Lowes bathroom and kitchen countertops with Counterfit installer - ughhh 🙄. 2 stars. previously measured countertops to get correct Sqft. They were very sneaky. Tried to have backslash as a separate work order, even after paying for the full amount of the guartz sq. footage for both backsplash and countertops. Trying to schedule and coordinate was very difficult as well. They would always refer to to someone else and another department, so you won't get anywhere trying to ask for help. Not customer focused. Lowes was more of an advocate for their contractors than you as a customer. Be on the lookout for that. I recommend measuring your square footage and ask for full price of installation and demo separately from the square footage. You're paying more for their incomplete work than you are for the material. They also don't take great care in making sure the wood portion is secured and stable during install. Counter Fit didn't even add a plywood stabilizing component. They just slap it on, add the glue and try to claim an extra charge for the actual completion of the project. Make sure you thoroughly read your paperwork and what you're signing... best of luck. Highly recommend a private contractor.... I give 2 stars because the material looks good. Not for their sleaziness or lack of work ethic. They will take advantage of your naivety. Installer was in Sacramento. Called Counter Fit... go someplace else. Horrible customer service. Would not recommend this company at all! No follow up on your order… weeks of waiting. Not worth the trouble. Find another company who will do better!

I could not be more disappointed in Counter Fit. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ever experienced. Hired them through Home Depot to install quartz countertops. It took 5 months for them to get it installed. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks. So, after two months went by with no communication from them, I began calling. But the project manager would not return my calls. This happened for 3.5 months! And when they did get installed, two pieces were missing from the side edging. And a HUGE gap exists between the kitchen window and counter due to poor measurements. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

They screwed up big time. First my sink was to be under mounted. The guy cut the hole to big for the sink. I even handed him the template he tossed it to the side. Then they never sealed the countertops. Now around the sink the granite is turn black. Mind you that I purchased these back in june 2020 they installed them in august. Been calling them since . Finally now October of 2020 I got an email saying that they were coming out monday the 12 of October. Let's see.

CounterFit failed on multiple levels, first they did not follow up with me to schedule an appointment for my countertop fitting, I had to reach out to them repeatedly via voicemail and email. It was so bad that the office manager got back to an email I sent to them through their website 2 months later. Finally at installation time, the installers banged and subsequently damaged my new kitchen cabinet corner and now refusing to fix the damage they caused. (See attached photo)

Both jobs went well. The countertop looks great, and the workers were efficient and courteous.

The guys did a really good job on the install. I was worried because they were a subcontractor for tops I bought through Ikea but they came through and the installation was well-executed. I only have two very, very minor issues.

Sash was very professional to work with and helped us throughout the project where needed. The office staff was always very friendly which is a huge plus. The installers were not here at the schedules time... they got very delayed. Once they arrived, they did a professional job. We would recommend Counter Fit to friends and we hope to use them in the future for another bathroom remodel.

We obtained 5 bids from different fabricators. Counterfit was by far the most professional and responsive. They did an overall excellent job at a very competitive price

People were great to work with. The counters were fabricated in their shop so they created a template after the old counters had been removed. We had the opportunity to discuss where the seams would occur and the particular details of corners and edges. After the templates were laid out on the slabs we visited the shop to confirm that the seams would be the least obvious. We have a big angled counter with a sink in the middle that required a seam down the middle so a good match was important. They installed on schedule and the workmanship is great. We are very happy.

Top notch results and experience! Materials in perfect condition, well finished, single seam, very accurate templating. Work crew very professional and courteous. I LOVE my new counters, and I Highly recommend Counter Fit!

This is the second job that was completed for us. The first was granite counter tops in the master bath, which was part of a total remodel of that room. Both projects presented several unknowns which Sash and his crew were able to successfully solve. The jobs were started on time and completed within our desired time frame. Very pleased with the quality of work, HIGH LEVEL of customer service and professionalism.

Salvador came out to measure the counters and create a template on June 26. A week later - between floor tile and backsplash jobs done by Brooks Tile - Salvador and Juan returned to install the tops. The existing cabinets are older, so there was some minor leveling and adjusting to do. Salvador had recommended a method of building the top up to fit a recessed window sill. I'm glad I took his advice. The counters look great. Counter Fit did an excellent job of fabricating the Silestone, building up the edges, and installing the tops. I hadn't been sure about drilling a hole for the dishwasher air gap. A week later, after I had the plumber's advice, they were very accommodating about sending someone out to do drill another hole the same day. Very professional, high quality work. Recommended with the caveat that you should go look at the slab they order for you and not assume that it will look anything like your sample. Mine is much "spottier" than the sample of the same name and color The reason for the B under quality.
