The guys showed up a little early, which was awesome. - He gave me a call when he was on the way. Loaded a bunch of stuff that needed to be hauled to the dump. Super great personality. -- nice to work with.

Mike came, just as he said he would. He called about 1/2 hour before arrival to let me know he was on his way. He was very pleasant to speak with and quick in removing the pieces from my curb. I really appreciate the quick response. Thank you Mike.

Called Wednesday afternoon, arrived the following morning to estimate, returned in the afternoon to begin work, (in 100*+ weather) and left with a complete load in truck and trailer, returned following morning and left with a second complete load. Completed job quickly, professionally and within estimate. Very reasonable and responsive. Thanks Mike.

I called a couple of other top rated providers and Mike at Discount Hauling gave me the best price. He was going to be passing through my area on the way to another job so the timing was perfect. He was there in under an hour, loaded the trailer and was gone in less than ten minutes. One of the other providers I called has not even returned my call yet - several hours later as I write this. His price was less than half what one of the others quoted me. When the name says Discount Hauling, it really lives up to it.

Provider was fast and thorough. What I didn't like is 1) He did not complete the job in one day but strung it out over two. 2) He didn't commit to an exact time appointment time. 3) I had to call him four times to remind him to provide the donation center's receipt to me. After calling him 3 of the times 3 days in a row with him promising to bring the receipt the next day which did not occur, he finally delivered it to me 8/20/14, 7 days more than he promised it to me. I would use this provider again for small amounts of hauling but I would get a commitment that it would be completed the same day and I would not use him for anything involving getting a receipt of donation items.

Michael hauled off an old bed from my spare bedroom and other unused items. Michael did a great job.

He did precisely what he said he would do, was punctual, careful, polite and professional. His price was very reasonable.

I called Mike early afternoon to see about picking up a dismantled computer cabinet. He was able to fit me into his schedule later that same day. He called once on his way and provided me with an approximate arrival time. Very courteous and the price was very fair. I will use Mike in the future and recommend to friends.

Mike quoted a price per load and estimated how many loads it would take (one). He arrived on time, was personable, and sure enough hauled it all off in one load. We figured it would take more than one load to haul it all off, but he fit it in his trailer in one load. We weren't here when he finished, but it must have been a sight to see. We highly recommend him!

After reading the great reviews of Mike on Angie's List, I called him to discuss my need for help cleaning out my garage. Mike was courteous and professional on the phone, quoted the price in detail based on how full the load would be and how long it would take to complete the work. Mike arrived on time on the day I requested. He surveyed the situation, we disussed how to approach the job and then set to work. He is very organized, very helpful and very efficient. I was thoroughly satisfied with the work and with the price, it was exactly what he quoted to me over the phone. There were no surprises, except for how easy he made the whole experience for me. I plan to use his services again and would definitely recommend Mike to my friends and family.

Great. I called him at 11:00 and we arranged for early afternoon. He stopped by at 12:45. The trash was gone within 10 minutes.

A more than fair price for a small job. Just having a few items I needed to move from a storage room, I was having a difficult time finding someone to do it for a reasonable rate. (hint, don't check the and ldquo;Movingand rdquo; category for small jobs) The quotes I got from other companies were either too high, or required a multiple hour minimum (making them too high). When I called Discount Hauling, Michael Gee not only gave me a phone quote that I thought was reasonable, but ended up charging me less and giving me more service than we agreed on. It is good to find a company that does not try to get rich off the small jobs. Michael and his helper Robin were a joy to work with. I will be calling Discount Hauling back for any future hauling. Thank you Michael and Robin.

I cannot say enough good things about Michael Gee. He came to Woodland and gave us an estimate to do the requested work. This was not going to be a nice job. Fifteen years of hoarded stuff crammed into a house with three cats and two dogs, who were not house trained. He and Robin showed up, on the agreed upon day, and moved all of her things from Woodland to Carmichael. Her room was a long distance from the front door. The Comcast guy arrived, right in the middle of the move, and was not very happy to be there. He was going to leave and let me continue to set up the cable stuff on my own. Michael followed him out and told him (very nicely) to get back and finish the job, which he did. At one point I saw Mike pushing a little old lady, in a wheelchair, down the hall to help her find her room. I am certain this job was much longer and harder than anticipated, but not a word of complaint. I would highly recommend this company to do any of your hauling jobs. Not only do they work hard but they are really nice people.

Excellent! It was a seamless transaction. Michael is professional, prompt and pleasant as well as efficient. I called him in the morning and he was able to perform his services for me that afternoon after completing two other jobs earlier the same day. He is familiar with the local charities and recycle centers, so he takes any appropriate items first to these places before taking anything remaining to places requiring fees for disposition. This was an unexpected positive feature that I wasn't expecting.

Michael returned my inquiry call within a few hours-and before the end of the day had gone by my house and provided me with an estimate of $400 for four piles of palm fronds. He completed 1/2 the work in between rain storms in one day-and before he had a chance to complete the rest of the job, the city picked up the remaining two piles at no cost to me. He was very professional throughout the process, and invited me to seek other bids if I wished.

My original phone call was returned promptly and an appointment was scheduled. I was pleased with the swiftness of the loading up. I will use this firm again and highly recommend them.

It went really well overall. He came out on a Sunday. He was late, and I don't remember him calling us, but it was a quick turnaround. It was hot, in the middle of the day, and it was a Sunday, so we were very grateful that he came and the lateness didn't concern us. We thought that the rate was extremely fair.

On the day he was to come, about 1/2 hour before the time I had told him I had to leave my house, he called and asked for directions. He said he would be there in about 1/2 hour, which cut my time very close. I reminded him of my time constraint. Shortly before the time I had to leave he called again and said that he couldn't find a cross street I had named. He apparently had not written my directions down because he named the wrong street. He was about 15-20 minutes away. I said I could not wait that long. His response was to say "I've come all the way out here." I suggested that we set a new date. He hung up. 24 hours later he has not called back.

Courteous, professional and timely. Will use service again and recommend to others.
