Description of Work: Installed ceiling fan and garage flooring. Steve did an excellent job and I would recommend him to anyone!! Very hard worker.

Description of Work: In preparation of the big storm I was looking for someone to shore up my fence at the last minute. I had been in touch with Curb Appeal for other work but contacted them about my fence. They rearranged other work to come out and take care of this for me at the last minute as if I were a family member! I have not received a bill yet and texted them about that. Another reason it feels like family. Thank you Curb Appeal!

Description of Work: he showed up, was going to get supplies, and never came back. I tried to reschedule and that didn't work out either.

Description of Work: Well meaning gentlemen. Friendly and personable. Called him before scheduling the appointment to find out if he had the expertise for the "handyman" jobs with which I needed help. Steve said he could on the phone. At his arrival, he was not able to perform those jobs I needed completed. He had no mind for details and did not replace items that had to be moved back to their original position. Nor did he give me any advice on where to get the supplies (previously discussed on the phone) that would be needed to complete the job as requested. The major job I needed was to have an over-the-counter microwave installed. The whole hiring process was based on whether Mr. Albert could install the microwave. At arrival, he was unable to complete this requirement. He was good at propping up a fence, adjusting a flourescent bulb and moving a towel rack. He also was able to reach in and pull out a fixture in the lighting fixture in the master bathroom. However the decorative ring that was supposed to go around it was not available.

Description of Work: purchased the $85 deal for this vendor through you on Paypal on 3/28/13. I called Steve and he told me he would come by in a couple of days and would call me to tell me when. I have not heard from him since and when I try to phone him I get no answer and no voice mail. Please refund to Paypal my charges for this deal. Also, based on the reviews I see on this vendor you should take him out of your system completely. This has obviously happened to several others.

Description of Work: The gentleman called and we discussed the project. He came by my house looked over project. He was very likable and professional. While he was here, I purchased the Angie's coupon for his $75.00 Special, and told him he had the job. THEN... Nothing. I emailed and left telephone messages and I didn't hear a word. I contacted Angie's and received a full refund. Angie's List handled the refund VERY professionally and very quickly. He finally called and said he had a family emergency. That is why I didn't give him "F" scores above. My biggest criticism is... he should have called. I hope everything turned out okay for him. As I said, he's a very likable guy.

Description of Work: This is the first time I've written a negative report on a company or individual found on Angie's list. The owner showed up to see what we needed to have done, promised a price quote the following week and we never heard another word from him. Very disapointing

Description of Work: I needed work on my fence as well as a barrier built to keep my dog in the yard. Mr.. Albert came and looked at the fence, suggested a plan and then went to check out material so he could work out an estimate. He called back with an estimate and a date to do the work. He performed the job, then returned the next workday due to adjustments. Steve did an excellent job on the dog barrier, and even rounded up my dog when it escaped before the fence was finished. He also repaired my stuck iron screen door at no charge. I would not hesitate to use Curb Appeal again for my handyman needs.

Description of Work: Mount fire extinguishers on wall, repair sprinklers, place screen in front of ejector pump, and install metal flashing on overhead beam.
