I don't like them at all. I have never had them come in. The pricing is weird. They are trying to get in my internet and the people were helpful.

Well, they were better than the last company. I have been with them for about a year. I am not happy with how much we have to spend. Like all internet companies they will keep raising the price a little bit and raising the price a little bit. Pretty soon you are all the way up there again. I don't like that. I think they can do better on their pricing. They are the best I have found that are out there.

I like Comcast. I think they are too expensive. I have an old land-line phone and I want to do away with it actually because I have a burglar alarm too and it is hooked up to the land-line. Once the contract runs out on that, I am going to just do away with my land-line. My bill is $89 a month for high speed internet and the land-line. I think for me it is exorbitant. I love my computer but I think it is exorbitant to have to pay that much. They are pretty responsive. The times that I've had to call them about things, they do respond well. They are really good.

I ordered the internet system from Comcast. I was impressed with the nice professional attitude the person had when they came and set up my system. They were even nice enough to make more cable for me to replace some of my old co axial cables that I had.

As usual, my Comcast bill was going up again, but my services were remaining the same. I'm 62 years of age, have a limited income and only had Internet and basic TV. My new bill was going up to $83.00 per month and I nearly fell over. I called Comcast and asked what they could do about this. Could they recommend a different plan? Did they have a plan for those over 60? I new they didn't, but it never hurts to ask. I was told to go to my local service center. I took modem with me just in case, and went to my local service center. I asked about the various plans available, my monthly income and their yearly increases with no increase of services. There are no plans for those on the lower end of the economic scale. I asked what Comcast did for and quot;those people.and quot; He said in a very loud voice, and quot;IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT, YOU CAN'T HAVE IT.and quot; That was end to Comcast. I had paid for the month ahead, as every customer does. I had him turn off my TV that very minute and credit my account. I bought an HDTV and a $20.00 antenna = basic TV. I went with Frontier for Internet. $39.00/month 2 year contract and it works perfectly. I will NEVER consider Comcast again, will NEVER recommend them. Comcast doesn't care about the customer, only their profits. Their customer service is the worst ever, their outages are frequent and never credited. Comcast is everywhere but in my home.

They were misleading at office, raised prices while in service, and were impossible to reach other than in person. If you needed in home service of some kind be prepared to devote your day to their convenience. TYou work? too bad. I am not certain about the dates of service, but if you check on the web Comcast is one of the most hated companies in America.

My internet was unresponsive and had previously been painfully slow even though I pay for higher than average internet. After waiting for over 20 minutes to speak to someone, I was informed that I was on a 'slow' router. They moved me to a faster router. Why didn't they proactive change this as I was not receiving the service I was contracted to receive? At a company it is not just the product, but the service. Comcast's service is the worst You will be on hold for a very long time and receive no compensation for your time, or the hassle, or the lack of service you receive.

Technician showed up on time and very courteous. Explained how to access some features/configurations so that services had better efficiency and throughput. Also explained how to monitor and report percieved/measured deficiencies in future along with steps to mitigate access issues. All in all a very good representative. However, I still think that prices are somewhat higher than they should be since I can get faster throughput in other areas for about the same money.

The installation went smoothly. However, the new cable boxes they left me with, kept crashing. I have to reset them frequently. I was told it was a new equipment they were trying in the market and that there were a few bugs to fix. On the positive side, I must say that the new interface for cable is much better. I am not happy with the amount of money I pay Comcast every month for their services. It seems excessive to me.

I asked for a updated DVR, they just tried to upgrade me.
Description of Work: After having the DVR replaced for the 4th time, they don't show any regard to the hassle it causes. They don't even tell you that the equipment is bottom of the barrel stuff instead of telling you that a better.DVR is available or a better modem. If you don't ask for current equipment they certainly won't tell you better and upgrade equipment is available.

I am paying more money than I should be paying for the amount of TV we actually watch. However, I have no choice with Comcast if I want to see Giants games. I am required to buy a premium service to receive their game channel. I am looking for a cheaper option.

