Excellent service, very professional, and a competitive bid.

They get right to work. They clean up afterwards. They'll do extra for you like showing something which had nothing to do while they were called out. I would call them back again. Their price is reasonable for what they did.

The work went pretty smoothly. The crew arrived when they said they would, and were only here for a couple of hours. The trees look much better now, and that invasive vine is gone. I probably will need to have one of those trees removed at some point in the future. They seem to have reasonable prices for the removal and stump grinding - I just couldn't afford the extra expense at this time. I'll definitely look to them first for future pruning/removal jobs at my house.

Arrived on time. Cut down and removed one large tree and two small ornamental pine trees in my backyard. All trees were near my koi pond. They were as careful as can be to keep the leaves and sawdust from going toward the pond. Front yard had to trim and prune 3 large trees. They did an excellent job on cleanup at the end of the job. They are very customer orientated.

Excellent service, excellent company. I will not lose this phone number! I was not only looking at price for the service, but knowledge and professionalism. The estimator was fantastic, really knew so much about trees. The guys who did the work were on time, did an excellent, excellent job, cleaned up and we could not be happier. The trees, which had probably never been pruned or maintained, look wonderful. We couldn't be happier. And we are pretty particular about how we want our trees to look. The bonus: this company was 1/3 less in price than 2 other companies I got estimates from.

The team arrived as scheduled and methodically worked through all needed jobs. The tree, although hanging and laying all over the roof, was removed without damage to the roof. The team did a good job.

I called and Jon Pace returned my call that night. Kevin came out in a few days and gave us the estimate for the job. He was so knowledgable about the differerent trees and what was needed that we signed up for the work immediately. Jon scheduled the job for the following week, but it was raining that week. He rescheduled for the following Wednesday and this worked out great. We had Robert, Robert, Jr. David, Lester and crew working on our property and you would never had known they had stepped on the grass. They pruned the trees and cleaned up the property so well it was a pleasure to see what pride in workmanship means to these men. We are very proud of how our property looks now that Don's Tree did their magic.

Robert and his crew showed up on time. Except for a small amount of sawdust left in the hole where the tree stood, there was no way of knowing the crew was even here.....Very professional.

Amazing skills by young tree climber! Never had to touch ground on neighbors property. Permission to enter obtained. Ground crew courteous and responsive and work well together. My opinion was solicited and acted upon where appropriate. Job estimate 2-6 hours. Finished 2 hours. Start to finish with cleanup and disposal. No damage in a challenging yard. So impressed with these men. There was clearly a hierarchy amongst them which was courteously and humorously respected. Safety was obviously and thankfully observed by all.

They were punctual, very pleasant, efficient and did a great job cleaning up. We definitely will be using them again.

Removed a Liquid Amber, stump, and roots, whose roots were cracking adjacent side walks. I felt the price was fair as this was a difficult job. |I was lead to believe that the job would be completed in one day. |Crew arrived at the designated time and the tree was down in about two hours. |The entire crew left to get the stump grinder which they did not bring with them. Part of the crew returned several hours later and being so late in the day would have to return the following day. A different crew returned the next day after noon, and again were unable to complete the job. They returned the third day and finished the project. | |My main complaint was with the time to complete the project, as I had other people scheduled to come in to replace landscape and irrigation. | |Other than the time taken to complete the project I was satisfied with the service. I believe it was a fair price and the quality of the work and final cleanup were satisfactory. I would use them again as long as I had a firm commitment that they would man the job continually.

He had been very good. We got him out of the book but we were pleased with him so we asked him back. I thought the price was higher than I wanted to pay because we're older, they come to the house and they see the house and the grounds and it's like, "Oh my God, there's some money to be made here." A lot of people tend to go high. I don't know if he did or not. Maybe it was a fair price. I used his advice and I was very glad to see and hear from him. He did his thing and went on his way. It was just more than I was willing to pay. It's his business. He set his prices and he does what he has to do to make a living. I had to call and get a bid and he gave it to me and the bid was more than what I could afford. That's just the way business is. I'm an ex-regional sales manager and that's how it's done. He seemed to be very knowledgeable, he was well informed, he called if he was going to be late, and he showed up on time and did exactly what he said he was going to do which in today's market places are a bit extraordinary. Obviously if I'm bringing him back for $700, I felt I was confident in his overall capabilities.

Seemed like a very good contractor - family owned business. 3rd lowest bidder & I contracted with the lowest bidder, Bell's Tree Svc.

I had John, the person who gave me the estimate, look at 3 trees that I thought needed work. On 2 of the trees, John did not think work was needed at this time and recommended against the work. He gave me some advise on how I could improve the health of the trees. I was surprised and appreciative of his honesty. We arranged to hava a large fig tree that was hanging over my yard from a neighbor pruned back to the property line. On work day, the work crew arrived within the time frame, quickly pruned the tree that was hanging over my yard, cleaned up all branches and leaves and did not trample my flower beds growing under the fig branches. About 5 years ago, I had another tree service prune this same fig tree back from over my yard and that company charged me their minimal service fee of $300.00. I would definitely hire Don and Son to work on my trees in the future. .

It went well although there was a very minor attempt by the tree to regrow. One mowing seemed to resolve the problem. I used the recommendations in Angie's List to select the company and did not get any additional estimates, so I'm not able to judge the relative cost for work done.

Overall went very well there were very professional And did a good job.

I had an "irrigation" person out who told me that the redwoods were too close to the house and would probably destroy my foundation. I had been wanting to have someone out to look at these trees for several years anyway, so this news was the kick I needed to call someone. I went with Don's because of the reviews they have here on Angie's. I am sooooo happy I called these folks. Jon Pace came out the following day and said our trees looked good, what to look out for and gave us a homemade recipe for feeding them. He assured me that redwoods were not one of the top root invading trees but that if I was really concerned about it, what we could do to prevent any issues. I cannot express how much relief I felt after Jon was here :)
