Description of Work: I did not purchase this and yet you continue to ask me to review this every time I log on. Please stop. I didn't purchase this because the man (owner) was rude and demeaning. He had no track record or others for whom he had performed this work and he called me "Honey," and "Babe." I do not want this to be published but I want you to stop asking me to review this company once and for all.

Description of Work: I purchased the $1,499 Big Deal shower remodel on Angie's List and promptly received a call from Tim and set up an initial project evaluation on-site within a week. I needed a custom tub/shower conversion to a full shower. The scale of the project went beyond the Big Deal parameters, so Tim and I discussed what allowances he would make to extend the 50% discount on the Big Deal offer to my specific project needs and budget. As you notice, the total project cost was nearly double, but that was because the extent of work required on Tim's part was far beyond what the standard project would entail. Tim and his son spent roughly 40hrs total in 8hr shifts to build a new 1" mortar bed from floor to ceiling in preparation for laying down porcelain tile and two decorative bands, a corner bench, a recessed box, two corner shelves, along with tiling the entire bathroom and vanity (about 160sqft total), adding tiled baseboards, and grout. It was a huge project with multiple other workers (old tub demo/removal, hot mop, dry rot floor repair, new plumbing, paint) and Tim was in constant contact with me to flex his work schedule around mine to accommodate the other ongoing work. The finished project is gorgeous, a complete bathroom makeover for roughly $5,300 total is money well spent and Tim was a big part of it. Thanks Contreras Tile!

 + -1 moreTim was great! When few other companies wanted to bother with a small job [tile repair], Tim said he would work it into his schedule. Since we were under a somewhat tight deadline, we really appreciated his responsiveness. Tim returned phone calls, his information was straight and to the point and he showed up on time. Very important: he did a great job! They left our home as clean as they found it. Further, you can't tell where the repair was, it simply blends in. The price he charged was very reasonable. We would absolutely use Tim Contreras Tile again. Thanks, Tim!

 + -1 moreTim literally saved me thousands of dollars from the other estimates (not through Angie's List). I highly recommend him. He's prompt, returns phone calls quickly, does a great job, very professional. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again when I remodel the kitchen.
Description of Work: Tiled two new bathrooms which included tub surround, a shower stall & the floors in both bathrooms. He made the suggestion of a better place to purchase the tile & even using tile as baseboard in both bathrooms.

 + -1 moreMost of the flooring was there and I just needed a few more tiles put in. I was very happy with the work that he did. I give him high marks all around. He was professional and did work well. He was easy to communicate with. I think that he was a bit late because he was stuck somewhere but he called ahead. I was satisfied with the job. I think that he was great.
Description of Work: Contreras Tim Tile put in a few tiles in the kitchen where there were no tiles.

 + -1 moreWhen I needed someone reliable to finish tile work in the master bath, hall bath, and kitchen in my parents' home, Tim and his sons came through beautifully. They were nice, polite, professional, and figured out how to make the backsplashes look attractive, even though the sinks were installed with gaps along the walls. That was a real challenge, and they were creative and came up with the perfect solution. I would definitely recommend them and would ask them to do more extensive tile work on my own home in the future.