I almost switched to satelite, but they lowered my monthly rate, so I did switch, not yet. |My biggest gripe is that Comcast doesn't seem to care how long they make you wait in their store when you walk in. They are sooo slow..............

The TV service is pretty good, not issues there. The internet is a lot faster than when we had ATand T and another service provider, a lot faster. About 5 times faster. We don't have issues with the lines in the area and have to have them come out and repair them every 6 months like we did with ATand T. It is a lot better quality than what we had before.

Fairly complicated install. We had to negotiate the placement of the cables so that they were not not strung on the outside of my house. This took 3 hours for three people to complete, so pretty fair deal on the install. |Comcast was the only provider that would separate out their internet service for a fair price. All other providers want to bundle for much more money. |So far the internet service is comparable to Surewest internet service for less than half the cost.

They were fairly prompt in setting up my service at the house I moved to. They have and quot;external wiresand quot; strung all over the outside of the house. They balked at adding the extra cable outlets I wanted, asking me to do it another tme - but they would charge me for another visit of course - so said no, I wanted it all done on 1 visit so I wouldn't have to pay for another visit, unless they could promise me they wouldn't charge for another visit. No such promise could be made. I have the bundled phone, internet and cable. The phone outlet is taped to the wall with blue painters tape because they couldn't get the 'stickyand quot; to stay. and it is still up with blue painters tape which is not exacty attractive. They completed the job but left me with a mess to clean up and the entrance tile to the space above the house is now dirty - and yet it was clean and unmarred when they started. They seemed to think they didn't need to clean or repaint the tile. They left little piles of white dust whereever they drilled holes and didn't clean up after themselves. Ive been wih them several years now since they put the service in. Most of the channels are useless to me, yet I have to pay for them - all the foreign language channels are useless, yet they say - ohh you've got XXX channels for this price. The channels I would like to use are extra money. I have no interest in sports - yet I have a ton of sports channels that count in the XXX channels - but again, channels with my interests are extra money. I guess though that same thing is with most cable providers. They don't group similar together, scatter their bundles all over the numbers and don't make it easy to tell from the onscreen guide which channels you have access to and which you don't. They could at least put a color box beside the channels you have access to. Overall value is very poor, especially since most of what they offer in the way of channels are either repeat channels - (so they get to count them twice or three times in that supposed number of channels you have access to) or are channels for which you have absolutely no interest. So why am I with them - I guess you have to determine which is the best of the worst and go with that. I will say that the internet speed is good. I've called them a few times for one thing or another and for the most part it's ok. Their customer reps, though, have no power to say yea or nay to requests for a discount on the bill to keep a customer so you always have to make 2 or three calls several times a year to get to anyone who can help you with that. It's alway a fight to try and get a minor discount - even when they have ads plastered all over saying XXXX a month for new customers - but no incentive to keep their current customers. I put and quot;yesand quot; to the question of if I would use them again. At this point I'm sort-of stuck with few decent choices and the yes is only because there are few choices in this area. .

Installer was prompt and professional, so split A for him, D for telephone reps. The number of channels was less than promised;however, I did not print out the internet ad (big mistake on my part) and the and quot;specialand quot; was already changed on the internet. My bill was much higher than the special. Spent over 1/2 hour on telephone with rep. got the price lowered to the one promised but not the number of tv channels. On my next bill they included a and quot;one-time feeand quot; with no explanation of $55.00 when I called they said my bill was large because of paying a month in advance. Still haven't gotten the fee issue resolved. I will definitely switch cable providers when my 6 months is up.

They came out three times before they fixed the problem I had. I don't like that I pay so much for just the basic channels. After they fixed the problem, I haven't had any since then. I was dealing with them on the plan I have and I was supposed to get a cheaper rate by switching over and when I received my bill it was actually more. When I called, they took care of the issue and credited my account.
