DH Construction used an industrial grinder to remove travertine tile in our home and failed to protect—per industry standard and common sense—the rooms where NO work was to be done, resulting in significant but avoidable damage to electronics, ceiling fans, clothing, and food items. These rooms and their contents could have been protected, and the damage avoided, had DH hung 4'x9' sheets of plastic over the doorways of the rooms before grinding. However, as a result of DH's negligence, dust now hides in every crack and crevice of our house and personal belongings and is stirred up each time the HVAC system kicks on. Despite promises to the contrary, DH's cleanup efforts were woefully inadequate. Dust is INSIDE ceiling fans, appliances, and electronics. And DH's cleaning team declined to clean windows, blinds, and other dust-covered areas. The team's supervisor opined that we would be living with the dust for months if not years. As part of the same project, DH was to replace water-damaged, hardwood hickory flooring in our dining room. In the garage, we had a product box of remnants from previous installations; the exact flooring is also installed in two other rooms. Despite photographing the product information and taking sample pieces, DH delivered and installed similar but inferior flooring. DH claimed it was the best match. The new floor looked cheap and didn't match that in the other rooms. Using the product information on the box in the garage, I did an internet search. In five minutes, I found the exact flooring at two retailers in our immediate area. DH's error added weeks to our project's completion date. During their hire, DH sought to convince us that they are the ones called to clean up the mistakes of other companies. For your next project, we suggest you find a company that cleans up after DH—one that will treat your home and its contents as they would their own and that works to a higher standard—and hire them.

The money were paid by the insurance company. DH Construction repaired damages to my garage done by the driver who ran on his car into my garage destroying column, frame and garage door. Crag supervised the construction. He is very attentive to details and customer satisfaction oriented. The job is well done.
