Handyman Steve was great he came in and fixed our broken bathroom door that was completely off the hinges due to our small children playing on it. He was nice, professional and his price was very fair. I am so greatful I was able to find him on Angie's list. I will definitely use him in the future!!

I left a message and Steve returned my call promptly. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly as I moved out of town & a family member met Steve at my house. He took care of the drawers in a hour's time and was professional & courteous. I would recommend him and use him again for future house maintenance.

When installing the cabinets Steve put a screw through a pipe behind my refrigerator while putting in a cabinet. Approximately a month later, when I was finishing up some work that he never finished, i started to take out the screw and water began to come out of the wall. My home warranty would not cover it because they said it was negligence. I move some things in the room behind the kitchen and discover water damage to my new hardwood floors. Steve will not return my calls, texts or emails.

He was easy to reach, quick to respond, did great work, was very professional and his price was fair. Would use him again in a heart beat!

Steve from Curb Appeal did a great job. He quoted us a fair price and had all of the charges listed in his estimate. He arrived on time and was very professional. He patched all of our leaks on our porch roof and fixed our torn flashing. He also added new flashing along the side of our roof to prevent rodents from entering the attic. We had him also repair some of our eves and remove our old gutters. He was honest and did a very professional job. He cleaned up his mess and hauled away our old gutters. I plan on using him again.

Steve had come by to solve other problems before: fix a broken lock on my garage door, determine the best course as per making a fountain pump functional, coming up with an amazing scheme to make my crawl space humanely inaccessible to skunks...this guy is quite the find. His prices are reasonable, he is precise and determined without being overbearing, has a fine sense of humor, very easy to get along with. I just wish I could have contacted him when I first moved here.

He determined that roots had invaded the drain. He installed a new drainpipe. For the lock problem he disassembled the deadbolt and lubricated then reassembled. Also adjusted the strike plate to allow easy operation.

Steve Albert was very responsive and easy to work with. Even though I never met him, he was upfront and straight forward with me from quoting the job through completion. He has a portfolio of pictures of completed jobs that you can view. It makes it very easy to put confidence in him. He is an accomplished handyman with a broad skill set. Steve went beyond the contracted work to do minor repair on the side gate upon my tenant's request at no charge! That is admirable.

Everything went great! The work was done well and in a timely fashion.

Great! Based on the quality of Steve's work on our rental maintenance (previous review), we hired him back to fix bathroom flooring damage caused by a leaking toilet. Steve gave a very prompt estimate, fit us into his schedule to ensure our tenants weren't inconvenienced, and stuck to his bid. He sent us photos as the project progressed and did a great job. We were relieved to have it all handled so quickly and professionally. Plus, he is a genuinely nice guy to work with!

Steve spent a very long day at our rental property. He was prompt, courteous, and cleaned up the work space. He respected our tenants privacy and was friendly. He has lots of experience fixing odd things, and had good suggestions on how to solve persistence problems. He was able to complete all the things on our long list, plus found other things that needed attention and took care of those. We would hire him again - and did.

The date of last contact is a complete guess as it's been too long. I purchased the deal because I needed a small job done. Contacted provider and let him know we were in no rush but would like him to contact us when he had wasn't too busy. After a couple of months gave him a call to see if he was available. Explained the job and he asked my husband to text a picture of what we needed. My husband couldn't figure out how to do this so called and left a message. Provider never called or came by to discuss the project. Angie's List was good enough to credit my account towards another good deal which I have used and appreciated.

Steve is very thorough and complete. He uses his ingenuity to think out the best way to repair a problem. With very good effect. We are glad to have him helping us. A very good man to talk to, as well!

in diameter.I have used Steve many times in the past and have been pleased with his work, etc. This is the HOA report my mail slot was not attached. Steve found mail slot on ground, reattached by installing wood strips behind garage wall siding, allowing the screws to anchor in a solid piece of wood because the holes in the siding had enlarged. Also tenants were complaining about the neighbor's barking dogs and he reported on what he heard. Thanks Steve, again!

The new door knob works perfectly. The grab bars were placed exactly where I told Steve to put them. He had previously installed grab bars in my other shower and did such a good job I had him come back to do this job. He did a very nice job cleaning the bathtub when he was finished.

Steve was great. He happened to be in the neighborhood when I called him and he came out almost immediately. He recommended repairing rather than replacing one of my screen doors and gave me options for doing it myself or having him do it. We set up times to get the work done, but had to reschedule because of the storm last week. Steve was very flexible about coming in evenings ands weekends ands actually finished the job on Sunday morning. We are very happy with his work and plan to use Curb Appeal again.

Both the irrigation and the light are working great. I have had Steve as my handyman for 18 years and he always does great work.

Steve as always came on time. Everything he did looks great and is working well. He vacuumed after he was finished. I could not be more pleased with the job.

Steve is awesome! In trying to save me money he purchased my new door on sale and delivered it to me. Several months later we scheduled him to do the job. He's always helpful, on time, cleans up, and most importantly does a great job. This was my second time hiring him and I will again in the future. I highly recommend him.

Steve was great. He asked for photos of problem areas and came with appropriate parts for the problems. He's friendly and knows what he's doing. We will call him again for plumbing problems.

Steve was prompt arriving to the job and with the work. He has done various jobs for me in the past and I would recommend him for any job. I have since moved out of state and am now needing a handyman at my house. I hope I find someone as honest, efficient, and friendly as Steve.

Steve was the first provider who returned my call and he arranged to come by the next morning because of his schedule. He called that evening stating that he was going to be in my neighborhood and asked if it was okay to come by that night. He arrived around 7:30 PM. He disassembled the door handle, latching and deadbolt mechanisms. He lubricated the mechanisms and was able to retract the deadbolt and get the upper and lower latches to open and close which allow me to close the door. Steve was very thorough and he made every effort to get the deadbolt to function again. He finally concluded that the deadbolt mechanism needed to be replace. In addition to being very thorough, Steve was very personable. I appreciated his willingness to come after hours. I will definitely use him again in the future if I need the services of a handyman.
