COIT Cleaning and Restoration of Sacramento

I called them to come look at the water stains on my drapes and they came after a week to which point they said that water stains are VERY difficult to remove but since I had no other option and the fact they pride themselves on their 70 years or so of experience I obliged and agreed they wash them. They came 2 weeks after that first appointment to take the drapes and then took another 2 weeks to return them! When they came back i saw the water stains were there just as before, identical but still had to pay them $270 or maybe more. So at this point I did some research on the web and 5 minutes later I prepared a solution and removed the water stains in 2 freaking seconds!!!! SO F COIT and their 70 years of experience. Actually I ended up noticing that they didn't even bother cleaning them because there was dust all over! They took the drapes and didn't do crap and charged for a service they never did. STAY AWAY

Coit did a great job. Very professional and thorough. I felt I got my money’s worth. Todd was the gentleman that came to my house. He knows what he is doing and takes pride in doing it right. I will have them clean the vents annually.

Terrible! Inexperienced employ who called late and came later, spent 2/3 day in just mstr bath because he didn’t know how to clean thru overspray on hairspray which spread all over! Never completed to anyone’s satisfaction. He was supposed to have help eland didn’t, messed up polishing rest of floors so called a mgr who helped to 5:00 and left floors a terrible blotchy unpolished mess. $3000+ without pulling those OLD records so why are you even checking now?? I also had a bad handy man thru you and sent an explanation which you’ve ignored for a few months!! Would I give you anything butva failing grade? And, I’m easybto get along with!!

Floors look great and very clean Chair has no more spots

I looked on Google for a carpet restoration. I had some spots that needed some attention or I was going to have to cut out part of it and have it repaired. They came and did a real good job. I had stretched out this plastic covering because I was taking care of my mother in our bedroom. I had put it down. It said not to leave it down for more than two weeks. Some of it I had left down. The part that was so bad, I left it the whole time I had my mother which was three years. The stickiness had gone into the fibers from the plastic. Every time I would get the carpet cleaned, it still would not get rid of that stickiness. He came to see if he could make it look better. He did make it look better. I don't know how long it will last because it has been so long. They arrived when they said they would. They were prompt. He was here for an hour. Because the edges in my bedroom and around an area rug. It was spot cleaning.

I don't know if it's my carpet or whatever it is, but in the past I have used another provider and they are very, very good. COIT - the guy did not do my stairway; I mean, the stains came back, so I don't believe he did a thorough cleaning. He could've taken more time on the stairway. We have white carpet and there's only my husband and I here. He did a fairly good job everywhere else, except for the stairway. I will probably go back to the other provider; I've always had real good luck with them.

Perfectly!!! The technicians arrived right on time, sized up the job, gave us an estimate.......when we accepted the estimate, they went right to work and two hours later they were on the road to the next job. They were very knowledgeable and professional in every way and will use them again should I need any of the other services that they provide.

They gave me an estimate and came hours late. The first tech had problems in the mstr bath and finally called another then they got partway through and wanted to add over $1500 to the price and didn't finish the polish which is a mottled mess, or repairs or carpet and left and never returned to make it right.

It was great. They did great. It was wonderful. It was a brand new dryer and nobody could figure out what the problem was and a couple of folks checked the line had given up and they came and found that a squirrel had made a nest at the end of the vent. They just charged me for coming. They didn't charge me for the whole cleaning or anything. It's a very good service and good cost. It was pretty inexpensive. It wasn't that bad. They just charged me for coming and inspection. They didn't do much, they just found the nest. They were right on time.

They did a fine job but I think they could have done better along the baseboards.

We have used Coit in the past for carpet and drapery cleaning and have never been disappointed. The technician was very thorough in his inspection and explanation of services to be performed. He arranged to have pick up and installation done on the same day for both residences within about a couple hours everything was installed and looked great.

I think they are a bit expensive, but there is no one else in town, who does it as thoroughly as they do.

Neither the chair not the cat tree was properly cleaned or rinsed. They left the dirt on the chair and were there and gone in less than 25 minutes. It was a rush job and they weren't very willing to finish rinsing either piece.

The process was quick. The scheduling process was lengthy. I called during the 50% off ad but it took 2wks for a rep to come out for the estimate and the a week to schedule a day. The 50% deal was up w/in the week and they rescheduled the time 3 times

We were assured that their polishing service could significantly improve the look of the dulled surface. After spending approximately 1 hour, they said it's as polished as it's going to get. It did not look very different than before they started. They said that's the nature of the work. and quot;It's hard to predictand quot;. They did not offer a discount on the fee even though they did not deliver on their promise. I felt I was very misled.

Went very well. The technician was very professional and thorough.

They came to do an estimate the day after i called. They called to confirm about 30 mins prior to appointment. Very professional. We will use Coit, we just have to make time in OUR schedule.

Estimate on cleaning of coffee spots on drapes. Coit stated not able to clean out the spots so no work was performed and no charge.

The service was really good. He even showed up on time.

The services were provided by different people within COIT, which caused some confusion. For example, if the air-duct cleaning caused dust and debris to be spewed all over the carpets (and it did), the carpet cleaners thought that it wasn't their job necessarily to vacuum up that mess. The air-duct cleaners tried to cover the vent opening during the process of blowing out the system, but the coverings did not work, so dust and popcorn ceiling bits went all over the place. The air-duct cleaners also inspected the system, but did not offer to seal the surrounds for each of the vents until after they'd already reassembled the system, so I had to ask them to go back and do that. They hadn't offered this extra service to me because it would be an extra charge, but the whole point of my wanting an inspection was to find and fix areas that needed sealing. One of the air-duct cleaners was very helpful in letting me look over his shoulder at the air-ducting in the attic, once he had gained access. I don't think they meant to leave a mess behind; I think they thought that the carpet cleaners would have come behind them and taken care of it. The carpet cleaners did not do a very thorough job of vacuuming before steam cleaning. One of the recliners had a clear and quot;lineand quot; between the cleaned and uncleaned portions of the seating surface because they hadn't bothered to recline it to expose that portion of the seat. The back portion of the seat was still covered in cat hair and crumbs afterwards. Also, the person whom we initially contacted with COIT said that COIT would move any light-weight furniture as long as it didn't have knick-knacks on it, but on the day of the cleaning, it was clear that I had to move most of the end tables, straight-backed chairs, etc. out of the carpeted rooms myself if I expected any cleaning to happen; otherwise, they wouldn't have vacuumed the carpet under any of these light-weight items. The carpet cleaners worked very fast (I think they were in a hurry), but they weren't very thorough. Even though the carpet cleaning happened after the duct cleaning, I had to re-clean the floors and other surfaces near about half of the air-duct vents. The carpet cleaners also left without leaving a copy of the receipt, so I had to call COIT to have them mail me a copy. Overall, the service wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either, so I'm giving them a and quot;C.and quot; When I expressed my dissatisfaction about the service, COIT's only answer was that I could ask their servicepersons to return to reclean the dirty areas. I did not take them up on this offer because, as I had explained to them, I don't have lots of extra time available to meet them to have work re-done that should have been done better the first time.

Coit has been cleaning our carpet for several years. The service leaves the carpet soft. Other carpet companies left our carpet stiff and almost sticky to the touch. Coit may be a little more expensive, but it is definitely worth the little extra dollars.
