+ 0 moreD.H Co. gave me a written bid on 2 separate occasions. When i studied both copies closely, (total approximate bid price $36,000). prices 3X differed on same item; also noted 4X an item was repeated and this added to their total price. I purchased 2 items on my own (e.g. new amer. standard toilet, $79.00, from a classified ad in Bee newspaper--bath store going out of business. D.H.'s price for Amer. Standard toilet $550.00. I called a garage door co. from Angie's List = $615 (and they removed an overhead dryrotted garage loft!) D.H. Co. price for same 26 guage metal, roll-up garage door installed for $1,377. To remove a dryrotted 2x4 inch crawlspace hatch replace/chem treat/paint, D.H. price $819.00; dumpster $500,(Angie's List dumpster Co.=$300), when i attempted a discussion with D.H. Co. owner, at my home, (and told him about my purchased $79 toilet; new installed garage roll-up door price $615. He abruptly left, sent letter saying we can't work with you we have other projects.
Description of Work: Was interested in hiring them to do a variety of home repair/remodel items. Roofing, stucco, paint, dryrot removal, repair/replace 3 doors; replace bathroom floor and install new toilet; manufacture an double arch entrance facade for front porch and install new bath medicine cabinet and install new vanity 3-light panel over medicine chest and more.

+ -1 moreI WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. THE GUY WAS LATE EVERYDAY AND DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE IF HE WAS DOING A GOOD JOB OR NOT. HE WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.
Description of Work: I HIRED THEM TO BUILD MY HOUSE.
