Description of Work: Truth in advertising -- NOT with this company! I contacted Cumex based on these reviews and detailed what was needed in my new home. We established a time and was given a quote of $250. When I questioned this, I was told it would be adjusted based on the work. The 2 lady crew arrived late and could not communicate with me. I showed them around my home and gestured to the work areas. Since I was moving materials over, I left my home and was called in 45 minutes stating that they were finished and that it was an easy job. The adjusted invoice would be left. I returned to find a bill of $200 for 45 mins of mediocre work. I immediately called and was informed that he could not speak to me since it was a poor reception. I stated my concerns and he said he would follow up. NOTHING!

Description of Work: Owner came out to give me an estimate to clean my house bi-weekly. I had been out of town so my house was messy but certainly not filthy. I just had suitcases and laundry out. Owner stated he would call and give me an estimate once he was back in the office. I haven't heard from them since.

Description of Work: I called on Thursday for an appointment and CUMEX gave me one for the next morning Friday at 10:00. I was having a party the next day. Before starting the job I was given a price of $100 which they stuck to. They did such a thorough job. The 2 women worked for over 2 hours and cleaned everything. My house was really dirty but I felt very comfortable giving them the way of my house. Afterwards, I felt incredible. I'd never had everything spotless at the same time. I experienced such a release of stress and could focus on other things better having a clean house. I don't feel so overwhelmed with maintaining my house, now. I am keeping it up better. However, I would definitely have CUMEX come back when I'm having guests over. I also intend to have them back to do seasonal cleaning. This was the first time I had my house professionally cleaned. I am hooked! There's nothing like a clean house!

Description of Work: We did not use Cumex because their estimate of what they would charge to do the housekeeping was very high. I am still looking. I need someone for every Friday and it has to be reasonable. My house is small and they would be cleaning less than 900 sf of the space. It isn't dirty or cluttered and they wanted a hefty sum for cleaning.

Description of Work: After feeling overwhelmed with housecleaning, and working FT, I checked Angie's list and called Cumex. The owner came out the next day (Sunday morning!!) to give me an estimate, and told me that either he or his wife would always accompany the cleaning team on every visit. When I told him that I would prefer something toward the end of the week, and he set up the time/date for Thursday morning (perfect) after emailing me a detailed estimate of charges. The first cleaning was more expensive, but also more thorough, from ceiling to floors everything sparkled. They also steam cleaned my grungie carpet, which looks better than it has since I moved in three years ago. They will return in two weeks, and I have such a sense of relief, that I'm now able to take care of the things I've been wanting to do, but never had time for, as well as being able to sit down and relax rather than look at all the things that needed to be done. Thank you Cumex! I've already referred you to my supervisor.

Description of Work: JC and his crew of 2 arrived at 10 am and worked until about 3PM. The house was a recently emptied 2,200 square feet home. We had lived there for 5.5 years. Of course, it was dusty under the furniture. They shampooed the carpets, cleaned based boards, cleaned bathroom light bulbs, oiled the oak cabinets, washed floors, cleaned 5 windows inside and out and cleaned two bathrooms.

Description of Work: Very pleasant and thorough although not to the glowing standards I had heard referenced on Angie's list. At first they quoted us a price and then raised it a few weeks later saying it was a mistake with their English (?), but the price is still reasonable and the quality is good and they are friendly and honest. I do recommend them.
