we agreed upon and I believe they did a careful and thorough job (though I'm not inclined to crawl under the house for a first-hand look!) The outdoor work was well done. I would hire these guys again.

I needed him to change some faucets, which he did. He also said that because the deal was for $200, he said I'd have a credit with him. I had him come back out and install a toilet to fulfill the big deal. He went out of his way to make me happy. He's easy to work with.

The experience went well. There was a leak and they came back and were right on top of it and fixed it. They were polite, and thorough, and left the place clean, and they were both nice guys. They explained the issue that they had with a bad review, because the person that was going to hire them, didn't like the nationality of one of their employee. I was shocked, there is a bad review, and they did respond to it. They didn't go into race, but there is a review on there which should be removed. They thought they were thieves, because this guy was not the color they liked. I am going to call them back, because I want to talk to them about putting a water filter under the sink. I got a great price from them because I get a big deal of 99 Dollars. I had budgeted 150 Dollars for the install, and when I opened my Angie's List, I saw it. He is real fast about responding. I called him and he called me back, then I sent him an email on Angie's List confirming the appointment and he replied within half an hour. The toilet company sent me a kit, and I told him about the kit, and he said he would install it, and he also explained the method used. He said if I wanted them to install it, they would do it for free. They were very punctual, and they were here early, and that is a big deal for me, because I don't like waiting. They were professional.

The project turned out to be way more than anticipated because we have an old water heater which had a lot of sediment in the tank. The sediment clogged some of the valves when the pump was activated. Thomas, the plumber, was phenomenal in trying to figure out the problem and then went about to fix it even though none of it was his doing. It took him additional time and effort to get the job done but he didn't leave until it was all working to his and our satisfaction. Couldn't ask for better service. Thank you Thomas!

Thomas and his crew were VERY professional. Thomas is knowledgeable, frank, courteous, thoughtful, and meticulous. For the damage/work described above, they showed up when they said they would, did the work and cleaned up, and did not leave until they were sure that any concerns I had were addressed. Given the work they did I should have no other pipe/line issues, but if I do, I will enthusiastically call Drain Masters again. So should you.

That turned out great and they were awesome. We had a couple of faucets that were not running. They were able to take care of that quickly. They were prompt, courteous and fast. Two plumbers came out to do this work and it took them about an hour.

I purchased the services on Angie's List Big Deal. The Drain Masters went out of their way to contact me and worked around my busy schedule. When they came, they were very polite and pleasant to deal with. They fixed several problems and everything is working well.

He showed up exactly on time and really took his time analyzing the problems associated with my leaking toilets and faucets. The only thing which kind of bothered was the fact that he yelled at his helper who made a few mistakes. I felt sorry for the help.

Tom answered my call personally. He was very pleasant and organized. He had crew in our area, contacted our tenant to arrange service and within a few hours of my call, the line obstruction was cleared. He explained the use of a 2 inch cutter and said that he was only able to remove about 80% of the root that had grown into the sewer line between house and city line. He videoed the line from the cleanout into the house and from cleanout to city sewer. Still waiting to see video. He quoted me a very reasonable amount to make more permanent repairs and was sensitive to the problems absentee landlords sometimes have. He made it clear that he would let me know if this blockage was caused by tenant or our drain system. Our tenant has had 3 different plumbers out to address this same problem (monthly recurrence of sewer blockage). None of them were even able to locate the cleanout. They bored a small hole in the obstruction by snaking through the toilet, temporarily solving the problem and also assuring more work for themselves. It was refreshing to work with Tom. He was honest, prompt, and gave me a very fair price on a permanent repair to prevent future recurrences (that the other plumbers were happy not to address). I intend to have him complete line repairs as his and my schedule permit.
